Healing 3

I wrote this for my facebook page "Glorifying God with testimonies of Healing" check it out!His Presence is essential, so I must have His Peace, Joy and carrying His Presence. This means a personal and deep relationship with Him(a lifelong process). So if you're just starting to develop this, awesome, no worries, we are to step into His Kingdom, by doing Kingdom Work! Worship, Intimate Time, and time spent studying His Word, all draw His presence upon us. Before praying for the sick, I evaluate myself do I feel His Joy (ie..I myself must not be in a state of fear, stress, or any negative emotion, if I am, I take a few minutes of prayer asking Him for His Perfect Peace and Joy! Once His Joy is in me again, time to continue), I am responsible for being yielded to His Holy Spirit, so the atmosphere around me changes. The person that I'm going to pray for, is normally in great pain, fear and in many cases may have misinformation on His Will for healing. His Presence changes everything!

Caution! This is not a weirded out condition (outwardly), that sends people running for the bushs. Nor is it arrogance. I don't change the atmosphere He does! This is a yielded life-style to serve Him!

Healing for Now!

Sickness and disease has become an accepted part of life and is "normal"! I dispute this, and in fact rebuke this line of thought. As my health was declining and the doctors started mentioning Lou Gherig's disease (ALS), against my wife's advice and wishes, I jumped online and started reading about this disease. I joined an online community where there were others afflicted with this. I am not speaking against communities like this, this overall was a good experience I met many people full of faith, that spiritually helped me! But as my knowledge about the disease grew, I began to predict what was going to happen next. Through my words I was accepting the disease. Unknowingly, I was accepting it. So innocently, I was double-minded, I was seeking healing, believed in healing, had faith for healing, but at the same time speaking death! A double-minded man shall recieve nothing! In contrast, today if something starts to happen health-wise I condemn it, speak against it and turn to Jesus. My focus today isn't on any symptom it's on Jesus. I command it to go away and as a follower of Jesus, I know it has to. It isn't fake it till you make it, it is a deep trust In Jesus and His Finished work that I know it doesn't stand a chance. Same thing when I pray for a sick person, I know that when I command a disease away, it has to go. If it doesn't then I don't blame God, I look to Him for a revelation as to why that person wasn't healed. I do not blame the sick person, or myself......I seek the answer! I will however ensure that the person does have the correct information on God's view on Healing. We simply have to develop a lifestyle that is Holy Spirit reliant. I rely and trust In Him. Back to accepting disease, we are surrounded by a world, that is focused on medicine and tests to detect sickness. Commercials that say have this test, have that test. We do these things out of Fear, Perfect Love casts out all fear. His Perfect Love for us, not our perfect love (cause our love isn't perfect) for Him! There is no second hand healing whether it is a miracle healing or a healing from a doctor it is from God. Take your medicine, have the needed tests, but Look to Jesus first and then secondarily do as the doctors recommend. Example, a woman was diagnosed with lymphonic cancer, I prayed over her on numerous occasions, surgery was scheduled, the day before the surgery she called me and I prayed for her again. The swelling went away she said I'm healed praise Jesus! She went through with the surgery, the surgeon found a perfectly healthy cancer free lymphnoid. Praise the Lord! They were confounded all tests had showed (including a biospy) cancer. I guarantee that her circumstance planted a seed in the doctors heart and either encouraged them in their faith or will change their heart so that they become true followers of Jesus! Speak health (life), not sickness and death. Seek His Presence and Recognize Him!

Keep in mind that with limited space the information I'm posting is very small. There is so much more!
Let's start with who does The Father want healed?
I struggled with this myself, while I was paralyzed. Full of faith when diagnosed with Lou Gherig's disease, I told the Dr and nurses that The Lord would heal me (LOL there is power in our words!!!). Yet, when a period of time elasped, the faith was still there but was joined by unbelief (because I would recieve prayer and no progress was apparent). I got to the point where I thought that this was my thorn in my side, and God had decided not to heal me. I would no longer go before the elders and ask for prayer. I accepted my sentence of death and even longed for it. STOP!!!!!! So where was my thinking wrong? 1) Firstly, I was believing for a healing, but speaking death and sickness (being double-minded a double minded man shall recieve nothing). Ever hear the phrase "I'm catching a cold" that is being double-minded. I remember a man would come up to me at church and say you're looking stronger, Tony. My thought would be no I'm not, yesterday I could move two fingers on each hand, today I can't (double-minded).

