Walking With Us (Thirty Second Devotinal)

Devotional
In life you will have many trials and tribulations. God never promised a life of ease. When things happen in your life that you have no control over, you can always count on Christ to be there with you. Remember that even in the hard times, He will never leave you nor forsake you. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Scripture Reference
Romans 8:25
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Action Point

Trust in His love today. You may be going through tough times, but you have a friend who will walk beside you. That friend is Jesus.

Waiting On The Lord (Thirty Second Devotional)

Devotional
As a Christian, one of the hardest things to learn is to be patient and wait on the Lord. We pray, and some times it seems like He doesn't answer. Often times these are the times when God is waiting for the right time.

Scripture Reference
Psalm 40:1
I waited patiently for the LORD;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.

Action Point
Just because you don't get an answer right away, doesn't mean He is not listening. Remember that His timing is perfect. If we wait on Him, He will answer. We just need to be patient, and let God be God.

The Blame Game (Thirty Second Devtional)

Devotional
How many times have you played the blame game? It was his fault. If only she would have said something sooner. It's not my fault. The fact is, we are accountable for our own sins. It has to be our decision to receive forgiveness. The only way to do this is through receiving Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior

Scripture Reference
Genesis 3:12-13
Then the man said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate." And the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."

Action Point
When we stand before God, we will not be able to blame our sin on other people. The only way in is through faith in Jesus. The only way is through Gods grace. Grace, Grace, Gods grace. Grace that will pardon and cleanse within. Grace, Grace, Gods Grace,Grace that is greater than all our sin

Are You Born Again? (Thirty Second Devotional)

Devotional
Just like Nicodemus, many people misunderstand what it means to be born again. The fact is, when you are born again, there is a change that takes place. You are not the same person you were before. You no longer want to do the things you used to, or think the way you used to think.

Scripture Reference
John 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Action Point
Ask yourself this one question. Has there been a change in your life, or are you the same old person that thinks the same old way, and does the same old things? A born again believer is a changed person. When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are a new creation, created in His image.

Fighting Spiritual Battles (Thirty Second Devotional)

Devotional
Have you ever been in a spiritual battle? If you have, then you know that you can not fight a spiritual battle with weapons of this earth. You need to use spiritual weapons to fight in a spiritual battle. Prayer, and faith in God are our most effective weapon. Let God pull down the strongholds.

Scripture Reference
2nd Corinthians 10:4
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

Action Point
Some of the greatest battles we will ever fight are going to be spiritual. We can not fight these battles on our own power. We need to call on God and the power of His might.

A Living Sacrifice (Thirty Second Devotional)

Devotional
God is not interested in your money or the things that you own. He is after your heart. If your heart belongs to Him, then you will give out of your love for Him and serve Him with a grateful heart. It's not about giving what you have, but about the giving of yourself to serve Him in everything that you do.

Scripture Reference
Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Action Point
Present your body as a living sacrifice by serving Him. Remember that your service doesn't stop when you go outside the doors of the church building. It is when you walk out of the church building that the real service begins. Tell others about Jesus, show His love to others, and be a living testimony of what God has done in your life.

Mountains And Valleys (Thirty Second Devotional)

Devotional
We all go through seasons in our lives. We have peaks and valleys that we all go through. The fact remains, that there can not be a mountain without a valley. From the top of the mountain, you can look at where you have been. From the valleys, you can look at where you are heading.

Scripture Reference
Ecclesiastes 3:1
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:

Action Point
Give thanks for the valleys in your life. Without the valleys, you would not know what it feels like to be on the mountain. God may have a reason for the season that you are going through.

Practice What You Preach (Thirty Second Devotional)

Devotional
As Christians we need to live a life that is in line with the words we preach. We can't expect our message to be heard if our life is too loud. Remember that your actions will always speak louder than your words.  If you want your words to be heard, you need to make sure your life and the word are in line.

Scripture Reference
1st Corinthians 9:27
But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

Action Point
Let everyone see the Jesus in you as you share the gospel message with others. Be a walking testimony of what God has done in your life. Let your actions and your words be one.

No Condemnation (Thirty Second Devotonal)

Devotional
Have you ever wondered if you have gone beyond God's grace? It is not uncommon for people to feel this way. The fact is, if you are a Christian, you have already been forgiven. The moment you receive Jesus as you Lord and Savior, the slate is wiped clean. Your sins are forgotten forever.

Scripture Reference
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Action Point
If you are in Christ Jesus, there is no condemnation. We all fall short of His expectations every day. How He deals with us is totally dependent on us having a relationship with Jesus. Know that you are forgiven. Trust in His word.

His Righteousness (Thirty Second Devotional)

Devotional
We need to be passionate when it comes to telling others about the message of salvation and righteousness that we have through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you try to get to heaven on our own righteousness, you will never make it. It is only through His righteousness that you can enter in.

Scripture Reference
Psalm 71:15
My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness
And Your salvation all the day,
For I do not know their limits.

Action Point
Make it a priority to tell others about the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. There are two roads that a person can take. One leads to eternal life through Jesus Christ. The other road leads to death and an eternity in hell. The choice is clear.
