"Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers." - 3 John 2

The emotions that come with trauma such as cynicism, distrust, bitterness, shame, and envy, to name a few, will be a major deterrent to our vision and we could miss having the ability to see with the accuracy that we all want. To see as He sees, shouldn't we be healed from those things that cause us to "see dimly"?

There is a grace right now in 2019 to partner with Heaven and be healed in every area and take part in ushering in the year 2020, seeing things in the light of Heaven and seeing fruit bearing from the things that God has purposed for us.

The should'ves, could'ves, and would'ves will be a thing of the past as we live with pristine vision and foresight. We will indeed be "forgetting what lies behind and pressing forward to our higher calling" (see Philippians 3:13) and become more familiar with where we are going than where we have been. We will have a fresh anointing and will see, through crystal clear eyes, the path before us and be much more familiar with WHERE WE ARE GOING, not where we have been. When we do our part toward healing in our minds and emotions, our physical bodies, and our spirits, he will do far above and beyond on our behalf and those whose lives we will touch!

The very first miracle of Jesus turning water into wine in John 2 provides some clues as to how we might access the reality of what we have read and studied in His Word.

There was a wedding in Cana of Galilee. Jesus was there and a need arose. Jesus was asked, and He responded by turning the water into wine. He thus openly revealed His glory for the first time in public. This miracle opened the flow for others, and Jesus went on to heal the official's son, then the invalid by the pool of Bethesda (see John 4 & 5).

Jesus revealed the source of these first three miracles by saying: "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself; He can only do what He sees the Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all He does. Yes, to your amazement He will show Him even greater things than these" (John 5:19-20 NIV).

The New Living Translation sheds further light on verse 20 of John chapter 5"For the Father loves the Son and shows Him everything He is doing. In fact, the Father will show Him how to do even greater works than healing this man. Then you will truly be astonished."

From these verses we learn that Jesus could do only what He saw the Father doing, and that the Father would show Him how to do even greater works. As we abide in Him, hear His heartbeat, and get onto His page, we too can ask the Father

FIRSTLY to show us what He is doing, and then to show us how to do even greater works.

SECONDLY, the miracle occurred to meet a need and because Jesus was asked. May we have the courage to ask Him to meet our needs and the needs of others.

THIRDLY, we note that the miracle was done in public, revealing His glory for the first time and opening the flow for the ensuing miracles. Let us pray for the breakthrough of the revelation of His glory which will allow the flow of His miracles through our lives.

When seeing the things of God, we still have our physical eyes on what we view in the natural realm, but we need to ask the Lord to give us the Spirit of revelation in order to open the eyes of our hearts so we can look beyond the physical into the Spirit realm, enabling us to realize the full depth of what God sees in the situation.

Our seeing beyond the natural or outside the box may well require us to step out in faith. Peter modeled this for us when Jesus bade him to "come" and he stepped out of the boat onto the water. God promises when we step out in faith at His bidding, that the unknown beneath our feet will become solid ground.

John 14:12 - "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."
Jeremiah 33:3 - "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know."

Lord, please show me what You are doing. Please show me how to do even greater works. Bid me to come, to step out of the boat onto the water into the DESTINY You have prepared for me, and to add action to my faith. Take me outside the box of my current understanding and grant to me the spirit of wisdom and revelation so that I will not judge by what my eyes see in the natural, but that by the power of Your Holy Spirit I will begin to see and hear and feel and taste and touch the reality of what I have read and studied in Your Book! May I delight in what You show me, then step out and follow Your lead. In Jesus name, Amen.

Seeking Communion - February 25, 2019

"He that dweleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." - Psalm 91:1

Freedom is found in "stepping in" -- your intimacy with Jesus is your greatest weapon.

The Lord is always calling us to live outside our comfort zones; to live in a place of total dependence upon Him. Many Believers are wrestling with the question, "How do I take steps out in the natural to GET FREE AND RECEIVE BREAKTHROUGH?" It is in facing the fear, the wrong beliefs, the hurt, pain, trauma, and fear in the secret place with Him that is going to set you free!

The enemy is wanting many warriors to step back onto the battlefield. Through some ways, these battles have been fought in the past with the intention to get free and overcome, but the past STEPPING OUT hasn't brought freedom but pain, trauma and wounding because of the uncovering of the heart (which is the enemy's strategy again) but there is a new strategy upon the warriors.