2) I thought that The Father had "allowed", this to happen. After all, God is sovereign, He controls everything. Step out into traffic, is the result God's Will or your bad decision? All good gifts are from the Father all evil is from the devil, period! If getting a disease is God's Will, why go to a doctor? That would be going against HIS Will, and then that is sin. God is using the disease to teach me a lesson/ for HIS Glory. Does a earthly father, shove his son into traffic to teach him to look both ways before crossing the street?

3) Now isn't the time God has determined for my healing/ when God says it's your time to go, it's your time to go! Short answer: With God their is no variation nor shadow of turning. Did the Father send a disease to kill Moses? No. Who is out to seek, kill and destroy......the devil not God.

Tommorrow I will deal more with this topic. Suffice it to say that Jesus is perfect theolgy not our "wisdom of men". Jesus is our example of The Father's Will. He stated that I do only what I see My Father doing (paraphrasing). Also, if you have seen me, you've seen My Father. So Jesus only did what the Father's will is. Then show me where Jesus did not heal someone (he did refuse to heal a woman's daughter, then healed her anyway.) Where did Jesus say today isn't your time to be healed......come back next week. Where did Jesus send a storm? Or a person wasn't a good enough person to heal? Did Jesus make anyone sick or sent them a disease? Jesus is the same yesterday, today and always. His time for healing is always now!

The Law and us

God’s Love and His Son’s Sacrifice

The more I burn for The Father’s Word the more I realize that we as a whole are becoming more and more in the traditions of men and less what The Father wants. The purpose for this is to point out the full scope and meaning of Jesus’ Finished Work and how we should press into His Kingdom to become a better conduit for the Holy Spirit. Jesus died for us……..Jesus in us…………..Jesus through us. This Life for believers should be all about Jesus and nothing about us.

The Body of Christ as a whole has walked away from truly being a conductor of the Power of The Holy Spirit as Paul prophesied about.

2 Timothy 3:5

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. The Body of Christ when compared to the Acts of the Apostles is quite powerless, when Believers feel that sickness and death are just an ordinary part of life, this is being powerless. When we look to man instead of the Father for healing this is being powerless. When we rely on Government for substance this is being powerless. When preachers use modern psychology for answers instead of drawing on the Power of the Holy Spirit. True Power comes from relying on the Holy Spirit for all answers not turning to mankind for the answers.

2 Corinthians 11:3

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. We have been deceived through theology and the wisdom and traditions of men and need to turn back to The Way of Christ. So let us examine one of the ways we have walked away from the simplicity that is in Christ. This is the way we preach the Gospel, we mix the Old with the New, which we are explicitly warned against doing in many different ways throughout Jesus’ teachings and Paul’s.

Gentiles are those who are not of Jewish descent; if you are reading this then more than likely this is you. The ten commandments more correctly the Mosiac Law was not given to us, nor intended for us. There were 613 Commandments that were in force during Jesus’ time these were strictly action based/ work based (reliant upon each person) do this/do not do this. Jesus Himself, makes it clear that He was under the Mosiac Law and was sent By the Father strictly for the Jews, not the Gentiles. His finished work is for all, but His teachings and works were for the Jews. Matthew 15: 22-28 22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. Jesus makes it clear that He was not sent but for Israel and at the same time showed that His Finished Work would be for all. Also, when Jesus gave the disciples the command to preach The kingdom of Heaven, He was specific to not go to the Gentiles.

Matthew 10:5-6

King James Version (KJV)

These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16). Notice that Paul, makes the distinction and never states that the Gentiles are under the Mosaic Law. Here is the clincher, that we were never under the Mosaic Law or the Ten Commandments. “Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:” (Acts 15:24). Notice where Paul writes “and keep the law to whom we gave no such commandment”. What sense would it make when Jesus fulfilled the Law “Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets: I am come not to destroy the Law, but to fulfill.” (Matthew 5:17). Still another point “Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth” (Romans 10:4). So if Christ was the end of the Law, then why would Gentiles be held to the Law, or even given the Law when they were offered Salvation secondarily after the Jews were offered it? Now, let us deal with traditions Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” (Collosians 2:8) “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;”( 1 Peter 1:18).

