Hello Journal! I though we had an appointment for late at night when everything is put away and done? But let's go on. Where are you turning you bible? I see. Proverbs 3:27-28,
["...27Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
28Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee...]
And its a mistake to keep post-poning our charity. It only hurts us. Do we owe somebody some kindness? For sometime someone was asking me for something and I said ok..ok but just ignored the issue. Then my life began to feel like if a cloud was over it. I couldn't place what was happening to me! The spirit was just not with me! Have you had this happen to you? I hope not. I don't wish it on anyone!...
I was looking a card sent to me for a health discount insurance. I couldn't discount it. I just kept it. It seemed like a good deal. But it is just lying around in my table. We turn to Psalm 41 and that's a health discount card perhaps we do look at regularly, but is lying there in the bible. We turn,
["...1Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
2The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
3The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
4I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
5Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
6And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
7All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
8An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
9Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
10But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
11By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
12And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
13Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen...]
After I gave the last 5 dollars to the ChipIn! Bar, I wrote a morning blog! And then I went for a stroll outside and suddenly I did not feel sick anymore. Yesterday I couldn't eat too well even when I was served a sumptious dinner. The spirit was just not with me. And last night I gave my last 5 dollars in my card. I could of eaten with it and said to myself, "Lord? What difference will a small dollar make?" But I went ahead. And this morning. My freind in Signapore must of been praying for me because, I suddenly snapped out of the boy I felt in and the joy came back. Thank you all...
I had thought the last of my mites would bring such a relief to my life. And I though of something, we turn to 1Thessalonians 1:2-8,
["...2We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
3Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
4Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.
5For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
6And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost.
7So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.
8For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing...]
And this passage sums up what I would say those who have regard for the weak, "...but also in every place your faith to God is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing..."
I got up from bed today, stumbling out of bed, still asleep, walking, meandering my way to my key-board. I sat and I saw, or see the first shaft of light break in the horizon of my window facing the east. It was good to hear from my freinds in Signapore, New Zealand, Phillipines and beyond out there. But for them I'm way out here, wondering what and how my life is like. We have problem like anybody else. I wonder what they have for breakfast in the Phillippines or for lunch in New Zealand or what stew for dinner in our Signapore?...
And it had begun to dawn on me that we all have indeed one Lord, one Creator, one Redeemer! When was it that we started to speak different languages or thought of each other as the fellow from over there, way there?! We know we are connected with the marvel of technology. But I hadn't quite grasp how instantenous is the contact with each other. The tears of New York are the tears of the whole world! What a wonder to understand this. When we first made a conjecture that lies brings loneliness, the truth brings abundance of comfort and fellowship from everywhere...!
["...8 Do not owe anyone anything, [a] except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. (A) 9 The commandments:
You shall not commit adultery,
you shall not murder,
you shall not steal,
you shall not covet, (B) (C)
and if there is any other commandment—all are summed up by this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (D) (E)
10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Love, therefore, is the fulfillment of the law.
11 Besides this, knowing the time, it is already the hour (F) for you [c] to wake up from sleep, (G) for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. (H) 12 The night is nearly over, and the daylight is near, (I) so let us discard the deeds of darkness (J) and put on the armor of light. (K) 13 Let us walk with decency, (L) as in the daylight: not in carousing and drunkenness; (M) not in sexual impurity and promiscuity; not in quarreling and jealousy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, (N) and make no plans to satisfy the fleshly desires. (O)...]
Yes. The hour has come and its time and it is already the hour for me to wake up from sleep...The night is nearly over, and the daylight is near...yes the dawn of the brother hood is here for the whole world...our whole world...
It's midnight here in my town, it must be noon in Signapore! The sun never sleeps and the moon never awakens! Oh! It's a beautiful night here in my town. If I could only sleep! I should divide myself and send one half of me to Signapore and the other can keep watch here and wash the dishes! Let turn our bibles to Psalm 128 before turning in tonight!,
["... 1Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
2For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
5The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel...]
I wanted to bless myself with this message Psalm 128. "...happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee...] For all of you who feareth the Lord and walketh in his ways. Good day in Signapore and good night to my soul, sleep tight!...Amen...
"We did it our way...!" I think that what a famous country pop song says. We'll more less! No. I will not have it my way. After I look back in my back mirror, I don't want to return to where I've been! Once is enough! My life is good, but when my Lord returns it will be better, and best absolutely! But when we preach the gospel thing don't always turn our way!...
["...1For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
2But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
3For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
4But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
5For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
6Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ...]
Now we really want to preach the gospel but sometime the soil is rocky and hill wolf infested. Once in a while we have a lite moment with our faithful freind who bring us, that is Christ, refreshment with their comforting words and exhortations. But it is not alway this way. Sometime our whole truthfulness is put to question! And we don't the heartfelt welcome we would want...
Everything we say we strive to make clear come straight from the word of God and yet some do not believe us or our message! We turn to Romans 1:28-31,
["... 28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them...]
We would think these are of the world, but the word of God reveals what goes on in the mind of a fleshy person. And it all start with a lie: "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge..." This is the beginning of all trouble. We really don't like the precepts of God or really want to study them in a correct manner. We like our own ideas, and we would sing, "We had it our way...!"...
And truly it says, "...Without understanding..." We truly don't understand the way at all! "inventor of evil things..." We invent doctrines that fit our taste! It's all trouble in the brewery! And certainly I'm not perfect or close. And these profess pride, "Proud..." Things in such a way that nothing can turn them! This is the formula for trouble!...Blessings. Chow!
Hello Journal, I just got away from a comment on Children and Mother or vise-versa? The Lord loves Mothers and Children, we are to honor our Mother and Father, boy the devil has decked himself against me in that department. How I treasure the sacrifice of my Lord when I think about myself and my short-coming. If only there was not devil to stumble our hearts, perhaps we would have a better score in heaven!...
