WHO WILL LIVE IN NEW JERUSALEM......

As we read the description of New Jerusalem given to us in Revelation, we notice something very interesting. We are given the length and width and height, and when we put it altogether, it really does not seem large enough to contain all of the billions of people that expect to reside there for eternity…. We can assume that this city will be incredible in every way, but the size appears to cause thought considering the numbers of people it supposedly will contain. There are any number of possibilities concerning this aspect of the city, but one that should not be denied is that, perhaps, many of the people that think that they are going to live there, just are not !!!!

We know that a person must have their name in the Book of Life, and that only true believers will advance to that privilege. So, how do we describe a true believer that would be eligible to live forever in the City of God. It seems reasonable to believe that just claiming Christianity is not sufficient to raise us to that level. Jesus gives us many warnings about the various ways that people will attempt to reach the kingdom of Heaven, but will not succeed. Many people think that they have reached this point because they own a Bible and attend services weekly. Others have said that they have accepted Jesus as their Savior, but do not even know from what they were saved. Once again, we reach the point where if salvation was as easy as just saying a few words, then all people would be saved. It is also hard to accept the possibility of being saved if we do not even follow the instructions for salvation. There are so many various denominations that preach various aspects that are necessary and others that are not, but do not give respect to the requirements given to us from within the Bible. The Bible is the only source of correct information concerning all aspects of Christianity.

We cannot continually alter the words of God to suit our current circumstances and expect to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Christianity is a Church with one instruction manual. It is not a group of organizations with their own notions of biblical interpretations and call themselves Christians and expect eternal salvation. A true Christian Church would have incredible power to correct all that is wrong in this world because it would be empowered with the Spirit of God. The “church” as it exists now has little power and we are all suffering because of the rebellious arrogance of church leaders to examine their agenda and return to true biblical doctrine !!!! There is only one God, there is only one Bible and there be only one Christian Church…..
