We live in a world of different religions. We have Jews, Muslims, Christians , Hindus, Buddhists, atheists, agnostics, Shintos, Animists etc.
Everybody seems to believe that their prayers are being answered.
I read there is a movement to have a one world religion.
Being a Christian , you probably know what my answer will be.That only the Christian God answers prayers. Let me correct myself , the other gods answer prayers too but there is a God above all gods. I remember reading the Bible where it says God's sun shine on the just and the unjust. And God's rain falls on everyone. Wait the Bible also says that the devil is the god of this world. There is a story in the New Testament that the devil offered Jesus the kingdoms of this world if Jesus will fall down and worship satan.
For me the answer is it matters who we pray to, what is yours ?
I have been researching on potable water in my effort to help my hometown in our water supply. I was shocked to find out that the problem is worldwide.Man has been polluting the water, and our technology appears to cause global warming which could in turn be causing death of sea creatures around the world. Somehow in view of this apparent losing battle I feel like just taking it easy and just look up and wait for the coming of Jesus Christ.
Unless mankind learn to process sea water at economical way or something else, the world as we know it may not be here for very long time based on water condition alone.
Even the Bible as written in Revelation 16:3 & 4 foretold of angels turning sea water and rivers and springs of water into blood thereby killing the creatures that are in them.
God promised that He will no longer destroy mankind with water but man is doing it to himself by its way of dealing with water.
Let me be open and honest with you, the answer as to the role of internet is still unclear to me, the Internet as some has referred is a poor mans way of spreading the gospel. Why ?anybody with knowledge of computer and internet connection and with knowledge of the Bible can write something and send it to friends and even to the whole world. But are lives changed through the internet ? Are churches formed because of internet ? Do they last or they are here now and gone tomorrow ?
Personally, without leaving my house I am able to share the gospel through the Internet to wherever it goes. But am I really making a difference or anybody for that matter ?
Does anybody got the answer ?
P.S. I just noticed this I been blogging for about two years, and my record shows I got 20,569 views but some of those are duplicates and some are coming from myself. Even if I say only have 1,000 or 100 views, I am happy and feel that it is all worth it. I am also in Facebook, some of my friends there I got through participating in Christian websites like this, now that I am writing this, seems like I am going somewhere and if that is the case, then to God be the glory.
