It would be great to talk about those
who have contributed to the environment,
to nature preservation, and to those dedicated
to educating others about this great planet,
a gift to us from God.
Just to get the ball rolling, I'll offer a few
comments on the unsung heroes of the
natural world: Photographers!!!
It never ceases to amaze me at the glorious
wonders brought to us by dedicated
photographers who spend almost endless
time and money to physically go out and capture
the realities of nature. Some results are simply
gorgeous, flowers, clouds, scenery,
Life that is everywhere for our eyes to see.
And that which either we could never see
otherwise, as well as offering new ways to
see what we have seen before, only not
so close and so beautifully.
Thanks to photographers, we have excellent
photos of earth's animal world!
To witness their exquisite beauty and
their entires lives, from young to the
final moments.
These animals were "captured" in the
very best sense of the word. They were
neither harmed in any way nor felt the
intrusions of the enthusiastic guys
with cameras.
This includes the underwater photographers;
they are out chasing after sea life or patiently
(or impatiently, which I think makes it harder)
for special sea creatures to simply appear
for their "close-ups"
Anyone familiar with the history of nature
photographers is very much aware of the
determination and absolute dedication of
these persons just to bring all those
images right into our very lives.
If you have such heroes,
share them here, OK?

Jacques Cousteau showed me about sea life and watching TV I learned about parrots and birds, all kinds. Member Flipper? Free Willy, YAH. Polar bears and penquins. Christian Forums - Social Network
But the best in the whole world: Steve Irwin. He wanted us to see beauty in all living creatures, even the bugs.
It is still taking me a while, working on bugs to like.
And gators. Ooops, sorry, Steve.
We'll always love ya!!!! Karen Christian Forums - Social Network

Great topic Latreia |

Hi Latreia
I agree , There is nothing better than looking back at pictures
of GODs beautiful creation in the comfort of home on a wet, damp
dreary,gloomy,overcast day.
It lifts ones soul to see the exquisite detail and its own unique
design, all the same yet all special in its own way.
The Glory of GOD and His Wisdom and His Creative ability are
truely visible in the things He has made.
Amen.
