DEVELOPING A KINGDOM MINDSET

"'The Kingdom of Heaven is near.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." - Matthew 10:7-9 NIV

Will we, today, remain stuck in an old pattern of thinking, or an old pattern of religious performance?

We can no longer remain lukewarm concerning co-laboring with Him and promoting the Kingdom of God. Many Believers have a mindset that we are simply holding on until Jesus comes. No! We are not on the defense, we are on the offense. Get a mindset today that we are advancing! We are moving forward as a mighty army taking ground for Kingdom advancement!

Today, shift into Kingdom reality. Develop an advancing attitude. Determine that you are not retreating but rather advancing! As we pursue this type of Kingdom mentality, know this for a fact: in Kingdom reality, disease cannot stay; poverty cannot stay; devastation cannot stay and shame cannot stay!

To co-labor effectively with God, there must be a complete dependence on His grace.

The mindset that we must hold onto what we have will rob potential Kingdom seed from being sown. Only true multiplication can come from sacrifice of giving in all areas of life.

Remain determined that you are contending for this now!

Albert Finch Ministry - Daily Devotional - January 31, 2020

Hebrews 5:14, 6:1 - "But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity."

In the letter to the Hebrews, the recipients had long been Christians, who by then ought to have been teaching others. Instead, they were still like infants needing to be fed milk (Hebrews 5:12-14).

They were to go on to maturity, to the status of spiritual adults, and to more profound truths concerning our right standing with God and the authority and identity given to the believer as a result of Christ's finished work.

Yield yourself fully to Christ and find in Him the hidden life. Then you will grow in grace and learn to mentor other baby Christians into becoming spiritually mature in advancing the Kingdom.

CHANGE IS IN THE AIR

"The season has now changed, the bondage your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone, the rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for pruning the vines has arrived. This new day of destiny breaking forth around you... the early signs of My purposes and plans are bursting forth, the budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere; the fragrance of their flowers whispers: "THERE IS CHANGE IN THE AIR..."' - Song of Songs 2:11-13, The Passion Translation

With a sense of excited expectancy, through faith, the Lord is leading us into changes that are not only bringing tremendous breakthrough, manifestation of promises, radical provision, visions of the future and hope like never before (Jeremiah 29:11), but implanting within the people of God a BIGGER seed to believe for the impossible.

MUCH PRUNING HAS TAKEN PLACE

There are swift changes upon the people of God that are going to be some of the greatest changes they have yet seen.
There has been much pruning that has taken place to prepare the people of God to move into these changes. You have been perfectly placed now to move into greater realms of faith to believe for greater things and SEE them manifest.

As you have NOT GIVEN UP you are stepping through the threshold of CHANGES. Glorious changes! Change is in the air!

MORE THAN WE CAN ASK OR THINK

What He has told you and SO MUCH MORE awaits you on the other side of your perseverance and faith.
EVERY time you have said YES,
Every time you have refused to give up,
EVERY prayer you have prayed,
EVERY time you have put one foot in front of the other,
EVERY time you have delighted in Him, praised Him, He SEES IT ALL!
He has seen EVERYTHING you have sown and has not turned His face away, but stored that seed in His heart to GERMINATE and now it is going to produce MORE ABUNDANCE than you can dream of.

Ephesians 3:20 is the banner over you! "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us..."

Some of these changes upon you are going to PROPEL YOU into the next step of your DESTINY! Walking through this door with Him in the spirit labeled "changes" is going to CHANGE EVERYTHING!

Get ready for a radically, glorious, heavenly, life change makeover and a whole new realm of GLORIOUS encounters with your GOOD, GOOD FATHER!

Albert Finch Ministry - Daily Devotional - January 30, 2020

2 Peter 1:10 - "Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall."

You shall never fall. The devil's out there 24 hours a day devising ways to make us fall. Jesus is on the throne 24 hours a day giving us power to resist him, and we need to be exercising our faith all the time.

