"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." - Romans 8:11
If God the Father was able to breathe new life into the lifeless body of His Son, then you and I are also beneficiaries of this great gift – given to us when Jesus died and was raised from the dead. But it's up to us to grab hold of this gift in faith and believe it as if it were so, because it only comes alive for us as we apply it and say, "It's mine, and I'm not taking no for an answer!" Once we do that we are supernaturally empowered and energized by the mighty power of God—unstoppable!
Psalm 84:11 says, "No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly." That means that He will never refuse to restore to those who ask for help. No one is too far gone if they're still alive and breathing air. In fact, Psalm 116:2 puts it this way: "Because He bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!"
Jesus was raised from the dead by the power of God the Father, and that very same power already resides in us because His Holy Spirit lives inside us. With this inborn power, God can resurrect our dreams, our godly ambitions, and our passions. Every good thing that's been lost can be restored to even greater heights through the miraculous power of God.
1 Corinthians 11:28-30, "But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep."
Communion is the "mystical form" of the Tree of Life, hidden from the spiritually blind. Jesus said that if we partake unworthily (without understanding that He Himself is the Tree of Life), we are merely partaking of the process of death, receiving bread and the fruit of the vine – another good meal and we are that much closer to death.
But, if we partake with spiritual understanding, knowing what we are doing, we will no longer be weak, sickly, and dying prematurely. Rather, as we rightly partake of communion, we are receiving "quickening life-giving Spirit," and we will be living.
2 Corinthians 10:4 says, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds."
How is gratitude a weapon?
ASPECTS OF GRATITUDE: Gratitude means being grateful not only for what God has already done but for what He is about to do. Combining faith with gratitude multiplies the power of this spiritual weapon. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. He uses fear to capture hearts. He uses lies to capture land. Gratitude prevents him. Gratitude actually takes territory from the enemy. Thus, gratitude is a weapon in spiritual warfare.
Gratitude creates an atmosphere for increase. Look at all of the traps gratitude helps you avoid: self-pity, entitlement, resentment, greed, lust and anger are a few. See what a great strategy gratitude is? Gratitude helps you avoid disappointment and indignation. As an active strategy for wellness, it promotes healing. It leaves little room for fear. Gratitude and contentment enhance godliness as you set your affection on things above and not things below. That is great gain.
ALLOWING HIS LOVE TO INFUSE YOUR HEART AND WORDS The weapons we use are either from God or from the enemy. When we use the enemy's weapons of fear, hatred, criticism, complaining, judging and taking offense, we let him steal our identity, kill our hope and destroy our future.
We can't let temporal facts cloud our understanding of eternal truth. Jesus said, "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near" (Luke 21:28).
By imagining worst-case scenarios, you make things worse than they are. You will not win the world with your logic, you will win the world with love. There is no logic that can explain His love. So let His love flow through your heart by faith, peace dictate your thoughts, and compassion craft your words.
Ephesians 2:6 - "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus."
When Jesus decided to multiply the bread, He did not do it for just a few friends, He waited until He had a crowd of 5000! When He turned the water into wine He did not just make a few bottles - He made about 120 gallons! He was trying to show His disciples how to think big. There was no way that they could exhaust heaven's supply of bread or wine.
God is big! We are called to reveal how big He is, as well as how wonderful He is. This is one reason why we must learn to ascend into heaven, and come back with a demonstration of heaven. A mustard seed of faith in heaven is greater than a mountain here.
A huge load to us is nothing to Him. When we get this load off of us we will be able to help others with theirs. That's what He wants. That's our other job description - to love one another. With the load off we will be able to climb the ladder easier, and bring far more of heaven back to earth.
All of the things that overwhelm our thinking each day would not even be able to register as a thought if we were truly seated with Christ in the heavenly places.
MY FUTURE IS BIGGER THAN MY GREATEST THOUGHTS CAN YET COMPREHEND.
JESUS CAME TO SHOW ME HOW TO START THINKING FROM HIS PERSPECTIVE IN HEAVEN.
Matthew 28:19,20 - "Go, Then, to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples: baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you."
Genesis 39:20,21 - "Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined. But while Joseph was there in the prison, the LORD was with him;"
No twist or turn—not even abuse, slavery, slander or imprisonment—could hold back the fulfillment of God's destiny for Joseph's life. What people meant for evil, God used for good.
God has not forgotten you. Even when the opposite of your destiny seems to be happening, He is faithful. His promise to you holds power, and He will use every detour and delay to fulfill His promise and bring Himself glory.
