Hebrews 13:5: “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
People tend to search for security. Therefore, they trust in visible things such as money. They find it difficult to trust in invisible God. However a Christian places his trust in the One who created all universes and he knows that only God can solve any problem and give real security. Let us put our trust in Him.
I have just read Psalm 27 today and was very much impressed by some of the verses, particularly about psalmist trust in God and his fearless attitude towards life and things that happen around him. Let’s trust God in the way the psalmist does.
Psalm 27:3: “Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.”
Today I want to give you a few verses on love from the famous chapter about love in 1 Corinthians 13. Hope you will be encouraged and inspired to grow in love.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
