Mistaken Identity of Jesus

In previous posts I discussed old testament verses a lot, now lets see if the new testament agrees.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

He was born to be King of the earth, and sit on David's throne in Jeusalem.

Have you never read the meek shall inherit the earth. Thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

He shall reign for ever and ever is a long time, eternity.

Rev 11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

Rev 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs [come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.


Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, [which] go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.


Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.


Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

It is God gathering the nations for destruction.!!



Notice the term used here is Lord God Almighty or He Who shall be Mighty Ones with the Power. Or YHWH Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Finally judgement on those who destroy the earth.

They are punished forever, losing the reward forever, everlasting punishment.

Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

The exact same language from the old testament, written a thousand years apart.

Isa 29:6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire .

The terms used here are LORD of hosts, Or YHWH Tzvaoth, or He Who shall be Mighty Ones, at the head of the beligerant army attacking.

The destruction of the wicked is world wide judgement.

For along time people complain why doesnt God do something to show us He Is there.

Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.


Be afraid, Be very afraid, of He who kills the soul.

If the Lord Jesus Christ does not return soon all life on earth will perish.

Mal 3:18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Those who dont understand who Jesus are being rejected.

Many say He is coming to take them to Heaven, ignoring the scriptures, no one goes to Heaven.
You dont need to go to hell if your wicked, the fire coming to destroy the wicked wont leave anything behind. Thats what the Bible means by destruction by fire.

Rom 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

2Cr 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.

Mat 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

WHAT? I HAVE TO GIVE AN ACCOUNTING OF MYSELF AT THE JUDGMENT SEAT. EVERY IDLE WORD I SPEAK HAS BEEN RECORDED. IM SUNK, I DONT HAVE A CHANCE. I HAVE SAID SOME HORRIBLE THINGS IN MY LIFE.

Jesus said I go to prepare a place for you, that where am I , you will be there also.In my Father's house are many mansions (dwelling places). Paul said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Now question , where is our Lord now ? Where did Apostle John went when it was given to him the messages for the Book of Revelation?.

Another one , from the Book of Revelation, the dragon and the false prophet will be thrown into the lake of fire. What do we call the lake of fire ? and for how long ?

Jhn 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Jhn 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you,................ I will come again,................... and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.

Notice the part you left out , I will come again( to the earth of coarse) So if He comes again He must mean the second coming
That means it will be hear on the earth that He sets His foot on the Mount of Olives , He will gather His saints to Him so we will be with Him In Israel and Jerusalem.

First off its not your fault but everybody misquotes this scripture.

Look closely the differance it makes if you add the words you left out.!
I will come again...... puts a differant light on the meaning of what Jesus is telling us.

So it is saying that He is gone to prepare a place for us, when He comes He brings our reward with Him ! The Judgement seat of Christ takes place and He brings all the people to Him to be judged ! That is when He seperates the sheep from the goats, so.... WHERE HE IS WE WILL BE ALSO....

Now that verse makes sense He returns to the earth and He brings us to Him for Judgement! It fits perfectly with old testament Judgment seat Of Christ.

Dont try to tell me that this says you go to heaven. That is the myth that has been past down through the churches for years.

In point of fact this my favorite verse to prove that Christians mis qoute the Bible.
Someone told you it says we go to heaven so you pass it on.

Those who dont take the time to find out what the Fathers house is will be mislead by unlearned people. In fact Jesus cannot be talking about heaven if you listen
closely we will take this slowly.

So what are mansions I will take the time to look up the dictionary meaning for you
1) a staying, abiding, dwelling, abode.
A more modern translation in todays english is dwellings a place to live.
Jesus does not say It was in Heaven He says........ I go to prepare a place for you........dictionary meaning of place= place, any portion or space marked off, as it were from surrounding space

a) an inhabited place, as a city, village, district

b) a place (passage) in a book

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.


Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Look at these verses in a new light !

The new earth comes with Jesus when He comes!

He has been preparing the new earth for us!

For the meek shall inherit the earth!

