I'd like to revise this as my first version put too much blame on one party. Men and women should always dress modestly, but I feel that society today encourages lustful and sometimes prideful behavior. Why is it stylish to show so much skin all the time? Also, why is it encouraged to act pridefully IF you happen to be "hot"? Such things make it so much easier for people to indulge in lust or envy (sin).

I'd also like to reflect on how words like "bad" or "naughty" or "sinful", I don't know about you but it get's pretty old after a while to see those used in a positive context. I mean it's obviously an attempt to make sexual immorality seem "bad" (as in good) rather than bad (as in detestable). It's simply ridiculous.

Any other speculations? Feel free to share.

We As The Body Of Christ Who Have Found Our Sufficiency In Christ Are The Ones Whom The Holy Ghost Will Use To Combat These Forces Of Evil That The Prosperity Movements Has Allowed To Enter Into The Church/home Of Many Fine Christian Familys That Live In Isolation/fear/shame At How The Enemy Has Ravaged

Has anyone watched a cartoon lately? Has anyone observed the numerous video games out there? Has anyone seen the selection of dolls and toys for little girls? Has anyone observed the "G" rated films with their hidden sexual innuendos in them (not to mention the violence)? Has anyone seen the selection of clothing thrust on little girls to imitate all of the above? At age 3 and 4 little girls wants tshirts with a rock star on it instead of tinkerbell. Innocence is taken away from children at an earlier and earlier age. Parents are told that children shouldn't have play guns and pretend to "shoot" one another because that is bad yet those same parents allow video games with graphic details of shooting, robbing and careless behavior baby sit their children on a daily basis. Foul language is an everyday occurrence and trashy behavior is a norm--someone lets their children out of the house dressed the way they are dressed--so I ask whose fault is all of this and what can possibly be done to put innocence back into mainstream America?

Whos fault? - mainly ignorant people who fall into fads/fashion trends that are usually adulterated. Foul language? - blame mainstream radio and television. Violent video games? - mainly the parents fault for being ignorant and letting their child play that garbage.

A solution? Sigh, I'm afraid there really is no solution to ignorance.. if this madness ever does stop it will have to do with parents being more responsible and vulgarities being banned from mainstream television, radio, and video games. Maybe if people knew the damage being done and innocence being lost the problem would be solved faster..

Or so I thought. I have heard of the unforgivable sin... which I thought all was forgiven when we repent. And why would there only be seven deadly sins and not a lot more?

The seven deadly sins are just categories of sins; ANY sin can be classified as either greed, envy, wrath, lust, gluttony, sloth, or pride.

If we are in Christ rather than being in the world, then He will overcome all lust and pride in us. This is the answer for the individual and for the group. Unfortunately, we can only work on ourselves by surrendering to Him. For others, we can only pray for them that God might open a door in their hearts so that they might begin to see and ask for His help as well. God help our nation and our world!
