Certainly not the last or least or this maybe the most important thing...

And we haven't forgotten our youngsters who are graduating from High School or Colleges. We are mid-way through the year and what a better time than this time to plan ahead for future endevours. The bible says that a son who does not sow in spring or sleep during harvest is a shame to his parents. We want to congradulate all those who have finished the course and kept those homework assignments coming. We triumph with you all who have honor in grades and trophies.

But perhaps there one or two of you who did not finish with all the good grades or got the ribbon or wonderful diploma this time. But this is also a time a triumph for you if you kept the faith and still believe God will bring you into the winners circle. I'm certainly certain that God will bring you into the winners circle. So what ever your circumstance I want to congraduate you and what ever effort you put in on your part to have success. But even if everything went haywire and you crashed the program.

You must understand that God is with you and you will win with him. Perhaps you thought he abandon you in finals or you just couldn't put it together 'for a kill' this sememster. The game is about growth. You know Einstein was told six times when he was a youngser that he would never amount to anything and you know what he did for Science. Even in his latter years he sustained among his athiest colleagues that ' God is not malicious'. Some tempted him saying why don't you stick with probability and chance to solve the mystery to your questions?

He said no. God is a God of order, all my science tells me so. "God is not malicious" and would not leave our destiny to chance. So you see dear youngster, young man or miss. The game is not over. The bible tells that God will win this game, even the game of life. And like I've said perhaps you are not Ivy League or couldn't afford the best colleges. You are in the game if your teacher and coach is God. God doesn't know how to loose a battle and he never has lost a single one.

So rejoice and give thanks- this graduation day is a day the Lord has made! And if you have to regroup an take evasive manuevers to attack the enemy in a more pronounce way, God will be with you if you put your trust in him. If you made the Lord you helper you shall not want in any respect. So go to him now and give him thanks and tell him you plans for future. May you be blessed. Amen.

Taking the Bull by the Horns...!

I was watching the rain outside and noticed that it came in waves. Each session sometimes more profuse rain than the one before. And I look around and the anti-Obama campaign comes in waves each time more, with more hatred. And I look intently at what they say and write.

And I don't get upset anymore, I just wonder at what I hear. I think the greates pin is the anti-abortion campaign. And it seems right to defend the rights of the helpless. But how sincere are we to help these little sibblings. Perhaps may be not just an avenue to vent repressed anger at anything.

Let turn turn to Ezequiel 9 and lets look through the window and see what we see there. Ezequiel 9:

["...1He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

2And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.

   3And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;

4And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

5And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

6Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

7And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.

8And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?

9Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.

10And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.

11And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me..."]

Now the Lord himself told the destroying angel to anniliate young and old, infant and child, men and women...Now the Lord has regard for infants and children and wellcome all the children to come to him and nobody to hinder them.

But what would turn the Lord besided himself and smite young and old, infant and maiden. And he orders to start in the holy place- the sanctuary. What would let the Lord loose him mind this way? He tells us, He says, " Then he said unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel is EXCEEDING GREAT, and the land is full of blood, and the city

full of perverseness..." What and how does the Lord outlinen this brand of perverseness? He tells us, "For they say, The Lord hath forsaken the earth and the LORD SEETH NOT...! When we begin to yell outloud- " The Lord is not in contro anymore! Why if we don't act and take matter into our own hands the Lord will never see what is going

on in our nation, town or family or even my personal life. We lash out at the President he God has appointed and we dispise the wisdom for chosing this President for us! We don' t really believe the Lord is all-knowing and all sovereign.

But now we take the issue and put the poor infant whose life lost the Lord supposedly does not now anything about. Perhaps we get to the point that we can elect for ourselves a new God. A God who is not blind and do see what is going on?

Yes there's perverseness greater then murder, it is a right out lash at the wisdom and dignity of God in heaven himself. In Jude tell us he know this going on and who is out against him. Turning to Jude:

["...14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage..."]

Yep! God know and he does see who is out speaking against him and those he annoites and appoints for us. May you be blessed. Amen.

Do we have simple faith...?

