Psalm 42:2 - "My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?"
How can you acquire an intimate experience of the presence of God in your communion with Him?
Believe with your whole heart that He offers Himself as the listener. Give God the opportunity to make Himself known to you when you approach Him in prayer. You will never discover this, however, if you do not take time to have genuine fellowship with God.
The power of prayer does not lie in the number or earnestness of the words you use, but in a living faith that God Himself accepts both you and your prayer into His loving heart.
The "Giants of Intimidation" have risen before many of the people of God -- representing circumstances from waiting for the breakthrough, to pressing issues, to demonic attacks, to accusations, to hopelessness.
The common denominator of these giants, whether the circumstances before the people of God are hard, discouraging and trying, or the breakthrough has begun and the change seems overwhelming – the purpose of these giants arising is to bring intimidation and to stop the people of God from moving forward in God's PURPOSE for their lives.
The intimidation screams lies about who God is and who they are. Their main assignment is to bring the people of God to a place where they would RETREAT.
STANDING IN HIS PEACE
As whirlwinds of glorious love are being released from the heart of the Father, and swirling in the midst of these whirlwinds is the Scripture, Song of Songs 2:13: "Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me."
As we position ourselves under these whirlwinds of love we are taken UP to a higher place. This higher place is higher and deeper -- it is a place of deeper intimacy and higher clarity.
In "positioning" before Him, in the secret place -- in the place of deeper intimacy, we step intoPhilippians 4:6-7: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
As we commune, the supernatural peace that is already ours in Christ becomes a TANGIBLE MANIFESTATION in our hearts and lives. Where in the "natural" their circumstances would usually lead us into tailspins of fear and intimidation, they stand in CONFIDENCE and PEACE in Him. We not only step "back into peace" but deeper into peace than ever before, because we have stepped DEEPER into His heart.
A NEW DAY OF DESTINY!
As we step out and face our GIANTS we declare the same thing: "I KNOW who my God is. His name is FAITHFUL and the One who IS WITH ME AND GOES BEFORE ME."
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." - Hebrews 12:1 "My beloved responded and said to me, Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come along. For behold the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers have already appeared in the land; The time has arrived for pruning the vines." - Song Of Solomon 3:11,12
The VERY GIANTS of intimidation that have risen out of nowhere have been blocking something VERY KEY: "A NEW DAY OF DESTINY". On the other side of these giants of intimidation, you are facing is your new day of DESTINY.
Can you not discern, this new day of DESTINY breaking forth around you? The early signs of advancing His PURPOSES and plans are bursting forth and the budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of flowers whispers, 'There is change in the air.'
Press in, go deeper -- your requests be made known to God and trust Him, for the TANGIBLE PEACE OF GOD that surpasses all understanding is about to make MORE SENSE to you than it EVER has. That peace of knowing WHO HE IS and who YOU ARE in Him, is about to see those giants slayed and you move into a new day of the DESTINY in Christ you were meant to have.
2 Kings 13:17-19 - “Elisha declared. ‘You will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek.’ Then he said, ‘Take the arrows,’ and the king took them. Elisha told him, 'Strike the ground.’ He struck it three times and stopped. The man of God was angry with him and said, 'You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it.”
Be silent no more! Strike the ground! Believe that you are powerful and step into the fulfillment of God’s purpose for your life. Sanctify your tongue unto Him so that only praises flow from your mouth and not curses. Walk in forgiveness, daily, so that your arrows remain sharp and none will fall to the ground.
He is advancing in the earth and together you will take new territory for the Kingdom of Light. “Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.” (Psalm 81:10)
John 6:55,56,60 -- "For my flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.' Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, 'this is a hard saying; who can understand it?'"
John 6:63 -- "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life."
If I don't feed myself on stuff that is Holy Spirit food -- if I only feed myself on stuff that I understand then I have stunted my own spiritual growth.
When I only say amen to things that I comprehend then I have just decided to live a very dwarfed spiritual life. What I have done is fashioned a god that looks much like me because he is the one that I can comprehend.
Galatians 5:25 -- "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."
John 16:13 -- "However when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth."
Jesus ignored what His natural eyes told Him, and He declared what His spiritual eyes saw. He saw the heart of God and the mind of God which was far more of a reality than what His physical senses told Him.
