Default Ministry Calling?

If a person doesn't submit to a calling to a certain Ministry office, will that person be judged and condemned to hell by God?

What if a person does submit but nothing happens, before Jesus returns, or that person dies?

Rom 8:24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Rom 8:25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Rom 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Rom 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Rom 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Rom 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Think PE about Jonah who fled from His calling by God. You can run, but where can you hide from God?

Think also of the little boy Samuel left by his mother Hannah with Eli, the high priest. God called Samuel by name. He did not understand at first what was happening, but with only a little help from old Eli, Samuel listened to God and followed Him in his calling for a long life.

Samuel submitted but Jonah did not. God was patient with both of them. He is equally patient with each one of us. The calling is yours Michael! It belongs to no one else. We can pray for you. We can offer advice if and when you desire to have it, but you alone must decide whether to accept it or not. Whatever your decision it will not be a easy road, but do you really have any doubt about which one would be the easiest one?

For it is by Grace you are saved, through faith, and that not of yourself lest any man boast.

Condemned to hell? I think not, Michael. Not if I understand your concept of hell and punishment. To willfully disobey will bring grief to God and purification to you, but eternal damnation? No- you have been saved, brother. And if you run out of time.... Michael, all things unfold as God intends. So if nothing happens that is His will. Sometimes He doesn't require action, sometimes all His wants is our will molded to His. Be at peace, Peggy

The questions were asked of me by another person, I posted them here to get some answers from others.

I do believe that your calling is to be done, but in the same breath God has given us the freedom of choice !! God loves us too much to send us to hell(I believe)because we were unsure or nervouse or whatever to walk in the calling. Trust me on one thing when you do walk in his calling for you(specific calling) the Devil will come at you full force,so do like Ive been advised be these great people of God here, pray, pray and pray somemore.Sometime I wish I wasnt called to lay hands on the sick because of not being prepared or I mean prayed up to protect myself. But we are al called to spread the gospel and tel the unsaved about Jesus.
I like what nike said"Just Do It" thanks to these great people I know now how to be prepared. I'll stop rambling Im getting of the subject.Sorry !!

I ripped up my ordination papers, AND my Bible college diploma last night and flushed them down the toilet into the sewer system the place they should have been all along.......
THIS is PE'S absolute FINAL word on the matter!

God NEVER called ME to ANY ministry, I was a complete FOOL to ever think he did!

It may be PE's final word but it doesn't mean it is God's. It is God's calling. I pray that God will wrap you in a blanket of His love and "Hide you under the shadow of His wings."

Hold on tight PE! The ride may get rough. God is in control whether we like or not, whether we believe it or not. if He starts shaking you up you will definitely feel it! Keep on thinking on Jonah.

"...the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.

And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death." Jonah 4:8-9

Jonah like others became angry in this case apparently with the gourd and other things, but his real anger was at God for making him what he was and requiring from him what God required from him.

You can try to jump ship Michael, but it is a no win situation. A person who has never really known God may be able to get a little pleasure for a time from the things of the world. On the other hand, a person who has known God at any time, [and you have], will be in misery when he tries to put God out of his life. I speak from personal experience on this!

For worse or better, Michael, depending upon your point of view, we on this forum who have known you are praying for you. We are praying that God will touch you again and again, as many times as needed, until you acknowledge that He loves you in spite of all of your frailties. He will never put on us more than we can bear if only we trust in Him. Trust in Him Michael!

John,
