Default I want your opinion as to how to turn the churuch around. Any takers?

Many here will admit that there is something wrong with our church today. I am not talking about a spiritual tune-up being needed. I am talking engine overhaul.

The question is .....HOW? How do we get the church to be without spot or wrinkle?

I am curious as to if you agree with this premise and if so, what do you think your solution to the problem looks like. Care to dive in? The only bad opinion is one not shared.

Well Bruce, anytime anything significant happened in the Bible to change things it is preceded by prayer or prayer and fasting. In fact I believe that nothing will happen without this as it is biblically founded. What say you?

I think it would start in one's heart, once that is done then we would see a change in our church.
But then again was the children of Israel with out spot or wrinkle? or any of the churches that Paul started? Just my thinking here Bruce, But it would be hard to find such a church, I know when we are on the road singing, we see alot of different churches, and we do see a lot of problems in some, We have people that leave our church because they dont like the way things are going, but where ever you go you can find problems if you look hard enough.

There is 1 truth..there is 1 church. look up church in the yellow pages and count how many you see.

The answer to your question is for all of Gods children to throw away their pride and seek God in a real and serious manner. All denominations cant be right. This should make the hairs on your neck stand up. It does to me.

There is 1 truth and in my opinion all denominations hold a part of that truth, but none hold it all.

We need to earnestly seek the truth without the beliefs that were learned from a denominations interpretation of scripture.

I think we would find that we are all real close. but close is not the whole truth.

Which "church" are you referencing here, Bruce? The one man has build for 2000 years or the one God has been building for 6K?

Christ is the ONLY one who makes us righteous (without spot or wrinkle) by His sacrifice on the cross. We can't do that ourselves..

I agree with you completely. I've never believed that a single church or denomination has it %100 right %100 of the time. I don't think that as humans we have the capability to, but that's just my little off-branch of what you said.