So the Mosaic Law was never given to Gentiles and we were warned against the traditions handed down from our fathers. Let us look to some traditions and Laws that should not apply to Believers. Teaching the ten commandants as if we are to follow them, using Jewish traditions in our services (such as the shafar), using any Jewish commandment such as the Sabbath, never applied to us. We tend to pick and choose what commandments to follow, we don’t sacrifice animals, but we do blow the shafir. We tend to lean towards keeping the Sabbath, but we don’t have a priest enter the Holy of Holies. The list goes on and on we have an altar, yet we are God’s Temple. The altar is a tradition taken from the Jews. The Jews refused to accept Christ, yet we choose to follow their traditions, this does not add up. Yes, the Jews are God’s first chosen people, but the one’s who refuse Christ are still going to pay the ultimate penalty. The Father in His infinite Wisdom had the human race divided those He gave The Law to and those that had no Law from Him. Why? These scriptures answer this question. “For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law” (Romans 2:12) “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God” (Romans 3:19). All of this is when we are without Christ or until we accept Christs’  Finished Work. Our Father is so totally awesome and Righteous. These scriptures do stand on their own and are not taken out of context, the scripture taken in context leads to the same conclusion. God’s Word is not open to interpretation as many would believe, it is quite plain when guided by the Holy Spirit. We have an enemy that wishes to confuse us and those that are carnally minded believe that lie. The things of the Father can only be understood by the spirit, He is a Spirit therefore we must have The Word quickened to Our Hearts by the Holy Spirit (Our Inner Person or spirit man), in order to understand. Meanwhile the enemy is out to twist and steal The Word. Now you who are reading this must be asking yourself, what no law for the Gentiles than how is there any order without chaos? The short answer is Jesus and living in the Spirit, the long answer will follow after we deal with the Law and how no one that believes on Christ is under the Law, since Jesus fulfilled it.

The Mosiac Law and the Jews/those who still wish to be lumped into the Old Testament

This section is for all that still believe that as Jews or Believers we are still under the Law: It is even for those that believe all is fine as we practice it now (a mixture of Jewish Law and traditions with Christ attached to it). “The Law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.” Luke 16:16  “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. (Matthew 5:17) This definition is from the Merriam-Websters online Dictionary:

b : to meet the requirements of

c : to bring to an end

d : to measure up to : satisfy

So Jesus came to meet the requirements of the Law, to bring to an end, or to satisfy, knowing He accomplished the mission; how can we still cling onto what He has satisfied? So knowing that Jesus lead the perfect life, without any sin then carried our sentence for us, how can we then seek to fulfill a law that has already been satisfied? We cannot and to try to do so puts us back under the Law. “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”(Roman 3:20) “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth”. (Romans 10:4). “But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law that we might receive the adoption of sons. Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ has become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the; ye are fallen from grace.” (Galations 4:4-5:4) Let me point out that Paul states that he has to do the whole law, not to pick out which one to follow. During Jesus’ time there were 613 Jewish Laws to follow with severe consequences. Such as being stoned for walking out of your dwelling on the Sabbath or for picking up a stick. Today there are about 613 Laws to follow. Do you really want to be under the Law?

a (1) : a binding custom or practice of a community : a rule of conduct or action prescribed or formally recognized as binding or enforced by a controlling authority (2) : the whole body of such customs, practices, or rules (3) : common law

b (1) : the control brought about by the existence or enforcement of such law (2) : the action of laws considered as a means of redressing wrongs; also : litigation (3) : the agency of or an agent of established law

c : a rule or order that it is advisable or obligatory to observe

d : something compatible with or enforceable by established law

e : control, authority

a often capitalized : the revelation of the will of God set forth in the Old Testament

b capitalized : the first part of the Jewish scriptures :pentateuch, torah — see bible table

