LHWES, when I first came home from the hospital. I didnt have enough breath in me to pray to God, and I,m one of them that have to pray aloud to myself. So I went to writing my prayers down, and God answered every prayer every request I asked HIM. I still have them and read them, but I can Pray out loud again. Now I dont pray aloud for someone to hear me, but it helps me keep on track There is verses in the bible on writing down your prayers, I dont know where it is but its there. |

I did and its works, or it did for me. I sit down now. |

You know most of these icons really scare me. except the few I use, and the one Mark made for me, well I think God told him to, so praise God, bless you Mark!
No, I think its awesome to keep that prayer book, I quite often pray for something, pray only once and give it to the Lord, and then I will be like to my daughter, HEY, do you see that? wow they are going to church! and she will be like, HELLO mother, you prayed for that! and I will be like, O did I? lol, so ya thats a great idea!
Another great idea, is I beleive God wants us all to journal. Just great things the Lord has given you, scriptures, what ever the Spirit guides.
God bless you and you are going to have wwwaaaaaaaaay to much fun, cause you watch and see what the Lord is going to do!WO:

We can talk to Him with our mouths, or we can write a letter to Him, or it can all happen inside of us never coming to the surface where another human would know what we were saying. The communication with God is the important thing.
Writing it down does something that the other two ways do not. It makes a record that you can refer back to... God never forgets, but we humans are not so gifted especially as we get older in this flesh.
Glory to God!

| | Re: Prayerjournal? I think its a powerful tool to have a prayer journal. I would suggest you record the dates with the prayers and also leave a blank space to record how God answered your prayers.
Something like this can only deepen your faith with the Lord. It would also be a great legacy to leave your children after you leave this earth.
What an awesome tool!!! |

I agree if you are keeping it for the right purpose.
I you are keeping it to see how many times God does not seem to answer
your prayers your way then I must disagree.
Sometimes GOD's greast gift is unanswered prayer. Amen | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
