We are told a great truth by our lord. A kingdom divided cannt stand. A heart divided is in deep danger. Sitting on the fence spiritually is humpty dumpty waiting to happen.

We must realize the kingdom is within us. Is your kingdom "divided"? Is it part flesh and part spirit? Is your heart found the same way, part of it in the world, and its pleasure, sports, fashion, houses and lands, boats and cars, money, stocks and CD's, and yet, part is seeking God's everlasting kingdom?

If so, there is angst in your spirit, a dis-rest, an unease, is there not? You try to pray, but heaven is more often than not quiet, correct? You want to be used by God, and yet the cost personally is high and the part loving the world fights against it. I have been there, and it is not a fun place to be. Nor is it a place God desires you stay.

There is coming a shaking, dear friends, and rest assured, it will leave not one soul on the fence. All will be shaken to one side or the other. The question is...which side will you fall on?

I am sure most will say...when push comes to shove, I am all on Jesus side. What we do not understand, is that as we continue to walk in worldliness and sin, the sins might be covered by the blood of the lamb, but what we remain ignorant of is that deception comes with the sin, no matter how small. And deception grows.

We must never underestimate our enemy. He has one goal. To take you with Him to His eternal punishment. And he has had thousands of years of practice to hone his skills at lies and deceptions. He is good at what he does, very good.

If you choose to remain on the fence, there is risk, great risk, because we are told that there is coming a great falling away. I do not believe there is a 50-50 chance even if there are only two sides to the fence. The time to climb off the fence is now. 100% saved. 100% Jesus.

The question is how do you die to self? How do you get victory over the flesh? How do you become 100% His?Do you just make the decision? It will not be done. If it would be just trying harder, would you have not done it already? These is a missing ingredient to learning how to die to self.

So what is it? How do you die to self and get off the fence of wavering? Do I counsel you to get stronger, resist sat and try harder? Fast? Pray? No.

Do you remember the chinese finger puzzle with the woven straw tube you insert your fingers in and then try to get out of? I may be dating myself here, LOL. Anyway, when you pull, the harder you yank, the tighter the straw woven mat tightens around your fingers. Try as you might, make new resolutions, getting out of self is like that finger puzzle, and satan simply tightens his grip.

So what is the secret to dying to self? Let go. Give it up. Realize you do not have the strength to do so, nor the willpower to see it through to the end. Self cannot cast out self. We must not get stronger. WE must get weaker, weak unto death. We must admit to God we simply cannot walk the walk in our own strength. We must get to the point we have zero faith in ourselves to be able to free ourselves by faith. God must be ALL of our hope, and trust me, He will NOT disappoint you.

It cannot be a 50-50 partnership with God. It cannot even be 90-10 with God doing most of the work. If that is the case, self still exists, the flesh is still ruling and reigning. It must be 100%-0%. We must finally see we have no strength to die to self and that our God must do it all for us....and He will.

Has He not said, "It is to them who have NO strengh He increases might?"

We have been tricked by our enemy to believe we can be in the flesh and in the sprit at the same time, in varying percentages. It is a lie. God said this to the born again saints.

"You are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the spirit of God dwells in you."

What is our testimony about ourselves? Have we finally learned the lesson that in us dwells NO GOOD THING? have we truly understood that ALL OF OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS is as filthy rags? Until we do, we will camp out on the fence between heaven and hell, risking our very souls.

It is time to decide, brother. A choice is required, sister. Some will say, I am trusting God to lead me, and when it is time, He will. It is a lie from the pit. God is calling you NOW. God has been calling since the book of Acts, and we have simply not wanted to hear. It is time, and the world is fixing to come apart at the seems. Do not trust in the rapture to rescue you from your perch atop the fence of indecision. To do so risks your very soul. Our hearts, 100% of our hearts must be longing for His appearing.

Let us learn the lesson of Lot's wife, who when leaving the wickedness of Sodom, which had been her home for years, she longingly looked back and found her heart pulled onto the wrong side of the fence.

I fear, many who call themselves Christians, determined to show God they love Him by their diligence and dedication, have never learned the lesson that

"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain which try to build it."

How few there are who are willing to humble themselves and admit to God that after all their years in walking the walk, they have but wood and hay and stubble. I fear for their souls. Will they be saved, God alone knows. I know this though.

"The heart is deceitful above all things and who can know it?"

Children of God, do not trust yourself. Trust God alone. Lean on His goodness and his strength to change you, to fill you, to keep you, to kill you and let Him live 100% in your heart.

"Faithful is He who calleth you, who also will do it."

Actually Keith you bring up a very good point. The fence is in our hearts. You are either in the flesh or in the spirit, there is no true fence. But we inwardly try to balance with one foot in the world and one in heaven, and our awkwardness, thinking we can do both, when it simply is not possible.

Jesus said "You are either for me or agaisnt me", it is one or the other. May God open spiritual eyes to see the deepness of this truth. Thanks for the encouragement and wisdom, my fellow laborer.