I was in my sofa at my house and meditating about the resent blog on healing. And I thought do I really believe that?! I wish you God would heal my grim life! Take care of grim for the rest of the afternoon. I went into my prayer closet and confessed my sins to God and told him how 'grim' my life felt. And I thought I'm going to log on one more time for the afternoon and it simmed simple and trivial. But then the vision occured to me and remembered a perspective I had forgotten.

I had forgotten that when sometimes the Lord closes doors, it is to our benefit to see how really shrewd we are in faith and time management- not to mention resources. How much control have we given over to the enemy and spent hours in listless despair on imaginary problems? And I thought about this that we haven't truly embraced all the faith we have in Jesus. We waste the day worrying and listlessly tossing and turning at night thinking of what we are going to do do with our problems.

But we forget we haven't given God his chance to act. We storm the problem on our own strenght and just stare at the closed door. The grim door of no solution- apparently! But we haven't sought. We haven't asked. We haven't knocked doors. We need to get close up to the problem to see what the problem really is! We haven't sought a second opinion! We haven't read the book on the problem! And the fact of the matter is that we just haven't done anything that tells God that we know we are going to get to the bottom of what is troubling us.

And like someone said that instead of trapping dragons we are the biggest obstacle to what ever we want to accomplish. We really don't believe God is Immanuel, God with is us. We sing in Christmans but we don't really have trust on a God that can deliver! Now I ask myself, "When is the day and hour that I'm going to turn from my unbelief...?! There was one subject whose son had a tormenting spirit troubling his son and he said to Jesus, "If you can...You can make him well...!" Surely Jesus said to him, "What do you mean 'If I can...'"

And I ask myself this same question, do I tell Jesus, "If you can, you can help me...?" This is not the sound of torrent rivers of faith but of sure defeat. But as for me my Lord took care of my 'Grim' afternoon. In fact I have many things to do and the first thing is to apologize and put my trust on him who can is very able to deliver from any situation, if I believe and call on him with faith! May you be blessed. Amen.

Can the Lord heal?,,,Do you want to get well...?

We took a side trip to what a stove could teach us about wisdom but now let's turn to the question of healing. Does the Lord still heal today? Maybey you are ill and have had a terrible trial dealing with your illness. And perhaps I had begun to doubt whether God really heals like the bible tells? Do he really have compassion and mercy like the bible tells? Had you had your doubts? One of the reasons we don't get well is because we are still in the air strip of doubt and haven't really begun to trust the Lord and believe him like he delights.

Perhaps I thought the Lord would wave his magic wand and heal me and not have to go wash in the Jordan River like the prophet told me. This account is in 2Kings. There was one who was a dignitary and wanted to be healed and he asked the Prophet in Samaria and the Prophet being gracious like God sent his servant and told him what he had to do to be healed. And this man just didn't believe the messenger of God and stormed out of the front of the Prophet's house.

What if the Prophet send you to your local doctor or clinic? Is it a hard thing to do? To trust the hand of whom the Lord has entrusted wisdom of you desease. There was a time when Jesus went to his own land and he couldn't heal much because they did not receive him as the Messiah, but the son of Joseph or Mary's boy. What a distatate it was for the creator of the universe to be doubted this way. But even we when we have sick in our family we cannot heal them by praying over them. They don't see us as more as one in the family and forget a prophet who has healing authority from God to interceed for them.

It has alway been a mystery to me why it had to be this way. That our own don't recieve us as we really are. What a sorrowful fact to be disdained by those who suppose to love you. But then there's a purpose for everything in heaven and under heaven. But you can become well if truly with a pure heart ask God to intervene in your life. No counsel can avail against the Lord and no desease is so terrible the Lord cannot take care of it. But you need to believe God and put your trust on him.

Do so today! Today put your trust in God! What you have to loose but all the ailing moments. Take the bible read it an believe it! But do it now while the Lord is near! Amen.

Some wisdom from the stove...!

I have this problem. I'm given over to appetite and borderline indulging in food a little to much. I haven't been able to focus on a real time occupation that will divert my attention from the stove or refrigerator. I respect the stove and refrigerator more than I do the television. The stove talks about needeful and sensible matters of concern. Some clear focused ideas come out of the stove. The stove is sober about wisdom and not like folly of what I see in television. The refrigerator reminds me of what I should be concerned about.

