Default When will Jesus return

Here is what Jesus said about when He returns, "I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord" > Matt 23:39. <---> "I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord." > Luke 13:35. This will not happen until after the great tribulation as Jesus foretold. "For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be. > Mark 13:19. --- "after that tribulation, the sun will be darken, and the moon will not give its light; the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in heaven will be shakened. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory > Mark 13:24 - 26 + Matt. 24:29-31. > The Son of Man will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet together His elect from the four winds, from end of the heaven to the other.

"When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gather before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on His left. Then King will say to those on His right hand, "Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world." > In Matt. 25:31-34.

I like this Mr. Battig 1370, you quoted Scriptures without personal comments. However, your question is left hanging, is it near ? will we have to wait for great tribulation ? how do we know we are in the great tribulation ? How about the imminency of Christ's return ? I am not for speculation but what do we need to do in light of the Scriptures that you just quoted ?

According to Daniel 12, the year would be 2015, if 1948 is the trigger date, or 2035, if 1967 is the trigger date. 1948 was the year that the modern nation of Israel came into existence. 1967 is the year that the temple mount was captured by Israel.

Of course, this calculation does not take into account the shortening of days for the elect's sake.

Watchman,

Refresh my memory... a while ago in a post, you mentioned something about the year 2010 being the end times?

CatholicCrusader

Hi Watchman

I would like to add that it does not say we can not
know the times, the seasons or the month of the end.

So the year should be knowable also. Example ( May 1805 )

Bye for now.

What it says is that you don't know when he's coming. If you can figure out the year then you're figuring too much. If we all knew what year he was coming we could quit our jobs and spend all our bank account money.

But in fact, you do NOT know the hour, or the day, or the year, or the decade, or even the century.

Hi CatholicCrusader

You are half right. Most people won't know.

Only God's faithfull childern will know.

Therefore unless you change you won't.

As in Noah's day, only the faithfull new the end was coming.

And so shall it be again.

Amen.
