The Apostle Paul was made an Apostle by a resurrected Christ

The Apostle Paul was made an Apostle by a resurrected Christ This Blog puts light on Christ who is still in the Throneroom today...where He is the giver of gifts unto men. One of the gifts Christ gives from the Throneroom is the gift of the Apostle. This gift is stated in the Ephesian Letter, chapter 4. Eph 4:8-11...Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; According to the Bible...The Apostle Paul (unlike the original 12 Apostles) was given his Apostleship by a resurrected Christ. Paul was not ordained by Christ during His earthly minstry. Paul was made an Apostle by the same Christ that took the scales from his blind eyes on the road to Damascus. Rom 1:1-5...Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship Paul was separted by the Gospel. The Gospel took Paul from an unbelieving world and revealed Grace and Apostleship to his heart. He received Justification. He received Sanctification. He received Apostleship and he received Grace... from a resurrected Christ. Apostle Paul said "we" receive Grace and Apostleship the same way as he did. There are no scriptures that indicate that Grace or Apostleship ceased with the Early Church. Many people don't divide the fact that Peter, James, and John were Apostles according to the life of Christ on earth. Paul was not an Apostle according to the life of Christ. Paul was an Apostle according to the resurrection of Christ. Gal 1:1...Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) Paul was not the only Apostle by the resurrection of Christ mentioned in the Bible...There was Barnabus, Apollos, Silvanius, Andronicus, and many others. Just like today there are still Apostles because Christ still "gives" gifts unto men from the Throneroom. Both... Divine Grace and Apostleship comes from the Gospel. Read it! Rom 1:1-5...Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship Read it! Study it! Don't limit Bible Truth! The Gospel reveals things that pertain to Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. One of the most important things the Gospel reveals is Grace and Apostleship...all of which started after Christ died and rose from the grave. Grace is now...present tense! Grace and Apostleship is a product of the Church...Now! Glory! God's Word says so!

Playing games with God and sin? Who are you kidding? As a holiness preacher I often see and meet many people who

As a holiness preacher I often see and meet many people who "toy" with God. What I mean is I meet people that call themselves Christians (ministers included) that play with sin like a cat plays with a mouse. They seem to find pleasure in it. They try to go through life "claiming" Christianity and living like the Devil. They teach people that you cannot experience a clean heart or life of holiness in the eyes of God in this life. Who are they really kidding? "Trust me they are not kidding God". The blood of Jesus Christ doesn't cover man's future sins. Granted, some of this mindset is based on preachers telling people that its ok to sin or live a life disobedience to God and they are still covered in the blood of Christ. Some of this mindset is just lived out by high-minded people that "imagine" they can have the best of both worlds as they toy with God going to Church on Sunday, reading God's Word, praying, lifting hands in worship and still living like a Devil through the week. Let me inform you of this one thing right now, "Playing games with God is a very dangerous situation. Living in and out of sin is very dangereous situation. Toying with other people's Salvation to justify your own rotten filthy meaness is not overlooked in the eyes of God. So, who are you kidding?" Yes, I see it. So will you if you're truely honest with God. Don't play games with the God of your Salvation! Don't play games with sin! If you claim Christ walk in the Spirit. If you (by the Grace of God) haven't denounced the wrongdoing in your life don't claim to be a child of God because you're not kidding God. You may have yourself convinced but your can't convince God that this is what Christianity is all about. Salvation forgives and morally changes man into what he ought to be. Salvation by Grace makes men right and they won't ever want to offend God for those things they are now ashamed of. Genuine Salvation of the soul will cut off all game playing and make you serious enough to walk the walk and talk the talk. Glorify the name of Christ! That's Christianity! Don't play games with God. Don't play games with sin. Get serious! You can't kid God! Be faithful to Him! Sinning religion doesn't work! Part time belief and trust won't work either! Experience the power of God's saving Grace...that's found only in the power and person of the Lord Jesus Christ!

