You know there are things you are doing now that are temporary. You are doing them only until you find the thing God wants you to do, the real work you were meant to do. When the fire reaches your core, you will trash all the vestiges of harmless, powerless living.
Our best days are yet to come! God sent us to do a job and we're going to reap because He is the one who sent us to do it! When we launch out at His Word, we're going to catch what we need to catch, even in some instances where we've not labored.
"As the Father has sent me, even so, I send you." - John 20:21
God has put something inside of us and He wants it to flow out. The more it flows out, the more life it's going to bring. If there's only a trickle at first, He wants it to become a mighty river. It affects lives.
You may be experiencing an urging or intense desire that God is stirring within you -- something you know that you need to step into immediately. Each time we respond to His urging it is one more advancement into our DESTINY.
Your teenager needs to hear father pray. He needs to hear mother pray for him and for herself. He needs to know that his parents trust him to God.
We must go on to maturity. We must set our vision on the PURPOSE (our DESTINY for which we have been made a new creation.
"For all the promises of God in Christ are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." - 2 Corinthians 1:20
There is a union between Christ and the Christian that is so deep, so pure, so sweet, so real, that the very conditions of the human spirit are transmitted to His, and the conditions of Christ's spirit are transmitted to ours.
Father, in the name of Jesus I ask You to strengthen me through Your love and wisdom. Lord Jesus, this day I choose to deny myself, take up my cross and follow You. I will fulfill my destiny through the inner strength of Your might and power. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Jesus is my Great High Priest, and He is interceding for me right now. I boldly confess that I am fear-free and that anxiety has no place in me!
Like Abraham I stagger not at the promises of God through unbelief; but am strong in faith giving glory to God!
I am no accident going somewhere to happen. My life isn't just a loose web of events and circumstances. God has specific plans for me.
Romans 5:3,4 - "And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope."
Jesus did not come to deliver us from our problems but from ourselves. He did not come to change our circumstances - He came to change us.
Hebrews 12:2, "We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith's perfection."
The Lord calls each one and is beckoning us to come into His presence. As our eyes are transfixed on His eyes our vision changes and we are seeing through the eyes of Jesus.
We are given strategies for breakthrough; and we are given revelation on direction we should take or information we would need for the new season ahead. Some are given a scene of encouragement and comfort as they looked through the eyes of Jesus. These Believers are walking through difficult times, but as they fixed their eyes on Jesus their vision is filled with peace, comfort, and hope.
Romans 15:13, "Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in Him."
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1
Faith is stronger than belief. To believe is to give intellectual assent; to have faith is to be inseparable from the object of your devotion. Belief can be changed or lost by a more persuasive argument. True faith is so much a part of the person it can only be taken by death.
A poverty of soul must eternally torment that man who is satisfied merely to reason about eternal life, while remaining without the real possession and power of the indwelling Son of God manifest in his daily experience.
If we are always reasoning, then we cannot cultivate the silence in which God speaks.
The Lord wants to fill us with a holy desperation and a holy violence to lay hold of Him. It's a hunger that will drive us into holy romance with the Lord -- to enthrone Him in every area of our lives -- it's a fresh hunger to come into such intimacy with Jesus that we die to ourselves and come into holy union with Him in every way.
Hunger for God is one of the greatest signs of life a person can have. We must press past intellectual awareness to hunger for heartfelt encounters that change and transform.
"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee; my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is." - Psalm 63:1
We are to live in the very Glory of God. However, we must daily overcome the spirit of the world and press behind the veil that is already torn that we might eat of the Bread of Heaven and look upon the blueprints of heaven.
The Holy Spirit now lives in your inner man to strengthen you and help you to do what you could not do without Him. God's kingdom authority, dominion, and majesty should be reigning in every believer's inner man.
"That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.....that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." - Ephesians 3:16,19
In order to hear from God, you must be convinced that God is going to talk to you right then and there as you are praying.
