maneuvers to instill a level of exposure for ones own forces, to what
those basics they might face may be.

In the true fog of war, the best laid plans often can fall apart in the
detail of preparation.
In ancient times it was often how soon to wheel in the cavalry or the
reserves to help offset the enemy’s best.
In modern times it’s all about having the most information as to what
the potentiality is that the enemy can afford to sacrifice @ a specific
local.
And still it can all fall apart, if a few good men fail @ heart due to
bad leadership’s calls.

FRONT, until some unexpected ideas entered the fray which slowly helped
garner more time to strengthen the grim determination.

Endless Sunday roll calls, Psaltry revelry, endless classroom lessons
and the occasional summertime maneuvers- the summer camps where
we try to put into play a staged maneuver.
We love to parade in our suits and finery, we love to hold those ritual
observances, Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving and many others.
We love to institutionalize our marshal law and rule, we salute our esteemed
higher ups while we listen to their extolled words of praise to boast
our edginess, but still we are losing ground, as we witness one leader
after the next come tumbling down, proven that they are all just
painter wannabies.
Are we not for a lack of a better term in boot camp, or some form
of preppy partying fraternity now?

It’s been quiet on the western front because we have been fraternizing
with the enemy. We trade with our enemy for excuse and excesses we
so love and desire.
We don’t even know the face of the enemy anymore, but who cares eh,
so long as our zone remains QUIET in our front.

Do we care how we look in our maneuvers? Do we care how we look
down on others in our maneuvering, as we sing our marching anthems
and recite those ego boasters and yet when a SHELL comes whistling
in, we all collectively DUCK DOWN and sit about stunned waiting for
the horseflies to buzz again sounding the all clear.

To see if the armed can maneuver so as not to be outflanked, then
encircled to be wiped away peacemeal.

People it’s fine to maneuver, just don’t get lost in your endlessly staged

Were those unprepared welcomed in from their sloth, all because it

I find it a trend that posts like yours (preachy ones) tend to be heavily laden in the rabble rousing department...but mostly lack any rational arguments or real suggestions.

A few questions...firstly you make many references in your prose to the "true enemy". You then label the true enemy as complacency. Well that seems like a bit of an over simplification. What problems in the Church do you view as the ones that are fueling the "enemy"? Progressive churches? Gay rights? Legal abortions? The rise (and still rising) trend of Atheism and Freethinking?

You also imply that not enough Christians have the convictions to carry out what truly needs to be done. Well...what in your opinion is that? What are we to do? Are we all to convert to the "Saved" crowd?
Not all of us believe the bible to be 100% true...and for good reason. There are some very unnerving passages (especially in the OT) in addition to the good ones we all know and love.

I found this passage rather unsettling. Do you mean to imply that a Holy War is on the horizon? That global conflict is going to erupt as Christians and people of other faith struggle to decipher what Gods will is? Do you want this to happen, so that we may defeat the "enemy"? This passage was probably the most disturbing of all to me. "we shall strike if they don't recant fighting what is our RULE and our LAW"??? I'm sorry but I live in America (as i assume you do) and in AMERICA the BIBLE is NOT the LAW of the land. The US Constitution, which I will love and support to my death, clearly establishes this as a secular nation, and clearly says that the Constitution, not the bible, will be the "SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND". (direct quote from the constitution) Frankly sir, I find the belief that the bible should take this position instead of the Constitution to be hanus, and unpatriotic.

I have many non-religious friends, and we talk frequently about topics just such as this. It is posts like this, that make them fear us theists, make them envision us taking up arms, going to "war" in an effort to save the country from what some of us would call blasphemy...while others call it progressive thinking. I always calmly assure them that, no, the average Christian is not going to pick up arms against anyone...because that is exactly the OPPOSITE of what Jesus taught. If we are found to be fighting against God will we not most definitely lose?

Are not these words of Gamaliel, Paul's non-Christian teacher good advice?

"And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God." Acts 5:38-39

I always calmly assure them that, no, the average Christian is not going to pick up arms against anyone...because that is exactly the OPPOSITE of what Jesus taught. But then again...once in awhile I come across something like this, and it makes even me wonder..........

Hopefully the following verse is not one of those that you disbelieve!

"He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal." John 12:25

Mark, I am a bit confused. As Christians, we are told we are strangers and pilgrims in this earth, and that this is not our home, but we seek one to come. We are told not to love the world, or to put all of our hopes and dreams here in this life, or we will lose in the end.

You say you find it disturbing that God's rule should be left for Sunday and let man's rule reign supreme, supported by your very life? Have we not seen that the world is in the mess it is in becasue of man's rule? You are willing to die for a cause of man, but to lay down your life for your master who died for you is heinous and "unpatriotic"?? The day is coming when you will have a clear-cut choice who you will follow. It may seem to you your following both ways is working fone for youy, but apprearances can be exceptionally deceiving. You may save your neck for a season with your patriotic valour, but in the end, it will be far batter to be counted with those who seek first and only their heavenly home.

Your choice is the same exact choice facing every one of us...Him or us. Shall we save our life and lose it, or lose our life for His sake and find what we have sought all along. The separation is coming and our choice is at the door......

You are looking at the symptoms and bypassing the cause, which PASHA did not miss, but which you dismiss as "oversimplification". Do you think that Jesus was only speaking of those peope who were living on the planet in the land of natural Israel of 2000 years ago with these words?

"For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." Matt 13:15

People have always been and still are as He described them.

And do the ones you know and love include chapters 5,6 and 7 of Matthew and the 14th chapter of I Corinthians?

Instead of concentrating on what we have that is good, why not concentrate on what we do not have that is good and what we do have that is evil?

Pontius Pilate asked, "What is truth?" Most people who are named as Christians still do not know the answer to his question.





It is not the bible that PASHA speaks but the Word of God. Probably not many Doctors of Divinity really know the difference. One is dead while the other is Life.

What belongs to Caesar and what belongs to God?

So, without regard to patriotism, is it then your opinion that the U.S. Constitution should be obeyed before God's Word?

Would you obey the U.S. Constitution if doing so would cause you to fall short on the two greatest commandments?