God's Theocracy...Hubert T. Lindsey...(a systematic Theology) Hubert Lindsey was a street preacher but he was also a great Theologian and Bible scholar with 74 years in the ministry. Brother Lindsey ministerd in the Spirit and not from human intellect or the wisdom of men. He taught Divine Wisdom and always kept Christ in the center of his teaching. You will find this 6 audio series very fascinating. The following teaching on God's Theocracy on (6 audio players in sequence) contain one of the greatest systems of Theology I've ever encountered in my Christian walk in 24 years. These 6 different audio recordings break down the many ways God ministered to the human family, in creation, in the days of Adam, in the days of Noah, in the days of Abraham, at the giving of Law on Mt. Sinai, during Christ's earthly ministry, under Grace now, in the Rapture, and during the Millennial reign of Christ. This series of teachings shows the Sovereign Reign of God and His plan for Christ the Saviour in all different dispensations past tense, present tense, and future tense. This systematic Theology teaches about God's enlightenment to humanity concerning His Divine law, before the Law of Moses was given on Mt. Sinai and now since the Law of Moses was abolished through the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. These 6 players of 1 hour teachings in dispensational sequence...if studied with a concordance can offer a lifetime of Bible knowledge and clairification to anyone who desires to know the truth of God's Word. They are vast in Bible knowledge. They are a must for all students of God's Word. They unfold and clairify many controversial subjects in the Bible when studied out. They contain a lifetime of Biblical knowledge. I appreciate Brother Lindsey's labor for Christ. God is still continuing to use this ministry on this Blog to continue taking this great teaching around the globe into "all" the world. God Bless you all for stopping by this Blog. Study God's Word and let God build within you a better foundation of Faith...all based on the truth of God's Word. Don't forget...each player  has a title menu and can be shared...E-mailed...or downloaded.

History inside of Prophecy... prophetic truth from the Torah that has won several Rabbi's to Christ

History inside of Prophecy... prophetic truth from the Torah that has won several Rabbi's to Christ

The following document was written by Rick Roehm, the publisher of this Blog. Having been tutored and influenced by Brother Hubert Lindsey for many years this writer was compelled to study and research the truth behind all of Hubert Lindsey's teachings. Inside this prophecy (from the Torah...Genesis 49:10) a truth and history about the nation of Israel that has led many Jewish people to an acceptance of Christ, as the Promised Messiah. Brother Lindsey personally had the privilege to lead many Rabbis to Christ in his 70+ years in the ministry. One particular Rabbi who taught in a Hebrew Theological School was "converted' by the truth behind Brother Lindsey's preaching and the prophecy of Genesis 49:10 written about in this Blog. That Jewish Rabbi associated with Brother Lindsey in the ministry for over 15 years.

Rabbi Ziegler (who Hubert won to Christ) personally tutored Brother Lindsey on matters of the Law and commandments given to Israel which are 613; the Talmudic teachings and the reason the Talmud was written; and prophetic truth about Christ contained in both the Torah and History inside of Prophecy.

History Inside of Prophecy contains an abundant amount of information and truth about Christ, the Jewish nation, and the history behind Israel. May the following document continue to bless all it's readers especially our dear Jewish Brethren who seek or have found Christ to be their personal Lord and Saviour.

History inside of Prophecy

· Genesis 49:10...The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the Lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Scepter...The Scepter points toward the authority of God relative to the Torah (the Law of Moses), which contained 613 commandments, and governed the moral and civil laws of the Jewish nation.

Judah...The son of Jacob: one of the twelve tribes of Israel: was a distinct pathway to the Messianic lineage through Joseph and Mary. The most accurate genealogies in the world were kept by the nation of Israel.

Lawgiver...During the life of Christ unlike any other time in history Israel’s authority concerning Mosaic Law was altered under the administration of the Roman government. During that period of time certain criminal and civil matters pertaining to the Jew were first politically handled by Roman Officials, and then delegated to an appointed High Priest within the Jewish council of Ancients (i.e., Caiaphas). In previous Gentile Governments such as the Babylonian, Medo -Persian, and Grecian Empires, the Jewish legal right to govern the Nation of Israel was never altered like it was under Roman Dictatorship. (John 18:13, 14) (John 18:31)

Shiloh...Hebrew term for the promised Messiah

This prophecy (Genesis 49:10) given to the Nation of Israel and partially fulfilled during the life of Christ, was confirmed by the historical records of Josephus, the Talmud, and the four Gospels. History of the Roman Empire during the life of Christ reveals the political authority of the Roman government “over” parts of Israel’s Mosaic Law. This type of authority from a Gentile government had never altered Mosaic Law during any of Israel’s past captivities under Gentile dictatorships. Criminal matters in Israel such as the death penalty were reviewed and handled at Roman discretion. Jewish High priests like Caiaphas were appointed and functioned within the Sanhedrin under Roman dictatorship. Israel’s authority of Mosaic Law “departed” under the Roman Authority and thus proved the truth of Gods prophetic sovereignty.