Focus on STEPPING INTO THE SECRET PLACE more than ever before. Position yourself before Jesus and He is going to meet you and overwhelm you with His love. Many warriors are being called to rest, and move into a hidden place before the Lord, so He can heal their hearts and souls.

The reason the Lord is focusing upon the stepping in rather than stepping out right now, is because there are cracks in foundations that He sees. These "cracks" in foundations need to be healed by the revelation of His love and kindness so you can be strengthened, healed, filled again and then sent out again.

Don't allow the enemy to tell you that by focusing on the STEPPING IN that you are losing ground. The opposite is true. You are gaining ground by stepping in. Don't let the enemy tell you that you won't get your breakthrough by stepping in. Right now for many, your breakthrough will come in double portions in the secret place.

The scariest place right now is allowing Him into those wounded, fear-filled, hurting places of your heart—the real broken places. In some ways, it would be easier to do what you have done in the past to overcome, but there's a new strategy upon you. It's to open up those parts of your heart to Him and let Him in, and watch and see the resurrection life that will burst forth and the healing that will come.

Many have held it together for so long "fighting the good fight" when their hearts have been breaking inside and you have been so wounded. Let Him come, soothe your hurting heart and soul and make you whole. His plans for you are good, to prosper you, and not to harm you (see Jeremiah 29:11).

John 14:30 - ".......for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me."

Pauperhood is relegated to the children of a lesser god. It is the condition of slaves who have yet to discover their freedom on the other side of the river of baptism and find themselves still captured by the dark prince of torture and torment. He is the one who assigns them to a life of poverty, pain, and depression through a diabolical play of illusion. He hopes to conceal their true identity forever.

This evil prince feeds his captives the poisonous rations of religion, convincing them they will fill their soul's hunger for righteousness. These slaves, blindfolded by their sin, think that they are laboring for their own freedom and work to pave their way out of prison with bricks built from the miry clay of self-righteousness. Yet, unknowingly, brick by brick, they are erecting their own chambers of death. Worse yet, they birth children into the same darkness, ultimately creating legacies of bondage with mind-sets of hopelessness.

Psalm 42:1 - "As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after Thee, O God."

Jeremiah 29:13 - "And ye shall seek Me, and find Me when ye shall search for Me with all your heart."

Ecclesiastes 9:10 - "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might."

"Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me and I in him." - John 6:53,54,56

Some have gotten away from the true knowledge of the power of His Blood, and yet they wonder where the power is.

In many cases the "Blood of the Gospel" has been put aside; to pat the hand of others and give sympathy. And really what happened was that it became a counterfeit compassion that really encouraged the flesh, rather than bringing the flesh into obedience to the Word.

Declare His Word to come forth. Command His Word to become alive and active. Let His Word devour your flesh so that you can be so devouring with His Word, that all that will not obey, will have to bend, because His Word is eternal.

"'The Kingdom of Heaven is near.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." - Matthew 10:7-9 NIV

Will we, today, remain stuck in an old pattern of thinking, or an old pattern of religious performance?

We can no longer remain lukewarm concerning co-laboring with Him and promoting the Kingdom of God. Many Believers have a mindset that we are simply holding on until Jesus comes. No! We are not on the defense, we are on the offense. Get a mindset today that we are advancing! We are moving forward as a mighty army taking ground for Kingdom advancement!

Today, shift into Kingdom reality. Develop an advancing attitude. Determine that you are not retreating but rather advancing! As we pursue this type of Kingdom mentality, know this for a fact: in Kingdom reality, disease cannot stay; poverty cannot stay; devastation cannot stay and shame cannot stay!

To co-labor effectively with God, there must be a complete dependence on His grace.

The mindset that we must hold onto what we have will rob potential Kingdom seed from being sown. Only true multiplication can come from sacrifice of giving in all areas of life.

Remain determined that you are contending for this now!

The tendency to embrace the concept of God being an angry Father is done in equal proportion to a person's inability to demonstrate His power. There is a connection between our belief system and what actually flows through us. If we don't see Jesus' life as the ultimate illustration of the will of God, we will continually undermine our ability to display it.

The Holy Spirit always wants to demonstrate what God says. God confirmed the word with signs following (Mark 16:20).

In Hebrews 2:3-4 it says, "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?"
We know for sure that God wants to do signs and wonders and confirm His own word because scripture says so.

Some Christians think is it so spiritual to say, "I don't need signs and wonders."
Jesus actually relied on signs and wonders and manifestations. He went out of the way to make sure the Holy Spirit had an occasion to demonstrate the words He spoke.

