Default Sex Offender? (pt.1)

(B4 script, please forgive any misspellings)

My intent here is to tackle a hot topic, break it down, open it up for discusion, expose the truth, discredit myths,
heal, & cure all who willing participate in this discusion.
As Christians or persons of faith we must know,
people fear & hate what they do not understand.
We also need to understand to forgive, heal, cure, & bless wicketness.

So, here's my question & topic for discussion.
Sex Offender
What does it mean to you or make you feel when you hear those words?
First off I know it stirs alot of emotions, most commonly fear & hate.
But what does it really mean?
Well there are literal, liberal, technical, Bibical, social, & legal definitions.

Literal, Liberal, & Technical
One who offends sex, the nature & act of sex.
Then this then raises' the question of difenition of "SEX".
To some will define "SEX" as the nature of being Male or Female.
While others would say "SEX" is the sexual act commited between the two.
So, in the definition, any act commited that would offend or violate the nature of being Male or Famale
& or the sexual act between the two would be a "Sexual Offense" & the person who commited the violation
would be a "Sex Offender".

Bibical
I don't know the specific book(s), chapter(s), sentence(s) in the bible it defines this but from my understanding is
that "SEX" is for 2 purpose's
1.) for "mariage" between Man & Woman
2.) to pro-create, beget, & have offspring
So, by this definition then anyone having sex for anyother reason would be
a "Sex Offender"

Social
Here's where it get's distorted & misconstured. Although most of social & legal definition agree with each other,
SOCIETY fail to relize the laws apply to them until it does. It's like kudies.
Many societies tolarte & even participate in many non legal aspects until one is caught, arrested, & or convicted.
Then the outcast is shunned by the by the same demons even they do the same.
Another mass misconception is societies fast assumption to assume the worst in people who have been labeled
an outcast & shunned by the legal system, espescially with the label "Sex Offender".
Why do people do this? It's becuase many people if not one themselfs know other people who have or do act out
in socially accepted sexual ways.
Thus in self deffense to justify who is or is not a "Sex Offender" we have to assume, accuse,
point the finger at a worse offender then of those we would & do accept & forgive.

Legal
The legal definition, the most powerfull govern, rule, & law of man on earth. Between believers & non believers.
The legal definition of "Sex Offender" is anyone who violates the criminal codes of government, federal, state, county,
& city laws & ordenaces. Although pretty much the same anywhere but are different in every state on
the handling of punishement for such law violators.

Now that sum facts & definitions have been laid out.
I ask again what does "Sex Offender" mean to you
& make you feel when you hear those words?
Please post with any relivent scriptures to this topic as possible, but not limited to.

There is a thread here called "sexual morality". That thread may be more suitable for this topic...

I have a deep seated unease about the definition and prosecution of 'Sexual offense'

Man has been 'given' a natural sexual urge that is sufficiently strong to ensure the survival and expansion of his species.

That urge will be stronger in some men than in others.

Ideally the difference between a man and a dog in terms of sexual urge will be the ability to subordinate the urge to a moral code.

But there will be occasions where a man's sexual urge will be greater than his ability to subordinate it to the moral code.

And the difference between a man who 'offends' and a man who complies may often be nothing more than the factor of 'opportunity'

I often feel "there but for the grace of God go I"

In enforcing the moral code it is very difficult to know how to evaluate the above factors; and to a large degree no appreciation of the need to do so.

I have tremendous sympathy for many convicted offenders.

Very difficult subject.

I am touched by your insightfull & interlictual response here.
I agree with everything you've said here.
But there is a second, third, & so on side here that should never be overlooked nor forgotten.
God bless you for you empathy & simpathy on be half of the "offender".
Although I am discomforted by the assumption of "MAN" as the carnal enemy.
"Women" are just as much guilty of this sin as "MAN".
For we are all sinners who fall short of the glory of God.
But the 2nd side or alternate side here (not to label numerical significance)
But that of the side of the "victum".
Do we all not have the right to not be 'victums" of sexual abuse?
Absolutly, we all have that right.
Yet at the same time most "victums" & "offenders" are in the same boat.
Most just so happen to get on that boat at different times.
But then again one could argue that
"Aren't offenders victums of their own demise & sin?".
To that I say YES.
I am reminded of Ephesian 6:12 here!