The Jewish nation at that time was limited in many areas of authority. Why? Israel was first subject to the Roman Government. Death by Crucifixion was even a Roman form of punishment. Crucifixion was prophesied in (Psalm 22:16), (Zechariah 12:10). According to Biblical prophecy crucifixion was the way Old Testament records indicated the Lord would die*.

*The Lord could not have been David because David said in (Psalm 110:1), “The Lord said unto my Lord sit thou at my right hand”.

Even though Christ was condemned and betrayed by the Jewish people, here are two reasons why the Council of Ancients under Roman dictatorship did not execute Christ themselves, but first delivered him unto Pontius Pilate:

1. Blasphemy according to Jewish law (because Christ made himself equal with God) was punishable by stoning according to Mosaic Law.
2. Jews had no legal right to carry out Mosaic Law but were first subject to the Roman Government or guilty of insurrection.

History confirms Israel’s authority was lost (the Scepter departed from Judah) during the life of Christ under Roman Dictatorship. Prophecy was fulfilled in Genesis 49:10 and only confirmed more Biblical truth concerning the promised Messiah. From the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms it is proven that Christ is the promised Messiah.

· Christ said in Luke 24:44….all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Christ is the one that died, rose from the grave, and sent the Holy Spirit from Heaven. Christ thus returned to Fathers right hand where God continues to gather Israel from the four corners of the Earth. The prophetic gathering of the Jewish people will continue until Christ’s blessed return to set up and restore the Kingdom of Heaven in Jerusalem.

· Genesis 49:10...The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the Lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Here's a few Jewish Historical Records that confirm the fact that the “Scepter” or “Authority of Israel” was lost when Shiloh came…

THE SANHEDRIN....The rise of this great council of the Hebrews took place in the time of Greek supremacy, though there has been some attempt to trace its origins to the council of seventy elders named by Moses. The first mention of the Sanhedrin is in the time of Antiochus the Great (223-187 B.C.) It was evidently an aristocratic body, with the high priest acting as president. When the Roman order was introduced by Pompey, the high priest still retained the position of governor of the nation, making it likely that the Sanhedrin was carrying on.Herod the Great began his reign by ordering the whole of the Sanhedrin to be put to death, appointing his own council of elders in their place. Under the Roman pro-curators, the internal government of the country was in the hands of the Sanhedrin to a much greater extent. And in the time of Christ and the apostles, the Sanhedrin is frequently mentioned as being the supreme Jewish court of justice. The Sanhedrin was abolished after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.

THE ORGANIZATION OF THE SANHEDRIN...The Sanhedrin was composed of 71 priests who served for life and who were selected from the following:
  • The acting high priest presided over the council; all former high priests were members.
  • Male members of the high priestly families
  • Scribes, legal assessors, bureaucrats
  • Pharisees and Sadducees
  • Elders - tribal and family heads

Criminal judges were members of the Sanhedrin, and twenty-three of them sat in judgment, with two clerks to record votes for acquittal and conviction. In capital cases, argument for acquittal was heard first, then those in favor of conviction. Anyone who had spoken in favor of the accused could not then speak against him; but one who had spoken against the accused could change his testimony in his favor. Sentence for acquittal could be pronounced immediately; but sentence for conviction was reserved for the next day.In voting, each member stood, beginning with the youngest. A simple majority was sufficient for acquittal; but a majority of at least two votes was required for conviction. More members of the Sanhedrin would be brought in two at a time to vote whenever there was a majority of only one for conviction. When all 71 had voted, the person was acquitted if there was still a majority of only one.

