Default Age difference

For anyone to answer..what do you all think of a twenty year old male and a thirty-four year old female dating each other? My family doesn't agree with it,even though they both attend a babtist church.

For adults age has no bearing on love

I don't think age matters. My husband and I have been married for 12 years this December and we are very very happy and he is a wonderful stepfather. He is 8 years younger than I am.

Why do your family not agree with it? How is it affecting them? I would have thought peoples concern would extend only as far as general compatibility and a prospect of happiness from a loving and caring point of view, but beyond that I wouldn't have thought it of anyone elses business.

I say God bless her because men are really immature; especially at that age. That's the only issue that I have with dating men my age or younger, the maturity level, but wouldn't be opposed to it if he were mature.

Age is only one factor in a relationship so age alone shouldn't be a defining problem although 14 years is a big difference. When you are 10 then 24 is old but when you are 50 then 64 doesn't seem that big of a deal. I would only hope that anyone considering marrying anyone with that age span at least think long and hard about it, acknowledging all of the pros and cons of the age issue first, but in the end it must be their decision alone. If you are only dating then these problems are even less of an issue and unless there is something else about the relationship that isn't represented here then I don't think anyone else should have a say in it.

I CAN RELATE IM 21 AND MY HUSBAND IS 29 I GOT MARRIED AT 20 AND SO FAR WE HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR A YEAR AND I FEEL PERSONALLY THAT IT SHOULDNT MATTER WHAT OTHERS THINK THEY WILL TALK ABOUT YOU WHETER YOUR SINGLE OR DATING. YOUR THE ONE WHO HAS ACCEPTED THE RELATIONSHIP SO IT IS YOURS. AT THE END OF THE DAY THEY WILL HAVE THERE LIVES AND YOU WILL HAVE YOUR HAPPINESS. IF THEY PERSECUTED THE SON OF GOD THEN JUST KNOW THE SAME GOES FOR US. LOVE IS LOVE. IT IS THE SAME LOVE THAT MAKES US BLIND, HURT, KILL, STEAL, AND GIVE, WE ARE SAVED BECAUSE OF LOVE. THE AGE DOSNT HAVE A MEANING UNLESS YOUR HITTING PERVERSION STATUS OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD CONTINUE TO DO WHAT OUR LORD REQUIRES US TO DO. AND THAT IS TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER DESPITE THE ADVERSITY. LOL IF IT WORKS OUT GOD BLESS AND IF IT DONT REMEMBER THAT ITS NOT FOR BAD BUT FOR GOOD AND THAT YOUVE LEARNED SOMETHING IN THE END.

Yeah, the most important thing is love.
I am older than my husband too.
But our relationship is wonderful so far.
All depends on the couple's love.

I have a problem with these old men, 60's - 80's marrying women in their 20's & 30's. Of coarse we know why they do marry these old men, money!