If I start trusting in uncertain things I ask the refrigerator or pantry to help me see things clearly. The bible says that a little sleep, a little slumber and folding of hands and poverty can com upon me like an armed robbery! We shouldn't take the Lord to the test when it comes to our basic necesities. We should plan soberly what the scenario is for the distant and immediate future. And the sober thing is that our walk with the Lord has all to do with how to plan for our needs.

An idle plow can bring mildew and famine to a house. We should be busy about praying what pleases the Lord and or what he expects from you. Remember the shrivele fig tree with has no fruit when the Lord came looking for figs! And help the plant! It was not the season. But I have a fig plant in my back yard which gives the early figs, regular figs and the october-september late figs way into frost season. We should give fruit in season and out of season. But learn the lesson from the stove.

When nothing is cooking there is a real problem and we should pray to avoid our next meal at the shelter of soup kitchen. I may seem to take things to extremes. But I should examine myself to see if I really upto the Lords business. Is our collection of bible study helps collecting layers of sediment dust? Is our prayer time at the TV control wand? I hope you know where we are going with this. Tell your stove, "Dear stove, I'm going to take care of you..." Perhaps this is madness.

But with rising gasoline prices things are unstable again. And we need to pray and don't wait until sunday service to open the bible and see what God has to say to you. And remember what the Lord inspired Jeremiah to proclaim in the Temple, "Do trust in these words, 'this is the temple of the Lord...this is the temple of the Lord... and this is the temple of the Lord...! Wisdom gives its fruit only if we obey and listen to God. Do not decieve yourselves because it is the doers of God Word and not those who have excellent hearing ability. May you have a good night and morning. Amen.

Will my the sibbling in my womb live till' next monday...?

You know I don't like mondays, they are monster Mondays for me. After a wonderful weekend of worship, bible study, sermon at church and perhaps a trip to the movies or the park. But we have to go back to the plow and the chores. How do Mondays treat you? After our treatis of spilling the beans. Now that wasn't something that was new to me. I just hadn't had the nerve to 'spill the beans' and I hope in the Lord it has benefited many if any at least to ask questions about how wily the devil really is. But we now need to turn to Godl's word and be nourished. We constantly need to be nourishe by the wisdom of God. We turn Job 39:1-17,

["...1Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?

2Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?

3They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.

4Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them.

5Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass?

6Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings.

7He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver.

8The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.

9Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?

10Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?

11Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?

12Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?

13Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?

14Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,

15And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.

16She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her's: her labour is in vain without fear;

17Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding...]

Now this passage talks of the wisdom, majesty and fear of God. Certainly fearful it say,

"16She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her's: her labour is in vain without fear;

17Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding...]

I don't who would hardened the mother's and father's heart against the life of their sibblings. Perhaps still in the womb. Because God hath deprived her of wisdom and neither hath he imparted to her understanding... We are not here to judge what a woman or couple does with the embyo of their sibbling in the womb. I just pray and we pray that somehow, God brings the wisdom and understanding to see thing his way. And not,

["..."14Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,

15And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.

16She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her's: her labour is in vain without fear;...]

I tell you the word of God is the foundation of all knowledge and God know what is going on in the 'family planning' business. May you be blessed. Amen.

Spilling the beans on the con-job of the century...!

Wow! Hello Journal, have I had a day! They kicked us out of so-and so club site! It was disappointing to be cast out! I now know what it is to be cast out! Easy, easy take easy soul. Relax and let on the spilling the beans about the con-job!

I don't know if I can put it together. I fear. I won't be made clear! Well let's head on! Once upon a time the devil started a compaing in Babel or now Babylon. He want to get into the business of humans and their God.

He started a Religion called Mystery Babylon the Mother of all abominations. This is in Revelations. He figured man likes to feel good, so we will invent a religion where he will feel good. And the devil know or knew that men like personal satisfaction.

And we wanted to feel good about obeying God and started the Religion of works. And surely we will hop on the bible and make man obey God. That will work. After all God has nothing against obedience.

You know what happend to Adam and Eve for disobedience. God punished disobedience. So that what we will build. A guilt trip based on obedience. God will surely punish those who get out of my obedience trap.

Am I clevely devil or not?! So throughout history we will prompt men to feel holy for obedience. You know this Jesus is praised for his obedience even unto death. Men will want to imitate him. And many imitate the great ones of obedience of the bible.