Jesus appeared before the Sanhedrin on a charge of blasphemy (Matt. 26:65; John 19:7). Peter and John were charged with being false prophets and deceivers of the people (Acts 4 and 5), Stephen with being a blasphemer (Acts 6:13 ff), and Paul with being guilty of transgressing the Mosaic law (Acts 23). The Sanhedrin had the right of ordering arrests by its own officers; of finally disposing of such cases as did not involve capital punishment. A sentence of death had to be ratified by the Roman procurator.

In Antiquities 20:9 Josephus again points out that the Sanhedrin had no authority over capital cases:

"After the death of the procurator Festus, when Albinus was about to succeed him , the high priest Ananias considered it a favorable opportunity to assembly the Sanhedrin. He therefore caused James the Brother of Jesus, who was called Christ, and several others, to appear before this hastily assembled council, and pronounced upon them the sentence of death by stoning. All the wise men and strict observers of the law who were at Jerusalem expressed their disapprobation of this act...Some even went to Albinus himself , who had departed to Alexandria, to bring this breach of the law under his observation, and to inform him that Ananius had acted illegally in assembling the Sanhedrin without the Roman authority."

This transfer of power is even mentioned in the Talmud: "A little more than forty years before the destruction of the Temple, the power of pronouncing capital sentences was taken away from the Jews."...Jerusalem Talmud, Sanhedrin, filoi

Roman 8 does not deal with Justification, pardon, or forgiveness

Roman 8 does not deal with Justification, pardon, or forgiveness

In light of the power of Divine Grace that keeps the Holy Spirit present in the life of a Christian... Romans 8 deals with "freedom and deliverance" from the Adamic nature. This Divine operation of God does not take place in the life of a takes place in the life of a child of God. The Divine operation of Justification has already taken place. The sinner was pardoned from all sins of the past. Forgiveness was found and Salvation was granted...but Romans 7 describes the ongoing war that a believer still has within his members.

Rom 7:23...But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

Romans 8 shows how the child of God can be freed from the Adamic nature that still tries to rule in the life of a believer. The Biblical expression of "another Law" warring in your members, is called the Law of sin and death in Romans 8.

Rom 8:1-2...There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Freedom in Romans 8 does not deal with the "acts" of sin. Freedom from the Law or sin and death is freedom from the Adamic nature...or what man still has in his life "after" he's Justified by the Grace of God. Justification deals with the acts of sin. Sanctification deals with Indwelling sin. Freedom from the Law of sin and death is freedom found in the sanctifying power of the Spirit of God that cleanses and purifies the believers heart from the old Adam. Sanctification takes place after Justification. That is what the Apostle Paul is addressing in Romans 8.

Freedom and deliverance from the sinful nature is not found in Justification. Romans 3,4, and 5 deals with Justification. Roman's 6 and 7 shows the Adamic nature and how to get rid of it. Romans 8 teaches how man can have freedom from it.

Romans 8:2... the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is not "Regeneration found in the new birth". The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is "Sanctifying power found in the Baptism with the Holy Ghost and fire" after the new birth. Justification is forgiveness and pardon from all past sins. Sanctification is deliverance from Indwelling sin or the Adamic nature.

Roman 8 does not deal with Justification, pardon, or forgiveness from the acts of sin. Romans 8 deals with "freedom and deliverance" from the sinful nature. Don't get stuck in Romans 7 where nothing but defeat is found. Get stuck in Romans 8 and find victory, full Salvation, and the righteousness of the Law "fulfilled in your heart.

Rom 8:4...That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Commentary on Water Baptism...Hubert T. Lindsey...(4 CD's)

This commentary by Hubert T. Lindsey on the subject of Water Baptism is the most thorough and exhaustive commentary you will ever find in our modern religious Age. It's contents are condensed from (4) audio recordings collected over a period of 70 years and placed onto (4) separate audio players that are now published on the Internet for edification of the body of Christ. Each audio player contains a wealth of Biblical knowledge in each one hour setting... but the overall study (4 hours) on Water Baptism is not complete unless you review all four one hour audio segments.

The foundation of Water Baptism comes from the laws of purification taught in the the Old Testament records. Having been tutored by a Jewish Rabbi for 15 years Brother Lindsey is able to unfold and explain with clarity the many reasons why so many denominations go separate directions on the how, when, and why Water Baptism in our modern Age. Brother Lindsey uses the Greek Text of the Bible to define the many various modes of Water Baptism. Distinction will be made between the Spirit's Baptism into Christ, The Baptism with the Holy Ghost and Fire in sanctification, and various modes of water Baptism performed by men, like sprinkling, pouring, immersion, for remission of sins, public confession, infant baptism for removal of Original Sin, etc.