The revelation that John the Baptist had concerning the Good News and his fresh revelation of the Kingdom must all be "pressed into." We cannot receive present truth revelation without enduring the press.
"The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the Kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it." - Luke 16:16
How will your life change as you become more extreme with your faith? Can you visualize how your relationship with the Father is changing?
I confess that I am exactly the kind of person God wants to use! My heart is right; my attitude is willing; and I deeply desire for God to shape me to become a mighty instrument in His hands.
As I spend time with Jesus, I am being changed into His image - and I demonstrate His life and His nature to other people!
I confess that I live "In faith". I will never relinquish the dream He has put in my heart.
Matthew 4:16 says, "The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death light has dawned."
Just begin to accept the idea that you shine. You received Christ, so your spirit is shining. You may not feel like it, or you may not realize it, but Christ is living inside of you. He is glowing for everyone to see. You may have good days and you may have bad days, but Jesus loves you and He is transforming you into His glorious light. Your mind is being healed and you shall overcome – simply because you confessed His name and asked Him to become real in your life.
You may feel dead in every area of your life, but the light of Jesus is dawning. You may not feel that anything good can come out of your life, but the light of Jesus is dawning. The power of death is destroyed, and you will overcome. Jesus' light is life and brings peace to everyone who enters into it.
You are entering into the fires of God. You are entering into the baptism of fire by the Holy Spirit, and your righteousness is about to shine in ways you never imagined. Jesus is going to be zealous in your heart and you are going to be bold like a lion. The next season is going to be a great season for you. Your light is going to shine!
"Arise, shine, For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you." - Isaiah 60:1,2
Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."
Throughout the Bible, the faith of the saints was never something passive -- but rather a faith of ACTION.
If Abraham never acted on His faith, He would never have departed to the "land of milk and honey" or birthed a new nation. If Moses never acted on His faith, He would never have led the children of Israel out of Egypt. If David never acted on His faith, He would never have defeated Goliath.
If we want to be co-laborers with Jesus, fulfilling His PURPOSE FOR OUR LIFE, we must step out of the comfort zone and move into the life of faith where our only source is the invisible God and the integrity of His word. He said we cannot be His disciples if we don't do this.
"If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me." - Luke 9:23
Put your faith into action today and let your actions be fueled by your faith -- and perhaps, this will be a new day of miracles, breakthroughs, and victory ... for a life of faith -- is a life of victory!
As God's people we learn to live on the basis of hearing God's voice and obeying His word.
"The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in me does his works." - John 14:10
If we are "in Christ", we are moving with the most pressing speed, for we are "in" the most dynamic man who ever walked the earth. When He says to us, "Follow me", He is inviting us to a high-speed chase down the roads of our life. On that chase there is no rest except eternal rest and no security except eternal security.
"My children with who I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you.." - Galatians 4:19
The true success of our ministry to others will be by how it brought forth the formation of Christ within the person God has given us to disciple.
The reshaping of our values and our desires is the key work of the Holy Spirit. This reshaping brings us into conformity and harmony with God's purpose for our lives (our DESTINY).
God is helping me walk out of the problems that have tried to grip my mind and my life. I declare this by faith in Jesus' name.
I confess and meditate on God's word day by day. That word is equipping, outfitting, and furnishing me with all the spiritual gear I need to take the adventurous trip God has planned for my life.
As you become increasingly aware of His Presence, you find it easier to discern the way you should go. This is one of the practical benefits of living close to Him. Instead of wondering about what is on the road ahead or worrying about what you should do if…or when…, you can concentrate on staying in communion with Him. When you actually arrive at a choice-point, He will show you which direction to go.
Many people are so preoccupied with future plans and decisions that they fail to see choices they need to make today. Without any conscious awareness, they make their habitual responses. People who live this way find a dullness creeping into their lives. They sleepwalk through their days, following well-worn paths of routine.
As the Creator of the universe, He is the most creative Being imaginable. He will not leave you circling in deeply rutted paths. Instead, He will lead you along fresh trails of adventure, revealing to you things you did not know. Stay in communication with Him. Follow His guiding Presence.