Jeremiah 20:9 - "...But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not"
Like Jeremiah and Paul, you have been called before time to accomplish significant works for the Kingdom of God. The patriarchs of old had the same fears that we all have, but they pressed through it and changed the world.
God needs you to believe for the inheritance He has prepared for you. Your part is key in His unfolding plan to bring His Kingdom to Earth; it is not intended only to bless you. Other people are waiting for their treasures that He has deposited in you. They are waiting for the anointing on your life to break out!
You are not meant to be like anyone else! God has given you a unique anointing special to you. You have your own anointing and work (God's purpose for your life) that is intended to give you great joy! Grab ahold of life and make it conform to the promises of God -- we are now in the fullness of time for the purposes of God to come forth.
Psalm 118:5-6 "From my distress I called upon the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me in a large place. The Lord is for me; I will not fear; what can man do to me?"
We can unknowingly become attached to our own abilities, the world's structure, religious thinking, relationships, influence, gifts and responsibilities more than the ways of God. Sometimes in our life's journey we can see how our old attachments have held us in unbelief, fear, and a false sense of security.
God has an agenda for us to be aligned with His heart, ready to move, with NO ATTACHMENTS! In the NEW, there will be responsibilities and structure, but it will not be the same as the old because that mindset has been stripped away, as we establish ourselves in the mind of Christ. For we HAVE the mind of Christ!
1 Corinthians 2:16 TPT "For who has ever intimately known the mind of the Lord Yahweh well enough to become His counselor? Christ has, and we possess Christ's perceptions."
Mark 11:23 - "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them." - Jesus was talking about Spoken Manifestation.
Jesus released His hearers into a Spoken Manifestation Anointing, where we step from a place of prayer (supplication and asking), to a place of commanding, through faith. Jesus said speak to the mountain! Maybe it is a sickness, maybe it is finances, family issues or church situations.
God is calling us to speak to the mountains in our life and believe what we say. It transitions from us seeing God as far off in Heaven, answering our requests, to us recognizing that God lives by His Holy Spirit inside of us, and we can release that power through the spoken word. It's a different kind of thinking.
Do you have a need? Release the Spoken Manifestation Anointing over your life and circumstances. Is there someone sick? Command the mountain of sickness into the sea! Are you believing for a greater presence of God on your ministry, so you can touch more people? Speak to the mountain in the mighty name of Jesus! Jesus was given all authority, and He said in the Scriptures that He has given that authority to us. It's time we speak to the mountains in our lives.
"Delight yourself in the LORD; and He will give you the desires of your heart." - Psalm 37:4
"Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son." - John 14:13
He is pulling you away from the old, and taking you under the water into the unknown for a time of being unseen and unheard, for a "deeper depth" experience with Him.
LET THE HOLY SPIRIT PROPEL YOU FORWARD You will often feel like you are going backwards, but in reality you're being propelled forward into a greater spiritual growth. The tendency is to strive in a forward motion much like you've always done, but soon you realize that you're no match for the current of the Lord's strength.
This is not the enemy doing this! God is asking you to let go of what you "thought" was of Him. Humble yourself and flow in the direction the Holy Spirit is drawing you into. God is asking you to not judge things by your natural eyesight. God is doing something bigger than you can see right now. Yes, He's about to blow your paradigm and expand your destiny consciousness.
What's the purpose of this?
He is preparing to set you up to ride on top of the next big move of His Spirit, but you have to let go of the old to receive the new. God is going to lift you up on the top of this wave with greater speed, accuracy, and impact, than the one you were previously on.
Let go and receive a greater commission!
See with the eyes of your spirit man, not the eyes of your flesh. It's time to graduate and go to the next level in God's calling on your life! It's time to put on the new wineskins fully and receive the infilling of new strength, vigor, and faith. God is getting ready to set you up to ride the wave of your lifetime!
Isaiah 42:9,10 - " Behold the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things;...sing to the Lord a new song, sing His praise from the end of the earth!
John 10:10 - "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."
He is working deep in your heart, He is working and rewiring your mind as you feast on His truth, and He is strengthening you for what is ahead. He is bringing you further into the abundant life that you have in fulfilling His purpose for your life.
1 Corinthians 2:9 - "But, as it is written, 'What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him.'" He is bringing you forth into a time where you will experience a new lease on life. You will have greater strength in Him than you have ever had. You will have greater peace in Him than you have ever known. You will have greater resilience against the schemes of the enemy than you have had before.
He is increasing you, He is breathing life into you, He is strengthening you, empowering you, reviving you and refreshing you. He is the God who finishes the work that He started (Philippians 1:6).