Enjoy your study that is easily available for in length and in depth review. Take all the time you want to study this teaching. May the Spirit of God minister truth and confirmation to your heart and soul about the Blessing of God's Grace and Bible truth about Water Baptism. Thanks for stopping by the Churches on Trial Blog. It is a blog dedicated to Brother Hubert Lindsey and his life as a servant and minister for

The Raven and the Dove

This Blog takes the reader back to the days of Noah...after the Flood where God's Mercy only rested upon the Ark that escaped the waters of God's Judgment found in the Flood. Noah's family and many species of animals contained in the Earth were upon that Ark. The Judgment and Wrath of an angry God upon humanity had ceased as the waters upon the Earth were descending. The winds began drying the earth. God's Judgment upon humanity was over. The 150 days of water from the fountains of the deep and the windows of Heaven were restrained. God's Judgment ceased. The screaming and toment of people without mercy that were trying to escape Judgment was over, after 5 months of continuous water. Besides in the that time no mercy was found upon the Earth.

After the floodwaters ceased for forty days Noah opened the window of the Ark. The tops of the mountains began coming into view. Noah sent out a Raven, a scavenger bird that fed upon the decayed flesh that rest upon the earth after the floodwaters slowly began drying. The Earth cycled through its natural process of bringing forth life from it's natural vegetation. God had purged the Earth with Judgment. God had purged humanity with Judgment. From the refuge of the Ark Noah also sent out a dove to find the Earth's fruitful vegetation of life, that began growing after the flood. The dove finally returned with an olive leaf in it's beak to give asssurance to Noah that the Earth had revived from the Flood. Seven days later Noah sent out the dove, and the dove never returned.

This small story about the raven and the dove was passed on to a dear Brother of mine who was helping a preacher friend of ours by the name of Hubert Lindsey who became ill. Many of you have heard me speak of Brother Lindsey as he became a stroke victim in the 90's and was placed in a nursing home. When my dear Brother Howard had taken Brother Lindsey out of the nursing home, into his own home to act as caregiver...Brother Lindsey began preaching about the raven and the dove and this story was passsed on to me in 1992. It has stuck in my heart and always will for the glory of God.

Much of my Christian life has been inspired by the preaching of Brother Hubert Lindsey. Brother Lindsey got me to Christ and opened up the scriptures with vast depth that has foundated this writer/preacher for 24 years. In these past few years I have began Blogging for Christ and likewise opening the scriptures as they were opened to me by the Spirit of God. I love writing and serving Christ with a whole heart. Noah inspires this writer because Noah heard from God and minded God with strict obedience. Even today it is important that believers in Christ hear from God, mind God and obey Him. By doing so, we likewise will escape the fierce Wrath and Judgment of and angry God that is promised to come.

I will close with the grounds for this Blog in the following passage from the book of Genesis. I'm glad that Jesus is my Ark and my lifetime homework assignment is to get my family into Jesus to escape God's future Judgment and Wrath. Along life's way I tell people and preach to people about how Jesus is the Ark and how Jesus gives us refuge from the promised Judgment of come. I also love the story about the raven and the dove because they both came play after God's Judgment was over. As long as we're in Christ we will never have to face the Judgment and Wrath of an angry God. The raven and the dove remind me of the solace that is found in Christ the deliverer. Yes, Christ is my Saviour. Yes, Christ created the raven and the dove. Yes, Christ saved Noah and His family from the Judgment to come. Noah got the enjoy the bliss found in the raven and the dove. So does this preacher. Glory! How about you?

Gen 8:1-12...And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained; And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated. And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen. And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made: And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth. Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground; But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark. And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.

This Blog is dedicated to my dear Brother and teacher of the Bible...Hubert T. Lindsey who still today from Heaven...reminds this writer to keep in memory the things of Christ and the truth of God's Word. Perhaps it will help us all to keep in mind the precious treasure of God's creation of the raven and the dove.

