I am fairly certain that I stated that all apostles are disciples, but not all disciples are apostles. With regard to the original Apostles and your "Jimmy Carter" example, it is pointless. Someone can retire. It just so happens that the original 12 did not, and St. John reposed as an active apostle at the end of the 1st century/beginning of 2nd (ca. 100AD). All my points stand firm with evidence, whether you acknowledge them or not.

“He sees it as a philosophical issue. The approach to faith seems to be that the groundwork needs to be laid first with rational arguments and then scripture can come in. But first a platform needs to be built for scripture to come in so that people can be persuaded by it.” Phil Johnson, Executive Director of Grace to You, upon the death of Ravi Zacharias, May 19th, 2020
Ravi’s appeal reached deep and wide throughout Christendom, the ‘in season, out of season’ sensitivities that run through us would have to say we parted with Ravi in recent times (above and below):
Sadly, while Zacharias had many good years of ministry, he spent much of his later years deconstructing Christianity and joining the rank-and-file social justice branch of Christendom and the likes of The Gospel Coalition and other sub-biblical movements. – Christian Research Network

Not really. If you had quoted the entire post, Father Linsinbigler goes on to say

However, Ravi has rejected Roman Catholicism and Orthodoxy, which are the only two ones that state "we should be together." Protestantism states "it is ok that we are apart." Therefore, the only response that Ravi has is the response that he gave...........
What ravaged his perspectives? Protestantism, the divisive bane of Christianity.