Psa 25:13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

Psa 37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Psa 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psa 37:22 For [such as be] blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and [they that be] cursed of him shall be cut off.
What m happens if you die and go to heaven do you come back at the judgment Seat of Christ?
WE are told Father Abraham is in the grave waiting ressurection , how did you get to heaven before Abraham, Isacc, and Jacob?

It is not logical that your Aunt is ahead of Abraham!

Where to begin, I am not a J. W. they refuse to talk with me. When JWs come to my house they leave in less then fifteen minutes arguing between themselves.

I have studied all the religions to see if they have the truth, I read in the Bible.

When I was young they raised me R C . When I got older I drowned in a river and should have died. While I was drowning I prayed , if you save me I will read the Bible.

After they revived me I set out to read the Bible. In the hospital bed next to me was an old man who was reading his Bible.
We became friends and he showed me what the Bible was all about. He had read the Bible every day of his life past down from his father and from his father and so on.

He read the whole Bible ( old testament and new both) 150 times.
No matter what I asked he had a Bible verse to teach me the answer.

He would say lets see what the Bible says. This is why you see me use so many verses to answer any questions.
Personally I have read the whole Bible 55 times. We continue to read 3 chapters a day, every day, this takes you through the Bible in one year.

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Luk 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

My teacher took theses verses to heart and lived his life to study the Bible.

He had no television in his house never went to movies.

He memorized 1/4 of the old testament.

He studied every religion what they believed, and could answer any Bible questions.

So question 1 Where do we go when we die? Lets let Solomon answer that

Ecc 9:3 This [is] an evil among all [things] that are done under the sun, that [there is] one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness [is] in their heart while they live, and after that [they go] to the dead.

The dead are in the grave waiting ressurection.

Jhn 8:53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?

You see to say that we die and go to heaven is foolish when the Bible tells us clearly that Abraham and all the prophets are dead.
He says who do think you are that you recieve your reward before Abraham. It does not fit.

Read the whole chapter of Ecc 9 and Solomon teaches about death.

Question two Where were the saints?

Mal 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, [with] the statutes and judgments.


Mal 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

The Lord Jesus comes like a "thief in the night" and "as lightning were ever eye shall see Him". Both are true first the rapture, then the work of Elijah, then the Judgement seat in Christ takes place.

Mal 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

So lets see if that fits with scripture:
Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Here we see that the whole world will see Him when performs this miracle.

However He came as a thief in the night already to His household of saints who are waiting for there ressurection .
Jesus was sent to the Fathers house first. The nation of Abraham. He comes to the household first and then is revealed to the earth.

Question 3 : This is one of my favorite verses to show Christians how they follow "cunningly devised fables"
2Pe 1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

2Pe 3:16 As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Yes Paul says these things are hard to understand and those who are unlearned in the law and the prophets dont understand these verses and this is one of them.

We must first ask our selves is this a verse that can mean differant things, is it symbolic, ambiguious, metaphoric, like a parable, not to be taken literally.

Explain to me how it is possible to be absent from your body when
Jesus looked exactly the same after resserection as before. When we are changed we will still look the same.

Luk 8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Mat 13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:

He explains why He spoke in parables making things hard to understand on pupose to confuse those who are unlearned in the law and the prophets.

2Cr 5:6 Therefore [we are] always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord

2Cr 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of [this] tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

You must put the verses in the context of the other verses around it , so lets start at verse one . It is a metaphor for life and death. Earthly house isnt an actual house is it. It is a metaphor for our body, symbolic language, a parable meant to be taken differant ways, ambiguious.
He says the house is not made with hands , what kind of house is not made with hands? The house of Abraham.
It is eternal symbolic language.


2Cr 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.
Scripture must agree with scripture a few verses after yours it says we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, what happens do have to come back from heaven to be judged , thats foolish. How did you get to heaven before Abraham and the prophets? It does not fit.

If you look at the verse closley nowhere does it mention heaven in black and white but someone told you thats what it meant.

If we are in the kingdom to come and Jesus is King will we not be absent from this body that dies and we will be with Jesus in the kingdom present with Him as immortals!