: a rule of construction or procedure <the laws of poetry>

: the whole body of laws relating to one subject

A Law can be summarized by any action that has consequences, good or bad. In Deuteronomy there is a list of first all the to do things that are each awarded a blessing. Then all the negatives which have curses that accompany them. This addresses all those things that are sinful, all of them. So if we are under the Law we are in trouble. I am using the Law as in sin, which the Jewish Law covers in extreme detail and Christ antied up to make it even clearer to the Pharisees that they were hypocrites and not following the Law.( Matthew 5:28-32)When reading the Word one must pay attention to whom Jesus is addressing, in this much mis-interpreted passage Jesus increases the standards of the Law to show the arrogant Pharisees and Sadducees the Law was and is impossible for man to keep. Read Romans 2:12-25, the whole point of it is that under the Law it is not enough to just know the Law, it has to be kept in it’s entirety………..all of it! Also, in it’s passages is a point about teachers that teach the law, many preachers today preach against sin yet they sin as we all do (under the Law). “Thou that makest boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.” (Romans 2:23-24) Now, same meaning but applied to those that preach the Law of Sin to a congregation, it is blasphemey under the Law. How can I, who have sinned tell others not to sin. To do so would be blasphemy against God and also placing myself under the Law, this pertains to Jew and Gentile alike. Those who focus on “not sinning”, place themselves under the Law of Sin and Death and are saying that Christ did not finish His Work. Christians as a whole are sin conscience and are quick to point out others’ errors. This is making oneself a judge of the Law, and is blasphemy. This is one reason why we as a whole are powerless because we do not understand that we are placing ourselves under the Law and not under Grace. I will cover this in the next section, how we can live a Believers Life, without the Law.

The New Testament/Covenant without the Law

Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. (Romans 4:15) For until the law, sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. (Romans 5:13) Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: (Romans 5:20) Sin abounded in Christ when He took sin into Himself for us, on the Cross. Grace did much more abound when The Father resurrected Jesus and set Him at His Right Hand. Jesus conquered and destroyed the Law of Sin and Death. “Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin” (Romans 4:8)All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.” (1 Corinthians 6:12) All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.” (1 Corinthians 10:23). In Christ we are dead to sin, The Father does not impute sin, to those that accept Christ and His Finished Work. Not only does Paul say that all things are lawful twice in the same sentence, but in two different scriptures, in the same Letter. Therefore, it is essential to fully comeprehend (In the Spirit), what Paul is saying. He is not saying that it is ok to sin, but he is saying that the Father in spirit, is not holding us accountable, because Christ paid the penalty for us. There still is an earthly accountability, if I commit adultery and catch aids then I am accountable in the physical realm. Sin opens a door for Satan to attack in the physical realm. Likewise, if I get angry and kill a person, I am held accountable for it, in this realm. Paul constantly reminds us, sin is never good, it is death on earth, period. He is saying this for the carnally minded person, who does not have spiritual discernment. The carnally (physical minded) person will use this as a means to excuse his actions, sin is never ever justified. “The sting of Death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.” (1 Corinthians 15:56)To a spiritually-minded person the realization that the Father is no longer angry with us / wrathful, but at peace with us through Jesus’ Faith and Finished Work this is freedom!! “Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 4:25-5:1) “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” (Romans 3:21, Romans 3:27-28) This means I am the righteousness of God through the faith and Finished Work of Jesus. As I am right now and so are all who have confessed with their mouths that Jesus is the Son of God and Son of Man who is my Saviour and Redeemer and my Lord! He died for my sins and in Him I am dead to sin, He was resurrected and is now sitting at the Right Hand of the Father, because His Work is completely done. If we live a life trying to live a sinless life than not only are we trying to do what Jesus did for us, we are placing ourselves, back under the Law. “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.” (Romans 7:6) The oldness of the letter refers us back to the Old Covenant. Anyone teaching or trying to teach and abide in the ten commandments, Mosaic Law, or men’s traditions they are of this world, which is fallen, there is no spiritual discernment within them. “And be found in him not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:”(Philippians 3:9) In Christ, the Father does not see my sin at all, nor is He keeping a record of it. That question will never come up during the time of judgement as long as I do not place myself back under the law.

