As sons and daughters of the King, we have been given authority to pray Heaven's blessings to earth.
It is God's desire to bless us and for us to witness and "see" His promises manifest.
Just as Jeremiah was given the ability to "see" his new season (see Jeremiah 1:4-12), we are present-day Jeremiahs – having our eyes opened to understand and know all that God has formed for us (our future and DESTINY) has been preserved. No enemy will be able to steal our future unless we let him! The devil cannot take away what God has promised you unless you allow him entrance.
POSITIONED FOR REVELATION
What is His perfect will? It's easy to know because it is all written in His Word. Yet, there are times when we are being positioned for the "revelation" contained within His Word to us. Revelation is the hidden knowledge of God being made known. We are entering a season where many mysteries are being revealed.
God has not withheld revelation FROM you; He has withheld revelation FOR you. Revelation occurs as God's wisdom and knowledge are released – as if He lifts a veil that has covered our eyes and we are now able to see.
It is His desire that we move closer – reposition ourselves to "draw near." And, in an intimate relationship He will speak to us concerning mysteries. It is time to"Set your mind of the things above, not on the things that are on the earth, for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:2-3).
It is your season to be as Jeremiah and allow God to touch your mouth (Jeremiah 1:9) so that you are empowered to see and confess all that Heaven says about God's PURPOSE for your life, your circumstances, and your future!
BATTLE AGANIST UNBELIEF
If you recall, Jeremiah could not see his future until God "touched his mouth." The word "touched" is the Greek word "naga" (Strongs 5060)and implies that God struck the unbelief that had held Jeremiah's faith captive. The word also implies a "violent act." Think about this a moment. God did a violent act against Jeremiah's unbelief. God, Himself, went to battle against Jeremiah's mindsets concerning his abilities to be used by God (see Jeremiah 1:1-12).
The finished work at the Cross promises you a new season. Jeremiah was able to "see" an almond branch budding. The almond branch is the first branch to bloom in a new season.
Psalm 5:3 -- "In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation."
Hearing from God is living with expectation toward Him because expectation places a demand on the Holy Spirit. We should live with expectation toward God twenty-four hours a day, for He abides within us at all times.
God does talk. He is speaking continually. Christians need to develop their receivers (their human spirits) which will enable them to tune in to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Ultimately, the Lord desires that we LIVE A LIFE OF LISTENING. If we insist on God speaking audibly to us, it basically breaks one of His fundamental laws -- It is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6). It takes no faith to hear or obey an audible voice. But it does take faith to pay attention to the still small inner voice and witness of the Holy Spirit. It takes dicipline to command all manner of distractions to be still while we wait before God.
KEEPING A RECORD
In beginning a life of expectation we need to keep a RECORD. Reasons for keeping a record:
1. The act of keeping a record is an act of expection in itself. You are expecting God to TALK TO YOU. Expectation pulls virtue out of God.
2. Impressions that you receive from God have a way of being quickly forgotten. Anything that God speaks to you is not a product of your reasoning mind or thought processes. Whatever way His voice comes to you, it all bypasses the intellectual reasoning process, and is given to your spirit. When the Lord 'drops' knowledge into one's spirit, it usually has nothing to do with the rationalizing process the mind was going through at the time. His voice may have actually interrupted our thought process.
FOCUS ON THE HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR FIRST WAKING MOMENTS
In the first few waking moments of the day, while the mind is still fresh and coming out of sleep, the Holy Spirit will talk to us. It's as though He catches the brain off guard, and in those first few seconds and minutes (if we pay attention) we will hear the Lord. If we start our day by thinking of all that needs to be done, our minds will attempt to figure things out, and we'll shut God out of our thoughts. If we focus on Him, He will talk to us and direct our day.
I live with expectation, I pray with expectation, I listen with expectation -- I hear HIS VOICE.
I take time to listen to the Lord to hear strategies for myself, my family, and the needs of the Kingdom.
1 Corinthians 1:18; 4:2018For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 20For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power.
2 Corinthians 4:77But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;
(The anointing we call “Dunamis” comes from the New Testament Greek word that describes a special kind of explosive power from God. Dunamis means dynamic, miraculous power, might, magnitude, violence, mighty work, great power, abundance, great strength, great virtue and to do the impossible.)
Revelation 4:55Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;
(Dunamis is exuberant! It’s bold, experience oriented. It is the manifestation of God’s lightening.)
Luke 24:49 - "And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Acts 1:88but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
(It is about pressing in for miracles, signs and wonders. Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit came upon them and gave them Dunamis power. After the disciples waited ten days the Holy Spirit came. They had a “Dunamis” encounter, and the New testament church was birthed.)
Luke 4:14; 4:36; 5:1714And Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through all the surrounding district. 36And amazement came upon them all, and they began talking with one another saying, “What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits and they come out.” 17One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing.