I will not mention what Exodus 31:31 say that the Sabbath is a perpetual sign to remind God and men that it is God that sactify them. I want them to trust on their own 'obedience' to feel holy. Like if they owe God something.

This is wonderful! You cleverly devil! Men want to feel good. And I will teach them to look down on other 'sinner' so they feel more good and more holy. And for desert I will obscure the command to forgive others and put this ritual with those who worship idols!

They will never imatate an idol worshipper! But then I will have a party, just before the He comes who says I AM, who does he think he is God?! I need proof of that! But about the party! I will put a test to test their obedience. I will require them to accept my stamp or else?

I will take hostage their pantry. They won't be able to buy or sell groceries unless they have my permission. I will not permit with out my stamp! I know by then they will all believe that they have to loose their lives and they love in order to be holy!

They will never believe that non-sense Solomon who said somewhere that one should not be over-righteous and destroy ones head for their 'holiness'? I know they will have trouble! Their own family will pressure them to take the stamp of my approval!

But if they only knew that they did not have to believe me and do what ever they have to eat and have shelter. Their own Lord told them what David do when he hungered, he went into the temple and ate the holy bread and shared it with those who were with him.

But this sort of stuff I will never bring up in Bible School. I have to keep them believing that they have to keep earning 'holy' points until they are holy enought to be worthy of anything. I will make them lament and question their salvation. Why they would never question what they have

been taught in church for centuries! But I better hurry and help them feel more good and holy before He come and ruins the party for us devils. Hush! Do let anyone spill the beans! Well we see ya soon, holy people, you are VIPs at my party coming soon! Yo ah take care naw!

Journal! Journal! Help me! I had the most horrific nightmare. I'm glad it was just a nightmare! It was so real! The devil has this plan....

How to make the Anti-Christ your friend BEFORE he comes...!

Where is it all going? Who will heed? Who would believe? When the anti-Christ, the man of sin, comes and takes away our ability to buy and sell without his mark, then how are we going to worship God? How will we tithe and give offerings to church and charities? God has a plan to deal with every situation. Nothing takes his by surprise. In Amos 5:21 it reads, "I hate your gifts, I hate your solemn assemblies, I hate your songs, I hate your ceremonies..." But what then is going to happen to going to church? God is setting up to take the marker- place out of church.

He is going to cleanse the temple. He won't accept our tithe or our praise or our meetings. God says that he wants us to be a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to him, which is our reasonable service. God like we've spoken, want religion that is acted out. He told the Pharisees and us and me, these people honor me with their lips but their heart is far away from me. Those that do not understand the matter will continue marketplace religion and will have to be dealt is an kosher manner to put it lightly By the ruling power at that time, the antichrist.

But that heart is sincere and doesn't need money to worship will know and be known by God and worship God by their example. If I don't understand this I will become a martyr.
I really don't feel like being a martyr at all. Jesus told the church of Philadelphia, the church of brotherly love, that he God would keep them from the hour trial that is coming upon the world. They won't have to give account of their faith in public because just the daily devotion of doing God's will in everyday life Is a trial in itself?

God is setting up to put fire to show religion. And those that go to church just for the show and take the Lord name in vain by calling themselves by his name and cuss and smoke and disown him before men in their daily life will have to pass through the fire. The tribulation will be enormous because we've got families and the anti Christ will not have mercy on any. All these blogs about false religion and false worship and false example living and not just an exercise for the key board. Some have believed and some have not.

All the pastors and deacons and elders and their subjects who do not understand Amos 5:21 will have to defend the faith with their life. We invent clever doctrines like the rapture to give us peace from the tribulation that is coming. But it will be a time of trouble like there wasn't ever before. All this business of taking the Lords name in vain and calling yourself Christian will have it consequences. People say the Lord won't have us go through the tribulation because he loves us. Many of those that say that are some that really don't have regard for him.

My life is sheer terror during the week; the devil makes an open sport of my life and treats me with contempt. If your are having trouble dealing with daily life because you love the Lord in a way people can see that, the good news is The Lord had a special care for you when trouble comes and you will see how he will provide for you when trouble comes. If you openly acknowledge me before men, I will openly acknowledge you before the angel of God in heaven. If anyone listens to my sayings the will be like a wise man who built his house upon a rock. Forgive and you will b forgiven. Jesus. May you be blessed and may God have everlasting dominion and glory. Amen.