If you're going to stand in the days ahead, you're going to need a lot more than Sunday school Laodicean faith. You're going to need some full-grown, mountain-moving faith, and there's only one way to get that:  by giving yourself to the Word daily more diligently than you ever have before.

Give diligence to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen; and no matter how slippery the situation gets, you won't have to fall!

Seeking Communion - January 30, 2020

He is calling many of His people out of still, dead works in 2020. He is calling them to come in to where there is the action of His Spirit. When there is action there will bring a reaction. It will be a reaction of healing, of salvation, of the baptism of His Spirit. Get ready to be a people who look for the 'reactor' of the Lord your God.

In this process, many are going to be compelled in the midnight hours to fall on their knees and ask for fresh revelation of their CALLING in Christ. He is shutting down doors to places where you have become to be comfortable in. He is going to close single doors; but He is going to open double doors.

"The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." - John 3:8

The reason single doors will close is because it will be the singleness of man's thinking that He will be closing down. The double doors He is going to open is going to be 'the double door' that will cause the waters to part for His Spirit to come in and visit fresh upon His people to fill their lack of understanding and revelation.

LAUGHTER, HEALING, AND HOPE

True humility comes when you rejoice in Him and acknowledge His greatness. He will bless His own with laughter, and healing, and hope. For He is about to put up the trumpet and you will hear a new sound that will go forth, but you will recognize it because of the discernment He has put into your spirit. You will recognize the right call with the right note. And you will jump, and your spirit will leap, with acknowledgment of His Spirit. He is reawakening His faithful who have gotten discouraged.

So be not concerned for changes, but keep your eyes fixed upon Him, for assignments will overtake you, and you will know they are by His Spirit. For there will come forth one voice, one battle cry, one agreement, and one provision, and it will be done by His Spirit.

"....Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts." - Zechariah 4:6

CONSUMED IN HIM

"...Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning? Those who walk righteously and speak what is right....their bread will be supplied, and water will not fail them. Your eyes will see the King in His beauty and view a land that stretches afar." - Isaiah 33:14-17

The "everlasting burning" in this verse is not Hell, but rather is speaking of God. God is an all-consuming fire, and we are to become ignited so that we are fully consumed in Him. We are to become like Him by allowing the fire of God to consume all darkness and flesh so that we will walk righteously, speak truth, reject evil, and begin to dwell in the high places.

THE MOUNTAIN WHERE GOD'S FIRE DWELLS

What is the answer that the Apostle John gives?
It is this: "...he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God..." - 1 John 4:16

This is the high place that He is calling His children to dwell in. He is calling us to come to the high place where we will encounter the "burning bush" of His love, which will consume and purify every dark place—igniting even the light within us with the fire of His love. You will become a person who dwells in the fire of God.

There is an invitation before each of us, right now, to come up to the mountain and ask for the fire to consume us. He will respond to our faith that says, "Yes!"

It was upon the mountain, where Moses stood before the burning bush that introduced him to I AM. It was there that Moses began his journey "to be the man who would set the captives free."

We too must ascend to the mountain of God to be consumed by Him and His love, so that we too will see our captivity overthrown; and we will be prepared to set the captives free. To truly love, we must become love and must believe and meditate for His love to penetrate our innermost being so it can flow through our lives into the lives of others.

"Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are My disciples." - John 13:35

Albert Finch Ministry - Daily Devotional - January 29, 2020

Psalms 62:5-8 - "My soul, wait in silence for God only, for my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us."

In His Presence Are the Answers That You Seek. Wear the crown of glory that He would have you wear uprightly. Lay down any identity that man would come with. Man would come and try to push His crown off your head, and put upon it a counterfeit identity.

Lay down all these things that rush into your mind – to where you cannot even come into His presence, because your mind, your spirit, is somewhere else. Call everything that would command you to give up dreams and visions and hope – command it to be cast behind you, for it is of the enemy.

