In a report on the website "lifesitenews.com," it seems that PepsiCo, maker of a popular line of soft soft drinks, is now using aborted fetus cells in "flavor enhancing" research...
The beverage giant is set to introduce a new product in the next few days called "Pepsi Next." It is certain that they did not want concerned sharholders to lessen the impact of this new launch. And it would appear that, with the help of the Obama Administration, they will get their wish.
On Feburary 28th, Mr. Obama's Security and Exchange Commission ruled that the use of materials from aborted fetuses in conjunction with research partner Senomyx, is simply a matter of "ordinary business operations." This decision effectively sets aside an earlier proposed resolution from the company's shareholders.
In January, 2012, PepsiCo attorneys sent a 36 page document to the SEC pleading with them to block a resolution filed by the company shareholders. In that resolution, filed in Octorber 2011, the sharholders wanted PepsiCo to adopt a "corporate policy that recognizes human rights and employs ethical standards which do not involve the use of aborted human remains in both private and collaberative research and development agreements."
It would appear, thanks to our governmental leadership, that another strike has been made against human and moral decency in America!
