Misplacing eyeglasses is seriously an issue when you are busy in your life and your eyesight is very week. So better to keep another pair of glasses into another place, which you can get easily whenever you lost your first pair.

I have glasses at each of the following locations: at home: bedroom, dining room, living room, bathroom, cellar.
Also in car, and at camp: living room, sun-porch, storage shed.
Most are cheap reading glasses, too worn for much reading. I have several other pairs I can't bring myself to discard; I'm debating whether to add them to my golf cart, my fishing tackle box, camo bedroom, more???
Is this dementia?
