"The Curse and the Promise"

 “The Curse and the Promise”

But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the Law.  When He was hung on the cross, He took upon Himself the curse for our wrongdoing.  For it is written in the Scriptures,  “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing He promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.      Galatians 3:13-14

Jesus Christ, the One and Only Son of the Lord God, Almighty, the SPOTLESS, SINLESS, LAMB of GOD, took on the SINS of ALL MANKIND, throughout the history of mankind, PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE sins. He carried out this REDEMPTIVE ACT to set mankind FREE from their SLAVERY to SIN, and to RESCUE them from the SENTENCE of an ETERNITY in HELL.  He did this by taking on the CURSE for OUR WRONGDOING.  Because, the SCRIPTURES say:  “CURSED is EVERYONE who is hung on a tree.”  And that is exactly what happened.  The LORD JESUS CHRIST, was hung on an OLD WOODEN CROSS, where His PRECIOUS, LIFE’S BLOOD flowed, to REDEEM MANKIND.

However, there are TWO reasons for Christ to be CURSED. One, was that the Gentiles might receive the same BLESSING that God had PROMISED to Abraham, the PROMISE of JUSTIFICATION by FAITH in God’s plan of SALVATION.  And the SECOND reason was; the PROMISE of the Holy Spirit, who indwells EVERY TRUE BELIEVER, and is there to GUIDE, TEACH, and to be our COUNSELOR in times of indecision, and to CONVICT us of our sins and wrongdoings.  He PRAYS for us, when we are at a loss for words to express how we feel.  He HELPS us to WORSHIP God the way He deserves to be worshiped and praised.  Do you have these PROMISES or are you living under the CURSE of spending an ETERNITY in HELL, with ALL its HORRORS, and NO WAY to ESCAPE, after you are there?

If you have NOT given your HEART and LIFE to GOD, by coming to His SON, JESUS CHRIST, for the REDEMPTION of your SOUL, you are living under that CURSE of spending an ETERNITY in HELL.  But God wants you to be SET FREE from that CURSE, and to RECEIVE His PROMISES of spending an ETERNITY in HEAVEN with ALL its BLESSINGS.  To do that; you MUST be WILLING to TURN AWAY FROM your sinful lifestyle, and TURN TO GOD with a TRUE REPENTANT HEART.  Then CONFESS your sins to Him, and ask Him for His FORGIVENESS.  And BELIEVE, with ALL your HEART, that JESUS died for YOU, and that He is ALIVE in Heaven, making intercession for you, before God.  You MUST ACCEPT His Gift of SALVATION, and be FREE FROM the CURSE, and RECEIVE His PROMISES.  Do this NOW, while you still can.  He’s waiting and COMING SOON!!!