Let His Spirit rule and reign. Let Him begin to flow out of you – with discernment, with knowledge, with worship. Practice this when you're alone.

UTILIZING OUR RESURRECTION POWER

"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." - Romans 8:11

If God the Father was able to breathe new life into the lifeless body of His Son, then you and I are also beneficiaries of this great gift – given to us when Jesus died and was raised from the dead. But it's up to us to grab hold of this gift in faith and believe it as if it were so, because it only comes alive for us as we apply it and say, "It's mine, and I'm not taking no for an answer!" Once we do that we are supernaturally empowered and energized by the mighty power of God—unstoppable!

Psalm 84:11 says, "No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly." That means that He will never refuse to restore to those who ask for help. No one is too far gone if they're still alive and breathing air. In fact, Psalm 116:2 puts it this way: "Because He bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!"

Jesus was raised from the dead by the power of God the Father, and that very same power already resides in us because His Holy Spirit lives inside us. With this inborn power, God can resurrect our dreams, our godly ambitions, and our passions. Every good thing that's been lost can be restored to even greater heights through the miraculous power of God.

Albert Finch Ministry - Daily Devotional - January 28, 2020

Colossians 3:2 - "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth."

This is a time to be fully aware and fully impassioned for the things of God. Do not let the noise and distraction of the things of the world steal your attention in this critical hour! Set your full affections completely on the things that are above and don't be swayed by anything this world has to offer.

When your mind is cluttered with religious mindsets (which often we don't realize), they block the light of revelation. There are spirits attached to strong mindsets, and people become immovable.

Prayer:

LORD JESUS, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WALKS SILENTLY IN THE INNERMOST SANCTUARY OF MY SOUL. SO CAREFULLY YOU WEAVE YOURSELF INTO THE FIBERS OF MY BEING. TOUCH ME WITH YOUR CLEANSING, RENEWING FIRE.

ENGAGING OUR HEART AND MIND

Psalm 1:2,3 - "in His law he MEDITATES day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper."

There are specifically three areas of meditation that we can engage in as Believers so that our heart and mind will be captured in the glory of Who God is. These areas include the Word of God, the voice of God, and the testimonies of God.

1. The Word of God:
– Cleanses, purifies and protects the heart (Psalm 119:11)
– Separates the soul and spirit (Hebrews 4:12)
– Brings light of revelation, driving out the darkness (Psalm 119:130)
– Washes by the Spirit (Ephesians 5:26)
– Prospers our spirit, soul, and body (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)
– Brings healing (Proverbs 4:22)
– Revives (Psalm 119:25)

2. The Voice of God
Another powerful area of meditation is the revelation that God gives to us through His voice speaking personally to us. How is God speaking to you? Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice...and they follow Me" (John 10:27).

If we don't have expectation, then we have no faith to hear.  Have faith that God wants to flow through your life to impact others.

Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

Our belief and faith give us the following action of diligent pursuit to lay hold of the reward that He has for us. Believe God, hear His voice, and diligently seek Him.

3. The Testimonies of What God Has Done

What prayers has He answered in your life?

What is your personal testimony of coming to Jesus Christ? Then we also have all of the testimonies of what God has done in the Bible. These are our own testimonies as well, through inheritance.

We see it all through the Psalms, how we are to remember the works of the Lord. We should meditate on all the things that Jesus did in His earthly ministry: the miracles, healings, deliverances, including other acts of His love and truth. The Book of Acts is a book of the things God did, how He worked through His Church, showing He is alive and active.

MAKING THE CONSCIOUS CHOICE

The fact is that we are always meditating on something, thinking about something, or giving our thoughts over to something. Psalm 1 makes it clear that there is a right kind of meditation that God wants us to engage in.
Choosing what we meditate on is hugely important because it is the difference between meditating and "communing" with the spirit of the world versus the Spirit of God.