"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you." - Psalm 32:8
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." - Genesis 1:1
"Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you...." - 2 Timothy 1:6
Every believer holds a position of authority that comes with God-given talents or gifts and is hidden in Christ Jesus, above all demonic authority. So why are so many of us INEFFECTIVE?
God didn't save and deliver you so you could preserve His gift in a sealed jar and live life as usual.
God's people were created to rule and reign, not to be defeated. He has plans for us to rule and reign with Him in eternity. But our practice begins now. We were saved by the power of God and we live by the same power. The devil hates power because he gets kicked out of places where he is the strong man. God is much stronger and wants to kick him out of people and places through us.
We don't need to wait for something to happen. Instead we need to stir that which God has already put inside of us. It is our hunger and thirst for Him that will BREAK US into a greater reality of His glory.
It is time to become a walking God-encounter for others. Stir up your faith and release it to others as situations present themselves. Inhale His love and exhale His peace, for what you allow Him to do in you, He will release through you.
Ecc 10:10 - "If the ax is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success."
How many of us are exerting so much energy for the Kingdom, but are working with dull axes? We need to sharpen our spiritual lives - understanding God's PURPOSE FOR OUR LIFE - get focused in prayer and spend deep time affirming and meditating on the Word regarding our inheritance in Christ.
Then, when we are "out in the woods", working for the Kingdom, our effectiveness will be greatly multiplied because our axes are sharp!
Don't get so busy that your ax becomes dull. Remember that your devotion to the Lord and His word will sharpen your spiritual life, especially before you start the day. Prioritize your devotional life and watch how your "edge" will cut through the problems, obstacles, and difficult situations!
"There were many bones in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And the Lord said unto me, 'prophesy upon these bones and say unto them, Behold I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.'" - Ezekiel 37: 2,4,5
Look at those things over which you have lost your vision. Ask Him to bring resurrection life back into those dead places and renew your vision for your own CALLING IN CHRIST.
We are invited to receive the Spirit, live in the Spirit, embrace the gifts of the Spirit, and be sustained and blown along by the very breath of God to advance our DESTINY in the Spirit.
We cannot be in and out, this way and that way if we're going to move and operate and ascend into the incredible levels that God wants to release in us.
How will your life change as you become more extreme with your faith?
God created you to rule over all the earth and everything the creeps in it. Thus, if the earth in any way is dominating you, you are malfunctioning.
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and OVER ALL THE EARTH.." - Genesis 1:26
The Old Covenant was a system of judgment and death, of the CLOSED Heaven. But Jesus says: 'You shall see the Heaven OPENED, and a way between Heaven and earth, between God and man, made clear. I am that way. I will open Heaven by My own blood.'
"Then He added, 'In truth, in very truth I tell you all, you shall see heaven wide open.....'" - John 1:51
I am confident that His presence in my life is getting stronger.
I am completely determined and committed to keep pushing ahead and to never let go until I've accomplished my God-given mission!
He is preparing to move me upward into a more glorious phase in my life. I am going from glory to glory!
"The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." - Revelation 19:10
We meet people everywhere. Our business is to turn them from being forgetful of God, from being devoid of faith, from being prayerless, so that they become people who habitually pray, who believe in God, remember Him and do his will.
Whenever we share a testimony of what the power of Jesus has done -- any miracle, healing, salvation account -- the Spirit of prophecy is loosed over the people who are hearing it. This means the Spirit of God is actively moving on them to create faith.
John 3:8 tells us, "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." We were born of the Spirit, but sometimes we want to live out of our heads instead of our hearts. We need to determine in our hearts that we're going to ride the wind of the Spirit no matter what our reasonings say, no matter what the naysayers say and no matter what the devil says.
Sometimes we need a fresh baptism of the Spirit. Sometimes we need a fresh baptism of fire. Instead of moaning and groaning in the flesh, sometimes we need to start travailing in the Spirit for that new thing He wants to birth in our lives.