Jesus said, "I am the bread of life" (John 6:35) and fed the 5,000. He said, "I am the resurrection and the life" (John 11:25) and He raised the dead. He said, "I am the light of the world" (John 8:12) and He opened the eyes of the blind. God always wants to do what He says. The Apostle Paul said, "And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power" (1 Corinthians 2:4).

The indwelling Holy Spirit enables us to bear more of the revelation of Jesus than was possible for the original twelve disciples.

One of the essential gestures of faith is to live with the expectation that the God who said that His sheep hear His voice and who gave His life to restore relationship with each of us would like to communicate with us. This faith leads us to lean into His voice.
"Speak Lord, for your servant is listening." - 1 Samuel 3:9

The heart of abiding faith "leans into God," anticipating His voice, looking for His next move. Like Jesus, we are to be able to say, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent me." (John 4:34)

God talks to us in various ways. He talks through the Bible which contains the Word of God, and He talks to us through the Holy Spirit who brings us life. The Holy Spirit was given the task of not simply revealing all that Jesus possesses, but to actually "disclose" it to us. Every declared promise is a transfer of heavenly resources that enable us to fulfill the purpose of our DESTINY.

"The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." (Rev. 19:10) - This says that if God has done it once, He is ready to do it again. The spoken or written record of whatever Jesus has done carries the prophetic anointing to cause a change in events in the spirit realm so that the miracle spoken of can happen again.

Meditating on the promises of God is something we can do in order to determine where we're going in life. When we DECLARE the Word over our own life and prophesy our own DESTINY in agreement with Him, we release the anointing of the Spirit in a greater measure to bring the Word to pass.

" shall meditate on it day and night....for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." - Joshua 1:8

"I am the rose of Sharon, The lily of the valleys. For behold the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. The flowers have already appeared in the land; The time has arrived for pruning the vines." - Song of Solomon 2:1,11,12

The Lord says He is called 'The Rose of Sharon'. For He wants His fragrance to be upon all His people. He wants His Presence to visit you in your home. He wants His Presence to take residence in your body. He wants your body to become a moving vessel for His Spirit. He wants your body to become temples – full, clean, pure, set aside, sanctified and holy – waiting for the Master to give the command.

He is looking for a Holy people; He has healed their hearts to such wholeness, that it is no longer about their brokenness, but it is about the brokenness of the sinner, and the lost, and the unsaved. But first, He will heal the hearts of His Bride, for He will take His Bride unto Himself, and He will put His kisses of healing upon her lips. And HE will make His declarations of loveliness, and holiness, and wholeness over her, for He is a jealous God and will have no other ahead of Him.

For He is the 'KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS', He rules and reigns in the highest and upon the earth. And He wants to rule upon the earth in your earthen vessel.
Yield to His Spirit, so His Spirit can yield to you. He will raise you up and train you. He will train you in His PURPOSE for your life and how to do warfare and will bring a victory, and you will not be weary in longsuffering.

This is a season of sharpening – iron upon iron; word upon word. Where you will take His Word and stand upon it, and rest upon it. Now let His Word become alive and active in you, so you will become His living epistle who walks the earth.

People will look upon you and they will see His light shining out of your eyes. You will lay your hands on the sick, and His power will flow through you unhindered, and there will be a rejoicing in Him.

"Lift up our heads, O gates, And be lifted up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in!" - Psalm 24:7

Psalm 32:6 - "Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found; surely in a flood of great waters they shall not reach Him."

We have been called to be the sons and daughters of the King who is above all kings. To disregard such an honor is to fall to the same tragic fate as Esau, who traded his birthright as an heir of the promises for a mere bowl of soup!
How many of us have not traded much more for much less? How many of us have been frivolously wasting our time when we could have spent it before the Throne of Grace?
Even so, regardless of the terrible delusions that we have succumbed to, if we repent the Lord can make up all of the ground that we have lost much more quickly than we could ever believe. As Peter explained:

2 Peter 3:8 - "But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

The Lord can do in us in one day what we think would take a thousand years. His grace is not dependent on our abilities or disabilities, or on time. If we repent of walking in the delusions of devotion to things that are temporary, we can right now be as close to Him as we want to be, and our deeds will begin to have the mark of eternity on them - we will begin to bear fruit that remains.

Psalm 34:1 -" I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

Psalm 69:30 - "I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving."