Question 4 = Lake of fire=Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Lets see if this is symbolic or a metaphor or ambiguious or a parable. We have to start at the begining of Rev. verse one chapter one=Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John:

If you look closely it tells us the book is written in sign language( signified it by his angel).
Who is the book written to?
Only His servants will understand it we are told it was written for His servants only nobody else can discover the sign code it is written in !!
Revelations is very hard to understand, complicated, sign language, metaphors from the old testament, parables hard to decifer.

For instance are you telling me you know who the beast is, you know the false prophet is,you know who the devil is, you can expain how death and hell are cast down. Or can you see how these things are written in sign language and should not be used to prove anything ..

IF YOU CANT PROVE IT FROM THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS THERE IS NO TRUTH IN IT.

Lake OF FIRE IS SYMBOLIC LANGUAGE HARD TO UNDERSTAND ANGELIC TALK.


Act 13:15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, [Ye] men [and] brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

Act 24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Act 28:23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into [his] lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and [out of] the prophets, from morning till evening.
THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN THE OLD TESTAMENT

LOOK CLOSELY WHAT THE APOSTLES TAUGHT... THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.... THE NEW TESTAMENT WAS NOT WRITTEN YET

Question 6 Wtih Jesus In Heaven or Earth?

He was born to be King of the earth!
WE are told He will sit on the throne of His Father King David in Jersalem!!
The Meek shall inherit the earth!
Thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven!!

Now that begs the question if you here teachers teaching you go to heaven it is sure sign of their Bible knowledge.

Thanks Mr. Joshua 888 for answering my questions. However by your answers you seem to try to prove there is no heaven. I noticed you used Eccl.9:3 and John 8:53, did you look who was talking in John 8:53 ? Thanks for letting me know that you have read the Bible several times and I commend you for that, did you ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand ? If I understand correctly, to say to be absent from the body like Paul said means the person is dead, the soul and spirit left and if they leave where did they go ?

I am curious what your other beliefs are ?
Do you believe in the Holy Trinity? the Deity of Jesus Christ ? the virgin birth? salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ?

Thanks for your questions, it gives me a chance to explain my self.

You may find this hard to believe but I am not allowed in any church. Within 15 minutes they ask me to leave. J W s actually mark my house and are told not to knock on my door. When they do come in my house they leave after 15 minutes arguing about themselves and what they believe or dont believe.

Since all Christian religions believe the same things, when I ask a couple of questions, then they ask me to leave. For instance : Can man kill God? Of coarse not should be your answer! Did man kill God by crucifiction? Of coarse not should be your answer!

We are told clearly no man hath seen God, yet you say ,we saw God, if Jesus is God!
Christians say we die and go to heaven yet the Bible teaches the meek shall inherit the earth!

When I start with these simple questions they start fighting and ask me to leave.

Obviuosly there is a heaven there is no question of this please dont misunderstand what the Bible says, in fact Paul says there are three heavens.. Isaiah says a new heaven is coming . Revelations says ther is a new heaven and earth coming.
....HAVE YOU EVER READ THIS CLEAR EASY TO UNDERSTAND VERSE.....NO MAN HAS ASCENDED TO HEAVEN....!!!

Eze 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

I know it is hard to except these new thoughts however the fable of the soul living on is an old wives tail past down through the ages to make death easier.

EVEN THOUGH CHRISTIANS DISAGREE EZEKIEL SAYS THE SOUL THAT SINS IT SHALL DIE,..... DONT ADD TOTHE WORD.........

What is the sense of gaining eternal life if we already have it?

Solomon the wisest man who ever lived says, the dead no not anything,
they get no reward, so why would you believe your soul goes on?

Ecc 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.


Ecc 9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any [thing] that is done under the sun.

This is hard to except, none the less just in case you think there is something after death Solomon describes in detail they have no portion for ever again in anything.

When your dead your in the grave waiting for ressurection like Abraham, the prophets, King David.
Let me ask you a question when the flame on acandle goes out where did the flame go?

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Would you say it is possible to through death into a fire?
If you say hell is a place of fire already how is it desroyed by the lake of fire?
If this is literal death whats it doing hear, for we are told in Hebrews that Christ destroyed death?
Do you really believe that the beast is a beast or is it symbolic for something else?