Faith is the bridge between the eternal (the unseen) and the temporal (the seen). In prayer, we can cross that bridge and see as God sees. Real prayer is not just words, but intently waiting on God until we (by the Spirit) see what He is seeing.
The Word says I can hear God's voice and I believe it - I do hear the voice of God!
Nothing's wrong with God, nothing's wrong with the Word and nothing's wrong with me! I am going to receive my miracle!
Extravagant worship is my lifestyle.
2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” As the glory of God comes, there’s also power. In Acts 1:8 it says, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;...."
As you TURN UP YOUR EXPECTANCY that this will be one of the most powerful times of increase that will come from the glory and the power of the Lord in your life. This increase will come as a result of God’s Glory and God’s Power that you encounter fresh every day. Go into this season with a HIGHER LEVEL OF EXPECTATION than your previous season -- the Lord is going to strengthen you, anoint you, empower you, and favor you to see even greater increase in this new season of time.
There are things that He has purposed for you; there are things the Lord wants to strengthen you to believe for again. In His glory and power, there is no limitation. Because of His unlimited supply, we can see limits lifted off. We can see great and mighty things take place because of the unlimited realm of God. Lift your vision higher. Set your expectation on the Lord WORKING THROUGH YOU.
Isaiah 43:25,26 - “I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins. Put Me in remembrance, let us argue our case together; State your cause, that you may be proved right.”
As long as you allow the devil to keep reminding you of past sins and failures, he will take advantage of you. Constantly dwelling on the past will keep your faith inoperative. And as long as you have no confidence in your own faith, your prayers will be hindered.
Why does God say that He won’t remember our sins for His own sake? So that He can bless us! He blots out our sins for His own sake so He can help us and demonstrate His great mercy and love on our behalf.
Revelation 4:1 -- "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven..."
If we will live in the awareness of the heavenly, we must be freed from the boundaries of the earthly. To awaken faith, the Holy Spirit will take us through times when the presence of God cannot be clearly discerned.
Psalm 13:1 -- "How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord? forever? how long with thou hide thy face from me?"
We should not accept that God has permanently hidden Himself from us, though during trials it may seem so. He is teaching us to SEE IN THE DARK and to hear in the silence. He is making Himself known to our inner man so that, regardless of outer circumstances, we can CONTINUALLY be led by led by His Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18 -- "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit"
OUR VISION MUST BECOME SPIRITUAL
To see God, it is imperative that our vision becomes spiritual and not just sensory. To hear God, we must learn to tune out the clamor of our fears and earthly desires.
The time of darkness, though it comes as an enemy, actually compels us to seek God more earnestly; we learn to even more revere God's light. Ultimately, we will discover the truth of what Isaiah wrote, that "the whole earth is full of God's glory" (Isaiah 6:3).
The Bible was written by individuals who actually beheld the glory of God. To see the glory of God is our call as well. Our spiritual vision is not an imaginary device of the mind, but that which comes from the living union of the Holy Spirit with our hearts.
Matthew 5:8 -- "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."
PERSISTENCE IS THE ANSWER
It is reasonable to expect that, if Christ truly dwells within us, we ought to perceive life with unveiled minds? We remove the veils of sin, shame, and self-absorption, by persisting in seeking God. If we stay focused upon His Spirit and Word, we should expect to see the glory of the Lord.
I expect that, NOW, -- as I enter my prayer room or go for a walk, or in a dream -- the Spirit of God is going to appear to me in some marvelous and life-changing way.
2 Corinthians 4:3,4 - “And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."
Since God doesn’t save anyone against their will, does it really do any good to pray for people who consciously refuse to receive Jesus as Lord? YES IT DOES!
Unbelievers who have purposely refused to receive Jesus as Lord think they’ve made that decision of their own free will – the truth is, they haven’t. The Word of God says they’ve been blinded by Satan. He’s Blocking their perception of the truth. So their decision hasn’t been freely made at all.
Through the prayer of intercession, you can interfere with the satanic forces and help take those blinders off! You can also change circumstances with your prayers and help create situations that will bring them in contact with the Lord. Believe when you pray and open their eyes to the glorious gospel of God.