"You will also be [considered] a crown of glory and splendor in the hand of the Lord, And a royal diadem [exceedingly beautiful] in the hand of your God." - AMP

Wear the crown of glory that He would have you wear uprightly. Lay down any identity that man would come with. Man would come and try to push His crown off your head, and put upon it a counterfeit identity.

Lay down all these things that rush into your mind – to where you cannot even come into His presence, because your mind, your spirit, is somewhere else. Press it aside. Press forward in the run of faith. And know, as you run in faith, you will meet Him, face to face, for in His Presence are the answers for every circumstance you are in. You do not understand what is available to you. He brings forth that which would birth life around you.

Call everything that would command you to die – to give up dreams and visions and hope – command it to be cast behind you, for it is of satan. Tell him to get behind you. Tell him that he cannot hinder the CALLING that He has placed upon you. Understand who He calls you to be. You are more than a conqueror in Him, and by His Spirit -- through you.

"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." - Romans 8:11

If God the Father was able to breathe new life into the lifeless body of His Son, then you and I are also beneficiaries of this great gift – given to us when Jesus died and was raised from the dead. But it's up to us to grab hold of this gift in faith and believe it as if it were so, because it only comes alive for us as we apply it and say, "It's mine, and I'm not taking no for an answer!" Once we do that we are supernaturally empowered and energized by the mighty power of God—unstoppable!

Psalm 84:11 says, "No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly." That means that He will never refuse to restore to those who ask for help. No one is too far gone if they're still alive and breathing air. In fact, Psalm 116:2 puts it this way: "Because He bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!"

Jesus was raised from the dead by the power of God the Father, and that very same power already resides in us because His Holy Spirit lives inside us. With this inborn power, God can resurrect our dreams, our godly ambitions, and our passions. Every good thing that's been lost can be restored to even greater heights through the miraculous power of God.

Ten Power Exhortations - February 18, 2019

By not speaking, desiring, nor reasoning, we reach the central place of the inward walk -- that place where God speaks to our inward man. It is there that God communicates Himself to our spirit.

"For God alone, my soul waits in silence." - Psalm 62:1

We recall that Jacob wrestled with the Lord all night, until daybreak? THEN it was when the Lord blessed him. We persevere against any and all difficulties which confront us in our seeking the Lord's presence in our spirit. We are steadfast until the Lord gives our spirit His blessing.

As I take one step beyond my own limits, God will give me victory and success as I tap into his mighty power.

As I speak the Word to my spirit, I am strengthened and encouraged by God.

That same Power that raised Jesus from the dead, enables me to rise out of my adverse circumstances and step into the purposes of God for my life.

Start with small amounts of time talking with Jesus. As you get to know Him, you will want to be with Him more and more.

God says to His servant, "You will bring Me glory"(Isaiah 49:1-6). Now, glory is the revelation of God's power and attributes, sometimes accompanied by visible phenomena. Because this is a word for us today, if you quiet your soul and listen carefully, you can hear the Father saying: "You will bring Me glory."

Why did God create you? What is your purpose here on earth? If you have never understood the call of God upon your life, you cannot have an understanding of your full covenant with Him.

Some people think their calling is to sit in church and support someone else's vision.
While it's good to do all you can to encourage someone and support them – each of us has our own CALLING in Christ Jesus. And at the end of the road, Jesus is going to ask you, "What did you do with the anointing I put in your life?"

Matthew 25:25,26,30 - "And I was afraid and went and hid thy talent in the earth...His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant......And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

We get impressions from the Lord but think they are our own imagination, or something else, and don't act on them.

Now we're certainly not chosen, possessed, and holy to do nothing and to live mediocre lives.
Of course not!
We're called to minister in the presence of God, to live an active role in His presence.
Our lives are a priestly service through:
1. Holy intercession, and
2. DISCIPLING new believers into their inheritance in Christ.

1 Peter 2:9 -- "For you have been chosen by God Himself -- you are priests of the King, you are holy and pure, you are God's very own -- all this so that you may show to others how God called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light."

You know there are things you are doing now that are temporary. You are doing them only until you find the thing God wants you to do, the real work you were meant to do. When the fire reaches your core, you will trash all the vestiges of harmless, powerless living.

Charles Spurgeon once said, "Very few Christians believe in the resurrection." If we really believed in the resurrection in our hearts, our lives would be radically different. We would not be so consumed with the things that are temporary, but rather with the things that are eternal.
