Warm greetings, thanks for your first!

I tend to combine every worthy associate of the Lord’s time on earth, such as Nathanael and John the Baptist among others, however remote, disciples.

Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” (Jn 1:46)

Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” (Matt 11:3)

Personally, JTB.

John the Baptist is a pretty good guess. He was preaching about Jesus before he even met him.

Good to see the replies and thanks for the welcome.

I would contend that it was his mother....The Blessed Virgin Mary

Very little is said about her in the gospels, but that is want she wanted. She didn't want to take away from her son. She is a very humble and loving mother and filled with the Holy Spirit. Very strong bond between Jesus and his mother.

Of course! Mary! (Slapping my forehead) Why didn't I think of that. Good call.

All true. She knew who and what he was before he was even born, and she and Joseph were there (obviously) when the Magi presented their Kingly gifts to the newborn king.