1 John 3:2 -- "Beloved, now are we the sons of God......"
We will not become the sons of God when we get to heaven. We are sons of God now. If we aren't sons of God here, we won't make it to heaven.
We must have within us the image that God has of us: then we will be enlightened and see that God's fullness will dwell in us as we keep His Word.
Job 3:25 -- "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me."
The words we speak create: (1) images either of faith-based on the authority of God's Word or(2) fear based on our failure to believe and act on God's Word. Just as faith in God's word gives substance to things hoped for (desired), on the other hand, fear gives substance to things not desired.
The point is that every circumstance or situation life is subject to change if we are consistent to do what Jesus said in Mark 11:23,24; Luke 17:6; and John 15:7. But on the other hand, if we speak words of doubt, fear, and unbelief, we may establish bad situations and circumstances in our life forever.
Ephesians 4:29 -- "...Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."
I minister others into Christ, disciple them, and equip them to disciple others.
As I sit at the feet of Jesus I labor for the meat that He gives me which endures unto everlasting life.
I am becoming a passenger in the vehicle of His will, a vehicle in which He Himself is both captain and navigator.
Ephesians 3:20 - "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."
Out of the box thinking realizes there is no box. You are the limitless PURPOSE and MANIFESTATION of God's glory, released into the earth with the same anointing, mission, and message Jesus had over 2,000 years ago.
You now live beyond the dimension of needing your needs met, and you live in that kingdom dimension of being the conduit of blessing for others.
Out of the box thinking and living eliminates both the box and the notions of religious confinement that the box created. You now understand that the glory that was on Jesus is now on you...so you are God's glory walking throughout the earth called on assignment to be the answer to someone else's question and the breakthrough for someone else's bondage.
"Behold, you are fair, my love! behold, you are fair! You have dove's eyes." - Song of Solomon 1:15 "But seek you first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you." - Matthew 6:33
If we will respond and seek the Lord above all of the other pressures and demands on our time, and tell Him that we desire Him with "a single eye," He will then respond and say to us, "Behold, you are fair, you have dove's eyes." Now, we are ready to be led into a further experience of union with Jesus in the outworking of His Kingdom purposes upon the earth.
Today, the Lord is seeking those who are willing to be reduced to having this singleness of vision.
Learn to linger with Him. For the enemy would set up snare, after snare, after snare, to captivate your soul in pain, and imprison you, to where you can not seek His face. But know that He hears. Know that He knows. Know that He has not come to harm you, nor has He set His hand against you, nor has He set His face against you. But has extended His goodness, and His love, and His mercy, and His arms open to you.
Let Him embrace your tears. Let Him embrace your temple. Let Him become known to you as the 'Embraceable Savior.' He is going to brace you, and brace you, and brace you up. And He is going to erase the fingerprints of man. For man has been sent in for destruction, after destruction. It has not been His hand of destruction.
Ask Him to restrain all warfare against you. Learn to rest and sleep upon His Word, and let His Word become active. And as it does, let Him captivate your mind, your heart, your body, and your soul, until you are so devoured in the knowledge of the goodness and the love of God.
He would baptize you today, fresh, and strong, in the fire of the warmth of His love. He would take hearts that have grown cold from pain and rejection, and say, 'Beat again unto life.'
Pick up the rhythm of His Spirit. Cast down death, and pain, and begin to jump. Begin to clap. Begin to set your spirit free, to press through, so He can press out of you, and bring forth the report of the Lord. Know that many things will be changed, for He is FOR you, not against you.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls, For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." - Matthew 11:28-30
2 Peter 1:4 - “you may become partakers of the divine nature,"
Wherever Jesus went, multitudes followed Him, because He lived, moved, breathed, was swallowed up, clothed, and filled by God. He left 120 men to turn the world upside down.
The Spirit is upon us to change our situation. We must move on; we must let God increase in us for the deliverance of souls to be born and quickened into a relationship with Heaven. Jesus had divine authority with power, and He left it for us.
We must thirst more for God. Let us live in holiness, and God will enable us to do the purpose to which we are appointed. All Jesus said came to pass: signs, wonders, mighty deeds. Only believe, and yield and yield and yield, until all the vision is fulfilled.