Laying the water low...But if you have The Bread of Life, you are safe...!

In this wonderful Saturday, we turn to Prov. 12:9,

["...9He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread...]

Do feel like if sometimes you are despised for this or that or even your beliefs, ethinic group or country of origin or even gender or marital status or age or... It seem that there a lot of despising going on. There's 24/7 hate campaing going on constantly. Democrat vs. Republican, men agains women, old against young, colored against white and foreign against domestic. But not all of us have servants and some of us are the servants. Sometimes I'm giving orders and sometime I take them. I wish I had a servant.

Do you honor yourself or do I wait until someone else lift me up? Do walk in a cloud or am I the cloud? or do I have clout? Do I like meetings or do them bore me? Am I happy in my job? Am I happy housewife? Am I a satisfied husband? Devoted Father? Diligent worker? Faithful prayer warrior? What am I? And how and or am I? Do I like bread? Do I have sufficient bread? Is my pantry full? Half full? Almost empty? Is my bank account a sorry red ink scribble?

Do I feel I need to be accepted? Lay low the water so to keep things in perspective? How would I treat a servant if I had one? Do I really think I'm something when I'm nothing? Do I have a trophy case full or empty? What do I trophy in? Is there any bread, money to count or worthy of counting? Have I made a plan to met the immediate future and the far off? Have I really understood my predicament? Do I have any freinds? Have I called any of them in the last two days?

What is the most neediful thing? We turn to Jeremiah 9:20-24,

["...20Yet hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation.

21For death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the streets.

22Speak, Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather them.

23Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:

24But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD...]

No it is not the time to be clever but fearful. Glory! Glory! in this that we know the Lord and his annoited king and high preist Jesus. Fearful things may unveil but the Lord is a strong Rock to those who put their trust on him. Bye.

"For a fistful of dollars..."

I was watching the final part of the movie, classic western with Clint Eastwood. I suppose it was his first 'Dirty Harry' movie. I hope I got that right. But I had to stand by the television to help the antenna get the signal. If I would step back the picture would break. I had to stand all through the movie. I guess this performance had standing room only. But why do we do what we do? Certainly the gospel is profitable in all ways. It helps me to proclaim it and it help those who hear and accept it. Or is just for a fistful of dollar that we do what we do?

What if that was a fact? That the gospel gave up dollars? I don't thing the gopel is a pollyana platitude you just go over and over to sound perhaps 'religious'. Is that why we go around carrying bible, writing blogs, comments and sending perhaps messages to some. The fact of the matter is that the message of the gospel has real redemption to the giver as well as the receiver of such a gospel. You know, we know, I know what Psalm 41 says to those who have regard for the weak? Real blessing and favor with God.

But what if the gospel gave up dollars? A fistful of dollars, like the movie? The truth of the matter is that the gospel has real wealth to distribute to those who indulge in spreading the good news. Real upward mobility occurs when we tell others about Christ. But I'm talking about proclaiming the real Christ, who really believes on what the bible says. Paul exhorts to not be wary in well doing because in due time we shall reap a harvest. There's real power in the gospel to redeem from hell and from poverty.

And the opposite is also true. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge! There's real poverty in ignorance about the ways of God. The world is poor because they have never been to taugh the basics of sharing a pound of flour with a needy neighbor. God say that it is more blessed to give than to recieve. If everyone gave up a little something to some unsuspecting by-stander we would not have poverty. And this is not about amounting wealth! It's about the richness of giving it all away, even a little, perhaps trust God with two mites, like the widow did.

But this in not about the two mites, it's about believing God. I'm poor because I don't believe God. Psalm 23 says, "The Lord is my Sheperd, I shall not want..." Have I really belived that. Those who have financial difficulties or unemployed or just want to have a better life, have you believe God? Honestly? Does the Pastor who teaches me at my church really believe God? Or is he or she just picking and choosing what he or she find plausible to the human mind to believe? That is not believing God. It is not until you believe God that he believes you when you come to pray and confess him as your Lord. May you be blessed. Amen.
