The rider on the first horse is the power given to the antiChrist. He will conquer and make peace for 3 1/2 years.

A good parrallel to revelation 6 is mathew 24.

My understanding is that the white horse represents light, illumination, purity, holiness.
Our Redeemer first rides the "white" horse within us to begin the transformation process. It is part of the redemptive process.....Christ must "ride" within us---cleansing, purifying, transforming us into overcomers. When the sin and self will that makes us dead is conquered, then we will ride with him.

He must first ride within us before we can ride with him.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.
His eyes a flame of fire, and on His head many diadems; and He has a name written which no one knows except Himself.
Clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.

The rider is Satan, in his role as Antichrist.

Its Jesus coming to destroy all the nations. This is judgement on the earth!!

Isa 34:6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, [and] with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

Isa 63:1 Who [is] this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this [that is] glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

This is the march of the rainbowed Angel as Jesus comes to Jerusalem from Bozrah and Teman having his clothes dyed in blood.

Act 4:26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, [which] go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

Scripture must agree with scripture !

Psa 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying],

Psa 2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

This is the Mistaken Identity of Jesus.

May God bless your study of His Holy Bible

There are 2 conflicting opinions #1 some are saying that this is Christ who is the rider, and #2 another is saying that this is the Antichrist. Therefore there must either be conflict with understanding the scripture's or the interpretation's that are being used to explain them. I believe that Christ is telling us of a vision of His 2nd Coming, and what will be allowed to conquer the world until He comes. There are 4 Horsemen in this vision all 4 of them are running rampant on the Earth now, conquering to conquer, but who are these riders conquering?

It is with this reply that I'm refering too, because this is not THE CHRIST but what Christ kept warning about in Matthew 24/11;"And many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceive many".These are the event's that these seals unfold, which NO MAN would be able to withstand without the sacrifice of the SLAIN LAMB in Revelations 5/6-12;We are to be worthy as well of this sacrifice for as Christ again outlined in Revelation 3/10;"Because thou has kept the word of My patience,I will also keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world,to try them that dwell upon the earth".It is also the case with the 10 virgins,5 kept that patience to see the Lords Coming, and the other 5 didn't have that patience to see the Lords Coming as He had equipped them, but sought such as themselves to see the Coming of The lord and therefore looked for those that would worship them as they worshiped themselves and their religious views of God/Christ.
We need to be sincerely warned of the dangers of desiring to be worshiped by our spiritual appititude of things that the carnal mind can not recieve, for we are in just as much danger as them if we allow ourselves to be more looked upon than Christ has given us the Grace/Mercy/Peace to establish us toward Him and His soon Coming!