But no good score can earn us salvation, we need Christ, my mother needs Christ, my father needs Christ, my everyone needs Christ. Now parents should not magnify themselves as spotless, denying the cross for everyone. And it's a mistake where the Lord of the house is not Lord but a human lord, a parent who does not recognize divine authority! And it is stressful when the flesh rules a house...
The Lord says that in vain they, I build a house unless he build it! Let turn to the light of God's word for tonigh here and today over there, Galatians 4:24-31,
["...24Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free...]
Now there a house that the Lord did not build and he tells us,
["...25For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all...]
The free people are with the Lord, those who trust in the law or anything else are not in house of the Lord, because he tells us. That simple! And the slave woman will be cast out! She will have no part in the inheritance of the saints- the free people of God...
I was driving down the busy street in my town and the thought came to me about a message my freind Aidz was prophesying in her message. It tells about a sydrome of perhaps beginning today and to last till Christ returns. We have an anslaught of people too busy to pay attention to the Lord and his calling. Not now! Don't bother me people! We have a group of people too busy with the affairs of this life and indulgence of the flesh. Not really looking to Christ's return. After being insulted the Lord calm me down and said to me, "Do you know what time it is...?"...
And that though stood with me and it come to me when ever I'm shunned away or ignored or just look over for I don't what? We turn to Matthew 24,
["...34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up...]
There's so much to say about this matter, but like our freind Aidz said in her blog, we are running out of time. Jesus said that once the truth, the gospel is preached to the world, the end will come like a flood, everything coming together all at once. We may not have another opportunity to heed God's word and calling. If we really believe Christ he did say that thing or this world would not go on indefenitely. The end will come. Each time we call and no one answers is another call wasted...
Put your act together and heed God's calling! Answer his call today! Believe God!...
When we take out a big ship out to battle we have to be armed! We will go out to do God's will we have to be armed with plently, if not all truth! The truth breaks all barriers and nothing can stand against it and it endures forever! We turn to Psalm 1,
["...1Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish...]
The battle ship of the truth goes to all the world and no cousel can stand against the Lord. Hop on the ship of truth...!
Has it happen to you, someone says something off-beat but yet it is a profound statement. I was picking in up on something our freind from the Phillippines, Aidz said in a comment. She said, I paraphrase, "It's our faith which keep out of error and the lies of the devil and those who want to play God...". It's an exteded version but to shed further light in the issue. At first I liked that statement but I did not know why right away. I was driving a truck down an off-beat road or highway and suddenly I heard this great rushing sound. It grew louded and louder until two huge bulldozer type military trucks and got ahead of me and I felt I like if I was being escorte to safety somewhere...
A delusion, perhaps, but I felt how God gives the grace of protection to those he adopts into his family. But I thought intently, I had never thought of my faith in that way. I marveled at my freind Aidz and how God gives wisdom to his little children. Let's turn to Psalm 25:15,
["...15Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net...]
The faith that God has given us not only usher us to believe on God but it also keep us our eyes stead-fast on Christ on what he would have us do. And that faith keep us out of the net of pits the devil plants on our way. It is when we take our eyes off the Lord that it is that we begin to sink like Peter did when he was already taken a few steps to walk on the water. Be he doubted and then he sank. But what ever measure of faith God had given us, God steps in when we come short of his glory. His grace is sufficient on the faith God hasth given us...
I was having a Jovial talk with my father back in his town. Me my father had been enemies for a long time. We had cut-troat kind of comtempt for each other and then suddenly it all gone. The hurt feeling, the bad memories, the scars of bad times. I don't know where or when we defeated the enemy who sow lies and hate in our heart. But today we enjoyed that peaceful father to son communion. But let's turn our bibles to John 18:15-18,
['...15And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.
16But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.
17Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not.
18And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself...]
And here we have someone having a dreadful night. Peter a stout follower of Judeaism or the law, wanted to obey the Lord into heaven. And he gave Jesus up three time before the rooster crowed! And Jesus looked at him and their eyes met and he went outside and wept bitterly. The frustratioin of being human and not being able to do as you please. The Lord told him before or then later, Peter someday someone will take you hand dress you and take you where you don't want to go...!
Peter certainly like us wanted to go to Heaven, but he did not understand that Jesus was the Messiah of Grace and Peace and not the one for self-abasement based on human strenght. Human power avails nothing! And it's dreadful when we come face to face with Jesus and he shows us how really human we really are and powerless at that. Paul had this same encounter with his unability to do right even when he an apostle knew better. We turn to Revelations 6:1-4,
["... 1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
3And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword...]
Here we see the first two step of desolation. The white liar comes in the scene and on a majestic white horse, deceive the human race, so he has earned authority to bring in the second stage of desolation, this is violence and hatred. No peace what so ever among brothers, husband and wife, pastor and decipile, father and son, nation and nation, tribe and tribe, family and family, kingdom and kingdom and no peace anywhere. And we say where is God in all of this? In the bible. Thats' where but we ignore him and believe the desolator the devil...
This is the first step of desolation then come the third seal opened and that bring physical and spiritual poverty, mental desolation and loneliness and tears...if only we believed God we would avoid this stream of pain...And the dissimulation is subtle we believe gospels that are not true and God grants the devil authority to take the peace from our heart, mind and souls...if only we believed God we would avoided this river of blood...I hope you begin to get the gist of the dissimulation of what is going on and why we are poor, lonely, wretched, and even naked spiritially...not clothed with Christ!...
So I hope we turned the page on something today! Please believe God and all the blessings of the world and heaven follow that! Blessings. Chow!