Well I break bread and wine each week in a building we dont call a church.

We do not have a minister or priest but anyone can speak on the Bible.

Each week it is the turn of a differant Brother to lead us in Bible discussion, hymns, breaking bread, giving prayers.

Perhaps seven Brothers help at each meeting. We have no public collection. So if you prove it in the old testament from the law and the prophets then we follow that.

We certainly believe in the bread and the wine the sacrifice or our dear Lord Jesus Christ! The bodily return of Jesus to the earth. The kingdom of God to come on earth!

Let me ask you what religion is Jesus Christ?

What religion is the Bible?

What religion is the proper one in the eyes of God? He made his son a Jew!!
I am not a Jew however.

Do you believe in the Holy Trinity?

I will ask you a question in return how many times does it say in the Bible that famous saying said in church ever sunday, God the father, God the son, God the Holy Spirit?
Does this saying appear any where in the old testament?
The answer shocked me when I looked it up.

When we look at these two together they are totally oppossed to each other. If he is God how is it possble a woman was needed to give birth to someone who was already alive as God?

If he was God how did we kill God on the cross God cant die?
Yes salvation is through the Lord Jesus Christ, Iam the way and the truth and the light!

The answer to the above is Jesus is 100% man and 100 % God. Because of His humanity , he was able to be seen and can die and have died. The virgin birth is to keep Him pure as a human being (unblemish sacrifice), a human father could have contaminated him.

There are many Scripture verses that prove Jesus Christ is God: they are Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1 and following, the book of Revelation. I am sure with your knowledge of the Bible you will be able to find them. The titles of God are also the titles of Jesus, if Jesus is not God, then He and those who believe in Him could be charged of blasphemy. Study of the Bible reveals a Triune God, the Father , the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus said He and the Father are one, an statement that have led to His crucifixion. Please review the gospels.

Mr. Joshua 888, you also wrote if you can't prove it from the law and the prophets there is no truth in it. Again I respect your Bible knowledge but isn't it the Scripture says the law and the prophets are until John (the Baptist). So after John the Baptist we have Jesus, the apostles and the Holy Spirit. After the prophets ,God Himself is revealing more through His Son and His Holy Spirit.

Mr. Joshua 888 I hope you will study carefully in the Scriptures what I have shared and these are not just from me but as a result of my over 30 years of Bible study, reading and listening to teachers and preachers and looking back , and checking the Bible.

One last thing, you said you do not call yourself Christian, but being called Christian is one way we identify ourselves with Christ. There is a verse that say if we do not have the Spirit of Christ then we are none of His.

I hope as your title suggest that we see or know the Real Identity of Jesus.

Dear E G you exhibit great insight in seeing the logic in my reasoning. You have the ears to hear logic and reason.
I cannot believe that a Christian still has ears to hear and you are not totally blind yet. You at least appear to be open minded.

How are the nations gathered together against Jerusalem to go to war against the Jews.?
Why are they ready to kill all Jews?
Where are they going to start the war?
Who are the nations of the earth too attack Israel?
What causes all the nations to hate the Jews?

Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.


Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Whos feet will stand on the mount of Olives?

O K then Jesus has returned to the earth to possess that which was His since the begining of time. The Father says my son the uttermost parts of the earth are yours.
And I will destroy the heathen of the earth.


Psa 2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. ARMAGEDDON, JESUS DESTROYS THE ARMIES OF ALL THE NATIONS, BECAUSE THEY ATTACK HIM. ( The mistaken Identity of Jesus causes the armies to attack Him like they did the last time he was here).

Mr. Joshua 888, we both study the Holy Bible, may we know the important truths that God reveals . For now our major difference is , is Jesus God or not ? Mine is Jesus is God, the second Person in the Blessed Trinity. I don't think I read you mention about the Holy Spirit. For me the Holy Spirit is the third Person in the Holy or Blessed Trinity.

For now I see your sincerity in reading the Holy Bible but as it stand now we can not be both correct, one of us is in error.