                                                                  A New Creature in Christ

Jesus replaced all of the Old Laws with one new Law, for all. “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”(John 13:34) This commandment replaced all of the Old Ones, it is the Law of Love. No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, the old is better. (Luke 5:39) Jesus knew we would continually go back to what is comfortable, with laws that tell us how to behave. Instead, as a believer our focus should be on God’s Unconditional Love for us. Once we recognize this then and only then can we love all. I no longer focus on not sinning I focus on God’s Love for us. Satan can only tempt us with what we think, if we are only focused on God’s Love then there is no longer temptation. If I’m righteous as I am now, then all believers are righteous as they are. So how can I judge them, I cannot. We are dead to sin.If God is not holding me accountable for my sin then how can I hold my neighbor accountable for his, I can’t.  Paul emphases Love in fact puts it first But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 1 Corinithians(12:31-13:1) So if we strive for anything it should be to be a vessel which the Love of God shines through. But the greatest of these is charity (1 corinthians 13:13) Whatever we ponder/think on, is the way our flesh/mind moves. If we focus on laws we get sin, if we focus on Love we will both give and receive more love. When we read scripture from God’s Language of Love than we get a true interpretation of His Word and through the Holy Spirit can live a life which is in harmony with Our Lord Jesus Christ. “I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” Galatians 2:21 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.” Galatians 2:19 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.” (Galations 5:18) Paul, has numerous warnings, the true extent of our freedom is immense, yet he is quite clear that the freedom and righteousness Christ earned and then freely gave to us is not an avenue to sin. This revelation for those who are lead by the Spirit will draw The Father and Son to a closer relationship with us. Those who only have intellectual knowledge of The Father will think this is foolishness and put themselves, back under the Law and have to stand in judgement by the Law. Paul’s teaching’s are two-fold one to those who truly seek God’s Kingdom and His Righteousness. Then secondly to those who just wish to get to heaven and know only the physical nature of the world; he gives many warnings to so that they may turn their focus to the true gospel. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. (Galations 5:16)

How to Walk in the Spirit:

Renew your mind Daily- Read The Word, not to fulfill an obligation to God, but to seek the Kingdom of God

Meditate on the Word and Things of God 24/7- Suggestion Start thinking on God’s AGAPE Unconditional Love for Us

Spend time praying in tongues an hour or more a day

DO NOT Focus on not sinning- this is placing yourself back under the Law.

We get changed from the inside out, by the Holy Spirit, change will happen without stress

We are not walking in the Spirit when we cannot do the things that ye would (Galations 5:17)  It’s an all in deal, if you’re still sinning with no improvement, then honestly you’re not walking in the Spirit. When walking in the Spirit, Fear will cease, Love for others will spring forth and you will feel no condemnation nor condemn others. None of the above is done with the motive to earn anything, the motive should be to draw closer to Jesus. We've already been given  the righteousness of  God through Jesus! Once we truly know this, then the Power of the Holy Spirit starts working through us toward others. It's all about Love; His Love for us and then through us. Christ (died) for us; Christ in us; Christ (works) through us.

Kingdom of God

 Matthew 6:33

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
We preach and hear the message of salvation often, but there is so much more. The Kingdom of God and the fact that it is here and has been here for two thousand years. Salvation is mentioned 50 times, redemption 11 times. The kingdom of God/Kingdom of Heaven 150 times. Why? Because salvation/redemption are just a part of the Kingdom of God and not the entire Gospel of the Kingdom. We accept Christ's sacrifice, get baptized and then what? Most of us are looking nervously behind us fearing that we will fall short and not recieve what we already have...salvation. Instead we should be seeking God's Kingdom now, because it is here.
Matthew 4:23
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
Luke 17:20
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luke 17:21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
1 Corinthians 4:20
For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
The Kingdom is here and now, but we don't recognize it, because we can't see it. The Body of Christ is powerless (as a whole), because we don't recognize it. We are more concerned with "not sinning". If all of our focus is on seeking God's kingdom we won't sin, not of our own doing but by God's Grace. Now, here is the warning Paul writes in 2Timothy

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

Having a form of our religion, but denying the power thereof:

This is why our churches (save a few, and some individuals) are powerless. It is called unbelief, Because we don't believe to see, we want to see to believe. We are more than conquerors, but do not act like it. We act like a people living in fear of losing salvation. God is more than capable to keep what is His. It is time we start doing what Jesus commanded and showing His Power through us and our lives. This starts by first being submissive to God, then by resisting the devil and he will flee. This includes not accepting disease, we as a whole are double-minded we want healing but speak sickness. We tell people "I feel sick today", "I'm tired", "I'm catching a cold". This is being double-minded. We think that being sick is a part of isn't. not for children of the Almighty God through Jesus. The power of life and death is in the tongue. Start speaking health and knowing in your heart, health will come. Sickness has no part in the Body of Christ. Lack of knowledge is what is killing us, read and study God's Word for it is Spirit and life. Studying God's Word changes us, when we study it only to seek knowledge.........The Holy Spirit handles the rest, but we must renew our mind first.

