Default Faux Spirituality

When a ministering Church falls into question

The term ‘fake’ is thrown around a lot these days, and for good reason. For those seeking spiritual enrichment, it arrives as confirmed from the pulpit of the sound and un-sound, but it shouldn’t be that hard to decipher which one is being presented after 5-or-10-minutes of the speaker’s delivery.

These workers of error shouldn’t be too hard to spot even without knowing all the assoc scriptures to counter with. Some of their many suggestions to look out for such as “Altered States” or “Increase” of the many ways spirituality can impact the senses.

Some of these things they teach may even include things that are recorded in the Bible as truly being used by God, such as the harmony in a person’s life,
“, , it is hard for you to kick against the pricks.” - Acts 26:14
These aren’t that frequent. But go and find a good long list that speaks of their claim to increase of change and compare that with the Bible’s overview and see what remains? Basically, the non-Christian list amounts to glorifying self and not God.

That is why you won’t find the seeker being advised to put on the whole armor of God in dealing with their perspective because it doesn’t deal in God’s will against sin, just a “journey” of self-enrichment.
"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” - Matthew 6:33
When it is God that brings about change from the toils of sowing spiritually, it will have Jesus at the forefront, with joy, peace and the armor close behind. And the armor is used in conflict, and peace is very much a part of that conflict,
“Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal
that has come on you to test you, as though
something strange were happening to you.”
- 1 Peter 4:12

Hi, pryz.
I use two parameters to expose 'questionable' churches...
The first...how long does it take for them to ask for money.
The second...how long does it take for them to say that no man can be free from sin.

Hello there! A warm welcome to the forum!

Please don’t let that be dampened by my concern for your comment’s need for a Third parameter, ,

Acts 20:27, winnowed with the maturity of Hebrews 6:1 and established with the longevity of Ephesians 6:13, , however it were to be worded.
“For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.”

“Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, , “

“, , take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

We are al sinners and we all sin.

Forgiveness is free, if we confess and repent, but we still sin

I hope I haven’t succeeded in clouding the issue of the deception here; it’s just another one from Satan’s bag-of-tricks to reason away those with less than sure footing in the word of God.

There are other things to do this than what I’ve described in the OP. Take, dreams for example. Dreams can also be hijacked because of its presence in the scriptures when dealing with mankind although a Christian's life still can be, but if you look at those characteristics as described, you shouldn’t experience any difficulties in determining the source.

For all their purported methods of attaining “peace” has nothing at all to do with the kingdom of God’s peace because it still goes back to who's giving glory to what; man or God?

The other thing to keep in mind is the true danger in all this methodology to the "spiritual", that there is a lure of underestimating the “harmless” ability of the familiar spirit’s power to seduce one into the sect once you have acted on curiosity, ohh do beware!

What Happened When This Supermodel
Turned to the Wrong Spiritual Dimension for Healing

3:00PM 10/27/2018
International model Lea DiNonno rejected God after she didn't get a response to her prayer from healing and turned to New Age practices like meditation and channeling. Through these practices, she says she met spirit guides—whom she now knows were demons—who at first helped her and then began making demands and terrorizing her. Eventually, she reached a breaking point and turned back to Jesus. Watch the video for her full testimony.

No question about it, we could stand a sharpening of our determined parameters of rest and vigilance.

In today’s post-truth world’, mistakes, and more precisely, doctrinal mistakes move about freely with their authors feet never really being ‘held to the fire’. Critical reviews on those lesser infractions barely leave a mark while the more blatantly erroneous “Strange-Fire” and the rogue over-critical authors of the “Name it Claim it” movement pump out more and more lucrative teaching videos on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. More than enough capital to further impose spiritual carnage, namely, the removal of our estate in the liberty and strength in Him.

What name might we place on these authors’ liberty to foster such un-checked teachings? I wouldn’t be so concerned with that nearly as much as I would the strange unity they all share.

The two above yet well-known examples I gave for instance may not fully agree with each other, but both wish to refuse portions assigned to the Christian we have clear liberty to enjoy. This explains how the more subtil critique of the "Name it Claim it" is pronounced as in error, error identified and the creation of an exaggerated error of its own.

The over-correction therefore is held in place by spiritual and doctrinal bias and continues to thrive and be nurtured in my view, by the absence of soundness’ concerted voice – you the Church.

All Holy Ghost promoted, full-gospel thoughts welcome, thanks!
