I think it's an interesting story... but here's my take on it....

"If" the story is really true, then it only proves the boy possessed knowledge that required "super-natural intervention"... it does not prove the boy was reincarnated.

It could be as simple as God wanted this story told so He gave the boy knowledge about this dead pilot's life - and He did it in such a way that it got the attention of the media....

*Of course, the entire thing could just be smoke - a ploy to sell a book... yes, crazier things have happened.

I think this story should simply remind people that there is more to this world than science can measure with an instrument.

The Church also recognizes that there is satan and his demons, who more than anything else, wish to destroy man through false belief. This seems like a prime example.

Yes this is tempting isn't it? But Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment"

Anybody ever read, "Embraced by the Light?" I'd be interested to talk to anyone who has read it.

Preacher girl, it has been appointed for man to die once and then judgement. But you need to think about that statement a little. If you die and you are judged, then when the end comes you are resurrected and then you have lived twice before you are judged. See the problem?

Here is when you died, you died with christ.

There are several more problems with the live once die once theory. If jesus comes back for his bride, when half of her is in heaven, and the other half is on earth, then he is coming back for a part of his bride.

Another problem is this, if we have endured till the end we will be saved. What if you are not on the earth to endure till the end?

Another problem is...IF we have suffered with him we shall also share his glory. Many have not suffered tribulation and are dead. NO glory for them then?

Another problem is this....if we die and go to heaven, then we are with jesus right? Why be resurrected, reinstroduced into a body just to go back there?

And if people are already in the lake of fire, then why pluck them out of it, resurrect them, judge them , and send them back from where they came?

Ok, I am thinking. There is a second death spoken of. I don't doubt that we do not really know all things as God did obviously shut some things up and I'm sure has not shown us all. Elijah didn't die, and a point there, he didn't die. Is it The Tribulation we have to suffer to "suffer with him?"

Hi preachergirl. I know that i cant wait for him to return. And i do not wish to die before i have matured, and i kind of have a feeling neither does god. I know that paul said that when jesus returns he shall be changed in a twinkling of an eye. Well he isnt around to be changed....unless he will be. Paul also said that he is labouring to present the bride a pure virgin for the bridegroom Jesus. Is he doing that from heaven? Could be. I believe that the only people in heaven are the martyres, and people like elijah and moses. The rest of us, like abraham is in paradise. I kind of feel that there is no need to hang around in paradise for too long. We are children of the day the bible says, and as long as it is day, we must work in the kingdom. It would be strange if god want some of us to bear the brunt of the burning sun, while others live it up in paradise. LOL... When the night comes nobody can work. Night/darkness comes when jesus returns.

All i know, is that jesus said...'this generation will not pass untill all these things together have taken place'. The generation of his day has died, and not all of it has taken place. So, it seems to me, that the first generation shall be the last here on earth. And all the workers together are here, until the master comes to give them their reward.