(This supernatural endowment involves preaching and teaching the gospel and “healing every sickness and every disease among the people.”)
Acts 4:31,3331And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness. 33And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.
(“And they spoke the word of God with boldness”. It was right after this encounter with the Holy Spirit that “with great power (Dunamis) the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus."
The miracle anointing is “Dunamis power”: When we have the anointing for miracles, at any time we can say who wants to be healed? Let’s release our Dunamis power. It’s not about us, it’s about Jesus’ miracle anointing (The Hebrew word “MASHACH” for anointing means rubbing or smearing with oil to consecrate someone. It’s also the word “SHEMEN”, which is the “burden removing yoke destroying” power of God.)
In Ephesians 5:18 the apostle Paul told believers “do not be drunk with wine in which is dissipation but be filled with the Spirit.” So what does it mean to be filled? We’re talking about a constant encounter of Dunamis power.
Stand firm and do not be moved! As believers, we are rooted and grounded in His magnificent love. Because we are established in His love, we can have a peace that passes all natural understanding. And we have COURAGE, the depth of which is confidence in the Lord.
"And that Christ will make His home in your hearts, through faith. I pray that you wil have your roots and foundations in love so that.....you will have the power to understand how broad and long and deep is Christ's love. " - Ephesians 3:17
This place of trust is beyond the natural ability of a person. It comes only through a relationship with the Lord, who will lead us and bring to pass all He has purposed for us (our CALLING in Christ). As we are directed by Him, we can also be assured that He is making every path straight.
As believers, we declare that we, "Trust in the LORD with all [our] heart, and lean not on [our] own understanding; in all [our] ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct [our] paths." - Proverbs 3:56
This creates in us PERSEVERANCE THROUGH OUR FAITH as we hear and are led by Him. Holy perseverance is God-empowered boldness or courage that enables us deep within to persevere.
One way we can define perseverance is simply to stay the course. This is a powerful blessing from the Lord that enables us to believe the impossible is possible. It is a work of the Holy Spirit within that enables us to have strength to stay the course, regardless of present circumstances or situations. This is what the prophet Isaiah wrote about:
"Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice." - Isaiah 41:10 AMP
HERE IS THE INCREDIBLE PROMISE:
You can stay the course because of the enabling of the strength of the Lord for you and in you!
Believe that the Holy Spirit will release an even greater strengthening deep within so that you will stand firm for the promises of the Lord for your life and your family. As you lean into the Lord, you will go from strength to strength with deep courage to believe for the impossible to be possible.
A very fundamental way God speaks to individual believers is through His peace. Too often we take the peace of God for granted. God's peace is that eternal tranquilizer that governs our being.
Romans 5:1 -- 'Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace WITH GOD through our Lord Jesus Christ.' Ephesians 2:13,14 -- 'But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been made near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of division between us.'
There is a difference between having:
1. The peace of God and,
2. Having peace with God
Any born-again believer who loves God and desires to serve Him has peace WITH God. This is simply part of the blood covenant. His peace is part of the package.
But a common way God speaks to the believer is through the "peace OF God", or lack thereof, concerning specific situations: Colossians 3:15 (Amp) -- 'And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from the Christ rule (act as an umpire continually) in your hearts -- deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds -- (in that peaceful state) to which (as members of Christ's one body you were called (to live). And be thankful -- appreciative, giving praise to God always.'
THE HOLY SPIRIT DECLARES PEACE TO OUR SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit within is that Heavenly Umpire who continaully declares peace -- or lack of peace.
When a Christian may express concerning a decision, 'I just don't have peace about it.' He is not saying he does not have peace WITH God, but that he lacks the peace OF God concerning the specific decision he is trying to make.
At other times, when a decision has to be made, the Holy Spirit within may give a tremendous inundation of peace that gives assurance to the believer. This overwhelming peace is indicatation that the decision is in the will of God.
THE ABSENCE OF PEACE IS THE ABSENCE OF CONFIRMATION
When we walk with God and begin to turn the wrong way, we may immediately sence something lacking. We know His presence is mysteriously missing. We should be sensitive to that lack of peace.
As we walk in the Spirit, we should take note when His Presence is missing and turn around. Then ask why. He will reveal the reason. The peace OF God, or the absence of His peace is the voice of the Lord. It is clearly one way He communicates to every child of God.
Psalm 18:28-29 says, “For You will light my lamp; the Lord My God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop; by my God I can leap over a wall.”
Not only will you leap over a wall, but you will receive supernatural strength, leap over every obstacle, and position yourself to go through the opening door that God has for you. Fear not the enemies on the other side of this gate. For you will leap through your new point of entry and tread upon the enemy’s head.
REPLACE YOUR PAST WITH JOY!
