I have actually watched 2 hours of this video and have 45 minutes to go... so far, it's an interesting debate (natural evolution verse young Earth creationist). To my surprise Ken Ham (the creationist) makes some good points about the flaws of natural Evolution. He pushes the idea that species can adapt and change over time but do not actually change into different species (dogs will always produce dogs). What is so disappointing, however, is when he starts pushing the whole "Earth is only 6,000 years old"
deal into the debate.... after you hear that, the baby truly goes out with the bath water. It's just very hard to take anything else he says serious.
It would be so much better if we could focus on the flaws associated with 'natural evolution' without incorporating in the whole 'young Earth' thing. How many Christians really believe the Earth is only 6,000 years old? Why do they believe this? Written history goes back further than this Bill Nye Debates Ken Ham - YouTube