With love,

This is where most folks miss the boat. They think if they merely believe in God, in some shape, form, or fashion that is good enough. There are many false religions in the world but only one Christ. Some people think if they go to church that God will admit them to heaven. Going to church might make you a churchian, but it takes Jesus in your heart to make you a Christian!

Man's enlightenment to the true Gospel and the gift of righteousness by Grace... The Apostle Paul did use the Law of Moses “lawfully” under this present Grace Dispensation to point men to Salvation through the person of Christ.

The Apostle Paul did use the Law of Moses “lawfully” under this present Grace Dispensation to point men to Salvation through the person of Christ. The Law of Moses pointed men to Christ. During Paul and Timothy’s day and hour there were no New Testament scriptures (as we have them recorded today). Holy men of God used the Old Testament Scriptures to teach and preach the person of Christ from.

All Scriptures (Old Testament Scriptures) that Paul referred to in his letter to Timothy were given for doctrine, correction, reproof, and instruction of righteousness. (2 Tim. 3:16) These scriptures were the Old Testament records passed down from Old. Within these Holy Scriptures there are many prophecies contained in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms that could point sinful men to Christ. This revelation of the Gospel is what convicts and saves men in this Grace dispensation. Most of the Torah taught Israel to have the righteousness of the Law by their works. New Testament records teach men to have the gift of righteousness because of the works of Christ. Paul understood the difference between the righteousness of the Law of Moses and the God given righteousness that comes from our Saviour who purchased the Church with His own blood. …so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous (Rom. 5:19) Two different types of righteousness, two different time frames… the first (during Mosaic Law given to Israel) before Christ’s redemptive work, and the second (under Grace) after Christ’s redemptive work at Calvary.

By Divine Revelation…The Apostle Paul understood New Testament truth about the Grace Covenant. By Divine Revelation Paul understood the miracle of the Church that Christ brought into play through His death at Calvary. Paul a Pharisee was a previous teacher of the Law of Moses before the Spirit revealed Divine Grace to his heart. When Paul wrote his letter to Timothy there was no New Testament records as we have them today. Holy Apostles and Prophets of God used the Old Testament records derived from the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms… to point men to Christ. This is the true Gospel that Christ commanded “us” to preach. …that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, (Luke 24:44-47)

Revelation of the Gospel that comes from the Old Testament records enlightens sinful men to the truth about God’s Salvation through Christ. In this present Grace Covenant Justification by Grace is a declaration made by God upon the heart of a believer because of Christ’s shed blood. Justification by Grace is a pardon from God that a sinful man receives by trusting Christ’s shed blood alone for his own personal forgiveness of sins. Justification is granted to the penitent because man turns from sin and…believes and trusts in Christ’s redemptive work at Calvary for personal forgiveness. Man’s Justification is not obtained by obeying the Law of Moses or by being convicted by the Law of Moses. Christ however; can be revealed from the Law of Moses and Christ will bring reproof, correction, and instruction in the truth about righteousness. Here’s what Paul wrote to Timothy concerning Old Testament Scriptures …And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Tim. 3:15-17)

Paul knew and realized (after conversion by Christ) that when an unsaved man (like himself) is enlightened to the truth about Christ (through the hearing of faith) he cannot be justified by his own personal works to keep the Law. Paul was a keeper of the Law of Moses and described himself to be blameless according to the Law… …Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. (Phil. 3:6) According to Law of Moses Paul made claim to be blameless… but He still missed Christ and the God given gift of righteousness by Grace. The righteousness of the Law of Moses could not produce salvation of the human soul. Therefore in this present Church Age it’s not necessary to use the Law of Moses to convict men of sin when the Holy Spirit under Grace does such work. …He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? (Galatians 3:2-5)Using the Law of Moses to convict the sinner only teaches men indirectly…to keep the Law of Moses by their own works. If a man comes to Christ by the Law of Moses he would therefore be obligated by the same Law of Moses to obey it! Paul said…Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. (Galatians 3:10-13) James said…For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
(James 2:10)

Christianity is built upon what Christ did and is doing now from the Throneroom! Religion is built upon what men do to reach God. When you leave human works out of the picture...then you can see the work and person of an invisible Christ... through belief. ... But before (the) faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. (Gal 3:23) "The faith" in the Greek text came through the Gospel message in the Grace dispensation we now live in. All this was revealed when the Holy Spirit became omnipresent in the Church

Lord, "I don't want to take any chances".

