Re: A forced break This thread is not an appropriate topic for the forum... it was made in anger and is tied to a series of emails. I will respond to it quickly then close the thread.
My concern was with Scott (called2freedom) calling the denominations we respesent "wolves in sheeps clothing".... that's disrepectful. Here's the exact email I sent him: Scott,
At a bare minimum, the denominations listed on the home page of this site are to be respected as good & decent Christian denominations. If you can't do that, then your objectives are not in harmony with the theme of this community.
To clarify, you are free to disagree with doctrine and such, however, calling the administration of any of these churches "wolves" or anything such as this is disrespectful and will not be tolerated.
Here's a snippet of his response to me: "They are indeed wolves in shepherds clothing. They are the most foul of the foul. They purposefully lead the flock astray with false teachings and false docturine. They add what sounds good but is in actuality evil. They go beyond the Word of God for gain which serve only to add to their own power.
Like many I celebrated when Jim Baker and Oral Roberts were exposed as frauds and stripped of their power to further fleece the flock. I hoped to see they same from the catholic church when they commited the evil against children for which they are guilty. Unlike the protestants churches which you catholic continue to heap scorn upon the catholic churches covered they guilt and refused to repent of their evil. And they did so with the full support of the highest levels of the catholic leadership including Bispop John Paul.
You lecture me for calling out evil? By continuing to support the catholic church there is just as much blood on your hands as there is on the bishop of rome."
Obviously, he disregarded anything I said about being civil on the forums... and furthermore, him choosing to make this whole situation a "public issue" was also inappropriate.
Scott, rest your soul... people are praying for you... then one day when you're ready to tone down with the disrespect, come back and see us. This is my fault for not following my gut feeling in the first place.
