Are we living in the last days and what should we do ?
Year 2012, twelve years after 2000, when preachers were warning about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. I have seen the years of optimism in nations before but now 2012 we seem to be facing a close door which we can not see what is on the other side.
For 32 years I have been living in America, and I have seen its glory and I seem to be witnessing its decline. The much awaited United States of Europe or European Common Market, who was full of promises, nowseems to be shaky.
I will let you observe what is going on around you and evaluate for yourself.
For me if preachers were warning then, unless our planet is rejuvenating which is not, then we are just closing in to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Yes I believe we are in the last days, as signs continue to show. Is this a time to be worried ? Not me I am waiting for Jesus Christ. Shall I just sit around and do nothing ? No, I will try to do what I believe Jesus wants me to do.
Although it is sad to see Christians still debating and arguing as to who is right.
As Jesus said Love one another even as I have loved you.
The Roman Catholic Church is the biggest Christian church in the world,so I ask , is it enough ? In my Christian life, I had the experience to be in, near or hear different Christian Churches in my 55 years of my life out of my 60 years, actually 60 years of church life if one will include my infant baptism.
This blog is not meant to start a debate, but to share a personal and honest recollection. As a whole I needed all the experiences I had with Christian churches and non Christian churches. So to answer the question, I believe we need more than the Roman Catholic Church either to reinforce our Christian beliefs or at least make us understand our faith or at least know what others believe. A word of caution: one need to be careful who we study with and do not forget to honestly and sincerely pray for truth.
To say which is the best church is not for me to answer or know. But I will encourage every Christian to at least know what we believe and why and also live our faith.