Lord, "I don't want to take any chances".

I was riding down the busy street today remembering back to the days of my father, my mother, and my grandmother when they were living. They are gone now and I believe my mother and grandmother are with the Lord. As for my Father, I'm not sure.

As I was talking to God in that little ride through all the holiday traffic and I stated, "I don't want to take any chances Lord". The Spirit hit me directly in the heart and gave me something to write about in this Blog. Why? Because, "I don't want to take any chances". And, "I don't like to see people take chances either".

As all of you know I preach and write about holiness of heart and conduct as I believe the Bible teaches the same doctrine. I believe that men and women have to have a clean heart when they die so that their souls are not condemned into eternal damnation. I believe in Heaven and Hell. I believe that if you die in sin God condemns your soul to Hell right on the spot. Likewise if you die with a clean heart God will reward you with Eternal Life in Glory where my Saviour resides at this present hour. That reward is given by God, right on the spot.

Some of you may think this is a harsh writing... but Eternal Punishment and Eternal Damnation of souls for eternity is what the Bible says is harsh. I think of these things often as I deal with the Salvation of the soul's of men and women on a daily basis. I think about where those souls go to... according to the Bible. I think about helping people to find "right" in the eyes of God. I know this rightstanding is found only when people trust Christ for personal forgiveness from all the sins of the past. Righteousnes is found in a Person, and that person is Christ.

People that get right in this life and know they're right with God are people who don't like to take any chances. They are people who found Christ and the Spirit of Holiness, found Salvation of the human soul, and found out what it means to have a clean heart. A clean heart is peace with God. A clean heart is what gives man a guilt free conscience in the presence of God. A clean heart is what puts man in rightstanding with God. If you die with a clean heart...unexpectedly, the regenerated soul automatically goes to be with Christ in Paradise as Christ told the Thief on the cross. If you die with a filthy heart the soul automatically goes to the place of torment, the Bible descibes as Eternal Darkness.

I don't want to be doom and gloom, but is it worth taking the chance for in this life. Tell me, "What's wrong with having a clean heart?" What's wrong with living the way God wants you to live? Think about a life of constant rightstanding with God. This person doesn't take chances. Do you take chances with your rightstanding with God? Or with your Eternal Salvation? You can't tell me there's pleasure in sin. I know what the heaviness and condemnation feels like when the Spirit is grieved. After all doesn't the Bible tell to, "examine ourselves to see if whether we be in the faith or not?"

No man of God has to take chances with his eternal Salvation. He can be sure every day of his life in Christ. Grace and mercy found in the person of Christ gives us a way to be sure about how we stand before God...and to experience the blessed assurance found only in the Christ of our Salvation. Not as a sinner but as a child of God freed and delivered from the bondage of sin. Not guilty! Right! Holy and without blame before Him in love. Tell me, "What's wrong with this style of living that comes from having a clean heart?" "What's wrong with not taking any chances and keeping yourself in and everyday rightstanding with God?"

It's called being ready. Are you ready? If are ready maybe you have the same attitude of this writer, and your heart says the same thing as mine...Lord, "I don't want to take any chances".

Here's what David said after he had his adulterous affair with Bathsheba.

Ps 51:9-12...Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation;

David in repentance was saying...Lord, "I don't want to take any chances anymore".

We are more blessed to day than David was because we have the blessing of God's Grace that can give us the power to be right because of miracle of the Holy Spirit's presence in our lives found in the miracle of the new birth. This great miracle of the new creation and new life found in Christ is the blessing of heart cleansing and full assurance that gives the child of God strength, desire, and power to do right and to be right in the eyes of God. Unlike David who was under Law...we today have a greater blessing called God's Grace...that gives us the heart and attitude to constanatly say...Lord, "I don't want to take any chances.

God Bless you all in the upcoming year of 2011 where righteouness and holiness can be found in this Christ that I speak of and write about, where the clean heart keeps telling me over and over and a=over again...Lord, "I don't want to take any chances.

See what a little talk with God can turn into?