Drawing Men using fear of Judgement

Romans 1:18-21 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; beause that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without exuse:

Put plainly we already know the truth, God has already put it inside each of us. There is no need to preach about hell, as some do, drawing people by fear. In contrast

Romans 2:3-4 And thinkest thou this, O man that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgement of God? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth them to repentence.

Fear of damnation doesn't lead people to repentence. God's Love and goodness does. Yes, there is a time and place to rebuke and exhortation, but when trying to save a "sinner" that isn't the time. Many will argue that many accept Jesus after putting the"fear" of God in them, that is temporary, which is why we have so many "backsliders" or revolving door christians. Once the true Love of God is felt, that is when a lifetime Believer is Born.

The Gospel Preached: Fully Preached

Acts 4:30-33 30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Acts 5:29-32 29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Acts 13:31-41 31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.

32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

40 Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;

41 Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

Acts shows us how to preach the Gospel, Just as Jesus showed us. Where is the condemnation that is wholly preached today? It isn't there. The Apostles bore witness to Jesus, then by The Holy Spirit performed signs, wonders and miracles. Then multitudes were baptized and recieved the Holy Spirit on the spot. The scriptures have been corrupted to the point, where few have signs, miracles and wonders follow them. The Gospel is not fully preached until there have been signs, wonders and miracles. What has happened to the Body of Christ? It is a simple answer, mankind has used fear of damnation in place of signs, wonders and miracles. Because unbelief has become the normal for "Christians". Unbelief neutralizes Faith, we need only faith the size of a grain of a mustard seed, yet as Jesus often told his disciples it is your unbelief.
So quite simply treat the reason for the impotency of the Body of Christ. Unbelief can be put in four categories
1)Ignorance-Atheism, complete disbelief in God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit...........Remedy: A Fully Preached Gospel, including signs wonders and miracles
2)Mis-information- Study the Word as a child without denominational prejudice. Allow the Holy Spirit (not man) to teach. 1 John 2:27 but the annointing which ye have recieved of him abideth in you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. (We need true leaders that exhort and rebuke and fellowship, but we are responsible for the seeking of the True Word of God and to discern, truth from lies)
3) Disbelief-this is from the five senses controlling you and telling you what to believe (living in the physical world) ...........Remedy: Praying out loud and yes in tongues, and much fasting.....Being more sensitive to the spiritual world than to the physical senses.

4) Hardness of Heart-What you think about is what you are sensitive to and will result in what your actions are. Remedy........Ponder and meditate on the things of God 24/7. Instead of focusing on the dr's diagnosis, the arguement you had with you spouse, significant other, boss etc......

This is how we live a life in the Spirit and not in the physical world. This is how we live a victorious Christian Life walking in Grace (unmerited favor using God's abilities through Jesus)and the Power of the Holy Spirit. This is when signs, wonders and miracles will return to the true Body of Christ.

Simplicity that is In Christ

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness then all these things shall be added unto you.

Definition of SEEK. transitive verb. 1: to resort to : go to . 2. a: to go in search of : look for . b: to try to discover . 3: to ask for : request <seeks advice>

Mankind tries to make things so complicated, it isn't. Jesus fulfilled the Law by committing Himself 100% to the Father. He took all of our sins and sicknesses and death upon Himself and destroyed all evil once and for all. We continually bring evil back to life by focusing on it. Count the number of times in a day, we focus or think about a particular sin, or sickness. It is inumerable, to many times to count. We can only think about one thing at a time, so if we're thinking about, for instance, a beer or better yet trying not to think about a beer, we're still thinking about a beer.

