 A new bear on the block
Hello!
I was pointed in the direction of this forum by a Catholic friend who is brave enough to engage in a conservative evangelical forum I also post on. As for me, I'm a "doesn't-really-fit-very-well-in-a-box" sort of Christian. Became a Christian at university at the start of the 90's, spent many years believing ardently in Calvinist theology, but my doctrine has been going through a lot of change in the last 2 or 3 years, and I'm going through the difficult process of re-examining an awful lot of what I have been taught "the Bible says....". Currently at an Anglican church, a fairly "low down the candle" one, mildly charismatic, and I have personally been feeling led down a more contemplative line.
One of my passions is for unity in the church, and this forum appealed to me due to the diversity of denominations represented. I don't know how much time I will have to post here, as I am busy with a stressful job and also caring for my disabled wife.
That's enough about me, I look forward to some interesting discussions.
