I live about an hour and a half from the home of Joseph Smith and were the Hill Cumorah pageant is held each July. For those of you who don't know about this, the pageant is a beautiful, truly breath taking production that tells the story of the beliefs of the Mormon religion and is held on the hill where Joseph Smith received the plates that were translated into the Book of Mormon. I have gone several times and there are buses from every town around here that take folks down for the performance. It is held in the evening outdoors on the hillside and the production rivals anything I've ever seen come out of Hollywood. I especially like the thunder and lightening: big booms and flashes!

Anyway, the pageant starts July 10th this year and since Jesse has never been, I thought I'd post a web of pictures for everyone to enjoy.

Awesome! Thanks NFY. I would love to see that pageant someday. I've seen the Manti pageant in Utah, which is a similar production, but the Hill Cumorah one is a larger production for sure. Thanks for posting. My mom was able to attend when she was a teen... closest I've ever been.