You must find your place of “departure.” There are some things you NEED TO LEAVE BEHIND as you depart one phase or season, you will also see your place to enter. May He accelerate time for you. Develop new strength to run the race ahead. Seek Him like never before, and all things will be added to you. Leap forward and you will find yourself moving in the perfect will of God!
Remove any mask of sadness and turn your sorrow to laughter. In the land of New Beginnings, you must remove the masks and veils that have formed in the past season so you can now form your “true” identity for the future.
NEW IDENTITY AND AUTHORITY
Isaiah 41:15 ("Behold, I will make you to be a new, sharp, threshing instrument which has teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and shall make the hills like chaff") has become a key word for you. There is a new identity and authority for you in the invisible world. This will allow you to display the wisdom of God to the powers and principalities that have blocked you in past seasons.
You will be filled with joy. The Lord is renewing your strength. May the power of barrenness break. May you know and walk in the advantage of light over darkness, and may light and revelation break the power of darkness around you.
Shout, “My Fear shall Laugh!” Celebrate! Declare deliverance from any deep hidden grief. Ask the Lord for joy and laughter to arise in your emotions. Declare your emotions are healed and restored.
One of the best verses to shout out loud is, "The Lord will make my feet like hinds' feet." You should decree that you will skip and jump on the mountains of the circumstances in your life. You should decree that your fortunes are increasing and becoming strong. As joy increases you are propelled into a season of deliverance.
A TIME FOR HEALING
This is a time for transformation in the area of healing. Begin to believe for God to put you in touch with people that need healing--both physical and emotional. Decree healing in their bodies and lives! Your true identity should begin to be reflected . There is an identity for you in the invisible world that gives you authority. Guard yourself from idolatry. Begin to change your wardrobe--both spiritually and physically! The Lord made the body and relates His Body to our body.
DECLARATIONS: 1. Declare that any root of depression and despair break.
2. Bind any confused communication or miscommunication. Declare that your words and expressions will be clear.
3. Ask the Lord to remove your worry and anxiety over supply. Declare that you will find your supply in “hidden” dimensions.
4. Declare anything that is robbing your joy will be detected and removed. Wait for the Lord’s saving grace to be released in a new way and divine judgment to work against your enemies. (Read Exodus 23 and Isaiah 40.)
Hosea 4:6 - "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."
Proverbs 29:18 says similarly, "Where there is no revelation the people cast off restraint." A more correct and complete translation is: "Without a prophetic revelation, the people go unrestrained, walking in circles, having no certain DESTINY."
The word vision refers to the spirit of revelation coming upon you, giving you a vision of things that are unseen. Revelation is so essential in our lives that without it we perish. This is what we live by. Without unfolding prophetic revelation that expands your capacity to see life from God's perspective, you will perish. Without seeing your present circumstances through God's eyes, you will spiritually die.
Revelation is critical to the normal Christian life. Ephesians 1:17 - "For I always pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation (of insight into mysteries and secrets) in the deep and intimate knowledge of Him." Affirmations: I HUNGER FOR AND VIGOROULSLY PURSUE REVELATION.
I CRY OUT DAY AND NIGHT FOR THE FULLNESS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
I ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO REVEAL TO ME THE MYSTERIES THAT ARE LOCKED IN SCRIPTURE.
Ephesians 2:10 - "For we are God's own workmanship, recreated in Christ Jesus, that we may do those good works which God predestined for us, that we should walk in them."
2 Corinthinas 3:18 - "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit."
Seeing His glory is more than just seeing His beautiful colors and majesty of His person. The glory of the Lord is described in a number of ways in Scripture, such as:
1. His Works 2. His Nature 3. His Power
By seeing His nature, we are transformed into the same nature.
By seeing His works, we are empowered to do His work.
By seeing His power we grow in the faith that releases His power.
GENERAL RULE: IF YOU ARE DRAWN TO A CERTAIN PART OF THE LORD'S NATURE, PURSUE IT!
1. If we are called to be a pastor or shepherd, we will perceive His glory as the Good Shepherd. A shepherd will tend to see Jesus' shepherding nature in everything Jesus did and will be transformed into that aspect of His glory by this. 2. Likewise, someone who is called to be a teacher will see Jesus' glory as the Teacher in everything He did, and this will transform and impart to them His teaching nature. 3. An evangelist will tend to see Jesus' glory in the Evangelist in all that He did, and they will be likewise transformed into that part of His nature.
As the Scriptures verify, we were know by God and CALLED by Him before the foundation of the world. When He made us, He made us with a purpose, and thatCALLING in Christ is over and above our secular vocation:
1. If we are called to a teaching ministry, few things will be as rewarding as seeing people receive understanding about the Lord and His ways.
2. If we are called to a healing ministry, few things will be as rewarding as seeing someone healed. 3. If we are called to prophetic ministry, receiving revelation from the Lord will be one of the most fulfilling things that can happen to us, and so on......
QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: 1. What is it about Jesus that attracts me to Him the most?
2. What is it that He did that I would love to be able to do the most?
Affirmations: BY KNOWING HIM, BEHOLDING HIM, AND FOLLOWING HIM, THERE IS A TRANSFORMATION AND IMPARTATION THAT RELEASES HIS AUTHORITY IN ME.
MY BASIC PURPOSE IS TO LOVE GOD, BECOME LIKE HIM, AND DO THE WORKS HE PREDESTINED FOR ME.
"Delight yourself in the LORD; and He will give you the desires of your heart." - Psalm 37:4
"Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son." - John 14:13
He is pulling you away from the old, and taking you under the water into the unknown for a time of being unseen and unheard, for a "deeper depth" experience with Him.
LET THE HOLY SPIRIT PROPEL YOU FORWARD
You will often feel like you are going backwards, but in reality you're being propelled forward into a greater spiritual growth. The tendency is to strive in a forward motion much like you've always done, but soon you realize that you're no match for the current of the Lord's strength.
This is not the enemy doing this! God is asking you to let go of what you "thought" was of Him. Humble yourself and flow in the direction the Holy Spirit is drawing you into. God is asking you to not judge things by your natural eyesight. God is doing something bigger than you can see right now. Yes, He's about to blow your paradigm and expand your destiny consciousness.
What's the purpose of this?
He is preparing to set you up to ride on top of the next big move of His Spirit, but you have to let go of the old to receive the new. God is going to lift you up on the top of this wave with greater speed, accuracy, and impact, than the one you were previously on.
Let go and receive a greater commission!
See with the eyes of your spirit man, not the eyes of your flesh. It's time to graduate and go to the next level! It's time to put on the new wine skins fully and receive the infilling of new strength, vigor, and faith.
God is getting ready to set you up to ride the wave of your lifetime! Isaiah 42:9,10 - " Behold the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things;......sing to the Lord a new song, sing His praise from the end of the earth!
False foundations, paradigms, illegitimate structures, systems, and limitations must bow to the Father's Kingdom. His Kingdom is perpetually coming to earth, and one day will fill the earth in Father's glory, as the water covers the sea. The Kingdom of God is within us and, whether we are noticing it or not, will continue to break through on earth as it is in Heaven. The shaking must happen, and yet those who desire to live in His inheritance that Christ paid for will see His glory now, in the midst of the natural chaos that is seemingly all around them.
SOME REMINDERS OF THE FATHER'S KINGDOM
1. Kingdom is within: "The Kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within (or among) you." Luke 17:20-21
2. Kingdom approached through understanding: "When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, He said to him "You are not far from the Kingdom of God." Mark 12:34
3. Kingdom accepted like a child: "I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." Mark 10:15
4. Kingdom entered through spiritual rebirth: "Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit." John 3:5
5. Kingdom entered through doing the will of God: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only those who do the will of My Father who is in Heaven." Matthew 7:21
6. Kingdom that will be inherited by the righteous: "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the Kingdom of God?" 1 Corinthians 6:9
OUR INHERITANCE IS NOW
Father desires for us to live in His inheritance now, intimate and obedient to Him, accessing God's PURPOSE for our life on this planet, while eternity unfolds. One of the big reasons we have not seen the power of God through the Body of Christ is because most of the Body of Christ does not UNDERSTAND THEIR INHERITANCE THROUGH THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST, nor the incredible eternal seed of Father's glory that is within them. We are stuck in the idea of waiting on Jesus and Heaven, while Jesus and the substance of Heaven is waiting on us. So the shaking and awakening continues as the Lord brings us from our bankrupt paradigms and lifestyles, to Ambassadors of His Kingdom and influencers of His Heavenly Substance.
EMBRACING HIS LOVE
We must embrace His love on a continuum and not rely on what we see. As we seek His Kingdom, His love, His righteousness, what we need will be added, and Father will remove all fear and limitations that have kept us from His best. Healing and wholeness for the journey will come as we allow His light to dispel the darkness in our souls.
Matthew 22:36-40 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" And He said to him, "'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."
Our identity is in Him, as movers and shakers of faith motivated by His love, and He has given us freedom to live, move, and have our being in His PURPOSE for our life and in His ways. By His Spirit we can choose to abandon fear and hopelessness, and embrace the DESTINY that has been deposited within each of us.
I am ready to expand my reality and become the destiny for which I have been predestined.
I live my life with a sense of my unique devine destiny supported by goals and aims. As I look toward heaven, God is pointing me toward my destiny.
I seek God for my destiny, and don't lose sight of the heavenly vision -- the advancement of His Kingdom.
My promised land (my DESTINY) lies on the other side of fear.
As I speak the Word over my own life and prophesy my own DESTINY in agreement with Him, I release the Holy Spirit in greater measure to bring the Word to pass.