Instead of trying to not think about any sin, replace that thought with Jesus, or in other words, The Word! Bingo, we just changed our focus from sin (carnal thinking), to Jesus (spiritual thinking). So we are now focused on Jesus, all other thoughts pass by and we cannot be tempted. We do not, nor can we change ourselves so quit trying to. Focus on Jesus...........simple! the Word which is Spirit.........find........... all the Gifts that the Father has already given us.

Fear does not draw anyone, it paralyzes. LOVE draws us to itself. Think of a bully, kids run from a bully. Where do kids run to the person that loves them.  Now the kids that hang around a bully are doing so out of fear. What happens?Eventually they rebel against that bully.

It is the same way with The Father when we try to draw people to God through fear of punishment, what happens they will stick around Him for a period of time then they will rebel against Him.

Teach the real side of the Father, which we see in the Son, Love, Mercy, Kindess, Forgiveness, longsuffering all Good things come from God and are good. Then it not only draws us in ..........but keeps us there! It is simple!!! We don't change ourselves, the Love of the Father does, which is shown to us by JESUS and He changes us! Perfect Love casts out all fear.

The Word of God

This issue is tantamount to truly understanding God and Christianity. If this issue could ever be resolved, between denominations, then perhaps we can stand as a united front and be of one belief. Will this post do it, no it won't, but it may spark an interest in truly studying the Bible for the answer. I encourage all to read and discover for yourself the Truths that are in the Holy Word of God.
There is more difference in the Old and New Testament, then just a blank page. This is huge, the Old Testament shows us life under the Old Covenant, this is before Our Savior came and while God had wrath against those who sinned. These were the days when God cursed mankind, as is fully made known in Deuteronomy 28 this chapter deals with the blessings and cursings that God dealt out. In psalms David himself expresses how fortunate those are when God no longer impunes our sins to us and longed to see it. That is us! We no longer have to sacrifice animals every time we sin and then once every year for all the sins of that year. Why? Because Christ is our Lamb, once and for all. The Sabath day was done away with, in fact all of the Old Covenant traditions were done away with, by Jesus. The Day Jesus was born the Angels appeared to the shepherds with a message. Luke 2:14 "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will towards men" We know this message was not peace "between men", for Jesus stated that he did not come to bring peace on earth Matthew 10:34-38. No, the angels message was that the Glad Tidings was that with Jesus' birth, that God was at Peace with Man..........A new Covenant. The debt has been paid in full. If the Law had not been fulfilled Jesus would have let the Pharisees stone the adultress woman. If the Law had not been fulfilled than when John and James asked Jesus if they should be fire down on Samaria as Elijah did on the prophets of baal, then Jesus would have allowed it. Also, if God still held to the curses of the Old Covenant then Jesus would not have commanded the disciples to heal the sick Luke 9:2 And He sent them to preach of the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick!" For then their sickness would have been sent directly from God (curses). He would have stated that to heal the sicknesses that were not curses sent by God! Romans 5:1 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ"  Romans 5:9-11 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement." Paul again and again confirms this fact, that Jesus' fulfilled the Law. The Old Testament is vital and should be studied, but with the realization that it is the Old Covenant. The New Testament is the New Covenant, Jesus had to teach the disciples, because it was NEW, meaning it had never existed, before. Ponder this.........Before the Mosiac Law (prior to the Ten Commandments) God did not impune sin unto men. In fact He protected the first murderer from mankind and did not impune his sin to him. He seperated himself from cain, but did not impune his sin to him. Then came the Mosiac Law and God impuned man's sin onto us and His Wrath was upon those who sinned. Then Came  The New Covenant and now when we Accept Christ and His Sacrifice, he does not impune sin unto us. Yes, there were three seperate stages of how God dealt with mankind! Sin is death, this is not a license to sin, it does lead to death of the physical body and opens a door for Satan. Sin also seperates us from God, Not because God is mad or angry at us, it's because we seperate ourselves from Him. Corinthians 5:5 5 "deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the Day of the Lord Jesus." Notice the distinction between the flesh and the spirit." I pray that all will read the Bible and learn, Love and Live it. The study of the Bible, is the renewing of the mind, and then and only then can the spirit and mind come together to force the corrupted body to submit.
